Our home was remodeled a few years ago and features a gourmet kitchen with Alder cabinets, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Dacor range, granite counters and maple flooring. High quality furnishings are throughout our 1,600 square foot home. East Vail features a true alpine setting, our home is no exception. Great mountain views, very sunny in the morning. There is an Alder dining table that expands with six chairs and an eat-in center island too. A Weber gas grille is on the deck. We have a King bed in the upper level Master. Adjacent is a travertine tile bath with a glass enclosed shower. The lower level has two bedrooms; one with bunk beds, the other with two twins that we make up as a King if desired; this level also has a family room with a TV/DVD and the fireplace.
The slate tile entry way has a mud room and is adjacent to the laundry area. We have a two-car garage, a nice feature on snowy mornings. The Town of Vail bus stop is about 100 yards away and runs every 15 minutes in the winter. The Vail Racquet Club is a short walk past Bighorn Park. There is a nominal fee to use the club’s facilities. This is a complete athletic club with indoor and outdoor whirlpools, outdoor pool, complete workout facility, exercise classes (nice after a day on the slopes) and a restaurant. We have a home theater system upstairs with a flat panel TV, there is also a TV in the kitchen and high speed wireless wifi. Bring your iPod, we have a dock connected to the system.
