We booked for a week. Whe arrived Friday late in the evening, and received a very nice welcome. At our request the owners did some shopping so that we had something to drink, and a nice breakfast in the morning. The owners made arrangements for trips to Auschwitz and the Saltmines which went very well. The appartement was clean, the beds were good, even for me (at 2.4m/6.7 feet tall). The two bathrooms where also clean and modern. The kitchen was fully equiped. The appartement is close to the old town en supermarkets are nearby. Whe had a good week and were very satisfied.

We were guests for the month of October. The apartment is very conveniently located, just off the Planty, and very short tram rides to the Stare Maesto square, to Galleria Kazimierz and Galleria Krakowska! Vitek and Grazyna are very accomodating hosts and more than helpful with suggestions for restaurants, groceries, etc. The apartment itself has been very nicely remodel in an old building on Sarego Street; very comfortable for two couples.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, having been renovated and decorated recently. It has all the amenities we needed. The hosts are accommodating, friendly, and speak fluent English. They made reservations for us to go to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines, with the tourist companies picking us up at the apartment. Extremely convenient! The housekeeper cleaned the apartment as if it were our home. Vitek answered all our questions and checked on us during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable, beautiful, quiet place to stay that is convenient to Old Town Krakow.

Excellent location, very helpful staff, top notch accomodations. Four of us stayed here for five nights and could not have been more pleased with our choice of a place to stay in Krakow. Little things were bonuses-the use of a local cell phone, pick up and delivery from/to the train station, stocked fridge of basics when we arrived. Easy walking to the main square and other spots we wanted to see in Krakow. Definitely recommend this spot to others.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The central location was so good. We especially enjoyed the restaurant and sausage stand recommendations. The nearby fruit and vegetable market is also a great place to buy pastry and bread. We appreciated all the food that Vitek provided upon our arrival. He was so kind in helping us when we had delays in our train travel. (Thank you Vitek for providing such a lovely stay in Krakow.)

The apartment was exactly as described in the listing. Actually, even more attractive than the photographs. Beautiful bathrooms, large rooms, big windows opening on a quiet, tree-lined street. There were unanticipated and welcome extras, like a wall-safe for security. The apartment is ideally located, not only for walking to the main attractions, but also for easy access to public transportation by trams and buses. Between Gertrudy and Dietla, we had the city in our hands. Grazyna and Vitek were kind enough to stock the fridge with whatever we wanted in time for our arrival; mercifully, we only asked for cold water! We tried most of the recommendations on the list of eateries that they gave us. All were as described. We loved getting late-night sausages on the street, freshly grilled, at Hala Targowa, and we will always remember getting what must be truly the best ice cream in Krakow and perhaps in Europe. We had a perfect four days in June, including memorable visits to Nova Huta and Auschwitz/Birkenau. For those so inclined, we would also suggest a visit to the newly opened contemporary art museum (MOCAK) in the old ghetto, next to the Schindler factory. In sum, we felt that the apartment offered us way more than any hotel, and we would recommend it to friends or go back again ourselves. We had a great time in Krakow.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. IT's actually a lot nicer and more spacious than what the pictures show. I was surprised at how nice it was. It was EXTREMELY clean and both bedrooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are big and clean and the family room has lots of seating and the kitchen is just the right size. What I especially appreciated was that upon arrival Vitek gave us a map of the area and had marked great restaurants, nearby groceries, and all the great sites. HE also had lots of brochures and information about the area that you would be able to get from a concierge at a hotel. The only drawback was that it's kind of far from the trainstation. But, it's a great location in that you can walk to Wawel Castle and Old Town in just a matter of minutes. This is the fourth apartment I've rented from vrbo in Europe and it was by far the nicest one. Very happy with our stay.

Two couples recently spent four nights at this great apartment which is ideally located for sightseeing in Krakow. Grazyna and Vitek were gracious hosts and made excellent suggestions for restaurants. Vitek also made arrangements with a tour company to pick us up at the door for a trip to Auschwitz. It didn't take us long to get acquainted with Krakow. As many other guests have reported, the apartment is centrally located...an easy walk to Wawel Castle, Old Town, and Kazimierz Jewish Quarter. This trip also included four nights in Budapest and four nights in Warsaw. Krakow was our favorite spot, and this apartment was part of the reason why. If we return to Krakow, this is where we'll stay.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Apartment Sara. It is located in a terrific area of Krakow, close to the major sights (Wawel, Rynek Glowny), restaurants and a grocery store. Vitek was very helpful when answering our questions and the welcome basket of fruit, lunch meats and bread was most appreciated. Having the cell phone was a great bonus as it helped us confirm our out of town excursions. The apartment and amenities are as you see in the listing but it is even better in person! We stayed at Sarego 20 in March, 2011 and were absolutely thrilled with our choice. The location could really not have been better-10 minutes from the square in the old town-very quiet neighborhood, but close to resturants and shops. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well appointed and we were made to feel welcome. Also we were given a cell phone so that we could call with questions which was really handy. Great experience

Luxurious Apartment In A Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed in Apartment Sara for three nights in March 2011. It was a very spacious and comfortable apartment which had been tastefully renovated to a high standard. We really enjoyed the log fire and there was a plentiful supply of wood. The location of the apartment was perfect - very close to Krakow's magnificent square and yet peaceful. Grazyna and Vitek could not have been more helpful - right down to checking us in and out, arranging taxi transfers from and to the airport and booking a tour for us which picked us up and dropped us off at the front door. They provided a map with useful information on it and a mobile phone so that we could contact them if needed. We can highly recommend "Pod Baranem" restaurant - fine Polish dining, excellent service and very reasonable prices. If you are ever in Krakow then Apartment Sara is the place to stay!

We absolutely loved the apartment. It was very spacious and convenient to all the attractions. Weekend and nighttime parking outside was plentiful. Great neighborhood with a lot of charm. A small grocery store nearby. The main attractions were only 5 minutes walk away. Perfect in every way! We travelled with 3 young kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. The owners were very forthcoming and flexible and even provided a cell phone to use in case we needed help. We have found a Polish home away from home and plan to use the apartment again in the future.

My sister-in-law, wife and I stayed in Apartment Sara for two weeks in July. The apartment is exactly like the descriptions we had read about it. It was very nice. There were many personal touches by Vitek and Grazyna. They even supplied a great sampling of foods and fresh flowers on our arrival. This was a welcome treat to travelers after a long airplane trip. All of our many questions were answered and they gave us a great map with recommendations of good restaurants in Krakow. This was very helpful. Vitek also set up a river rafting trip for us. Everything is within short walking distances from the apartment. We had been in Krakow a year ago and had to use the trams and buses all the time to get to any place. This year we were able to walk to most everything. It was a great place to stay and all three of us would highly recommend the apartment to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Krakow. Vitek arranged our airport pickup on arrival and even arranged for our pickup to go back to the airport to leave Krakow at an unbelievable time of 4:30 am without any problems. This was great. Comfort and Convenience in Beautiful Krakow!

This apartment was everything described and more! Spacious and private, the apartment was clean and ideally located for our eight day stay in Krakow. Even though it was quite warm in Krakow during our visit, the apartment remained cool! Sarego St. is peaceful, with an urban neighborhood appeal. We walked easily to the city square, the Planty, Wawel Castle, and the Jewish Quarter and always felt safe doing so. Shopping, restaurants and groceries are all within easy reach. Vitek was very friendly and accessible. He greeted us with a wonderful assortment of fresh fruits, meats and cheeses and offered great advice on restaurants, tours and Krakow highlights. He helped us regain with our lost luggage and was always just a phone call away. Our daughter and her husband stayed with us at the apartment for our entire visit; with all the space available in the apartment we could easily gather as a group or find privacy when needed. Love the living room - beautiful high ceilings! The kitchen was very well equipped and very clean, as were the bathrooms. Appliances were fully operational. Having a place to come home to each day really added to our enjoyment of Krakow. Our next trip to Krakow to visit our daughter will be scheduled to match up with the availability of this apartment. We loved it!

With three children 9, 11 and 16 travelling with us the space and freedom this 1st class apartment gave us was perfect. We will certainly be recommending this as an ideal base to explore Krakow. Everything is within a short walking distance and our hosts arranged our tours to Auswitch and the Salt Mines with pick up and drop off outside the apartment. We used our hosts recommendations for eating out and found the local cuisine excellent. As a family we also self catered and found the kitchen and local supermarket ideal for our needs. Prices are very low when compared to Irish prices (about half) The apartment is spotless with excellent living, sleeping and bathroom facilities.. (You could easily spend the evening staying in and feel totally at home...) The ornate high ceilings gave a sense of grandeur and comfort.. (far exceeds any hotel experience) The city itself is beautiful with architecture, churches, city walls etc dating to the 9th century. A lived in city where I felt totally safe at all times...

Krakow was the second stop on our 2 month tour of major cities of Central and Western Europe. We stayed in the luxury Apartment Sara where we knew the accomodations would be nice from the description and photos posted on the website. Not only were the listing descriptions accurate, we were pleased to find the apartment far exceeded our expectations. An excerpt from my journal entry for our arrival day states: "This apartment is phenomenal! The rooms are huge, beautifully decorated and furnished, and the bathrooms are 5* hotel quality. The living room has leather furniture, hardwood floors covered with oriental area rugs, a big flat screen TV, plus the most beautiful decorative painted ceiling. I feel like I'm staying in a very high quality hotel without the high pricetag." The apartment is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything the Old Town has to offer including some very enjoyable restaurants recommended by our host. We especially enjoyed our daily walks along the Planty, touring the beautiful Wawel Castle and grounds, visiting the abundance of churches with their varied and beautifully executed artistic styles, the bustle of the Main Market Square with its Cloth Hall and wonderful handcrafted souvenirs. Grazyna and Vitek supplied everything in their pristine apartment one could possibly need, provided a cell phone so we could reach them when needed, and even made reservations and transportation arrangements for our visit to Auschwitz. They were most pleasant and accommodating as they provided excellent service. At the end of our journey, during which we visited an additional 18 cities, we agreed without question that our hosts at Apartment Sara and the apartment itself were the finest we had encountered. Unless you are unable to climb a flight of stairs, we highly recommend Apartment Sara to everyone! You will not be disappointed in any way. Our grateful thanks to Grazyna and Vitek; we hope to visit Apartment Sara again in the future.

Apartment Sara fit our need for Krakow housing very well. Very well maintained, clean, affordable, and comfortable with amenities you won't find elsewhere. We would most definitely stay there again upon a return visit to Krakow. Location is very central to both Wawel and Old Town and walking to either is very easy. Vitek is very easy to work with, and most helpful, and we couldn't thank him enough for the fine service.

Apartment Sara fit our need for Krakow housing very well. Very well maintained, clean, affordable, and comfortable with amenities you won't find elsewhere. We would most definitely stay there again upon a return visit to Krakow. Location is very central to both Wawel and Old Town and walking to either is very easy. Vitek is very easy to work with, and most helpful, and we couldn't thank him enough for the fine service.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Value for more ... and then some...

Thanks Grazyna and Vitek for lending us your excellent appartment in Larkow. My girlfriend and I had a great stay - lots of space for two independant young ladies and all the facilities - in the appartment and nearby - that we could wish for. The appartment was clean, tidy and had plenty of room for more people - a bit of a luxury to have it all to ourselves! We will definitely come and stay again when we come to Poland! Top-notch experience all around - ideal location, fair price, roomy interior with a lot of class, well-appointed kitchen. Landlord picked us up at the airport, provided us with a cellphone, and had some goodies (wine, beer, maliny, peaches, etc.) waiting for us, all at no cost.

This is an excellent apartment and so nice to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The apartment is immaculate, beautifully decorated, has all the amenities, and the well stocked kitchen was a treat. Before we arrived the owners suggested sights we might be interested in and then arranged for tours that picked us up and delivered us to the front door. Vitek met us at the train station and and was very attentive to all our requests. The apartment is centrally located on a quiet street and is in walking distance of the Central Square and many other attractions. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again. Thank you Vitek and Grazyna!

Krakow was the second stop on our 2 month tour of major cities of Central and Western Europe. We stayed in the luxury Apartment Sara where we knew the accomodations would be nice from the description and photos posted on the website. Not only were the listing descriptions accurate, we were pleased to find the apartment far exceeded our expectations. An excerpt from my journal entry for our arrival day states: "This apartment is phenomenal! The rooms are huge, beautifully decorated and furnished, and the bathrooms are 5* hotel quality. The living room has leather furniture, hardwood floors covered with oriental area rugs, a big flat screen TV, plus the most beautiful decorative painted ceiling. I feel like I'm staying in a very high quality hotel without the high pricetag." The apartment is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything the Old Town has to offer including some very enjoyable restaurants recommended by our host. We especially enjoyed our daily walks along the Planty, touring the beautiful Wawel Castle and grounds, visiting the abundance of churches with their varied and beautifully executed artistic styles, the bustle of the Main Market Square with its Cloth Hall and wonderful handcrafted souvenirs. Grazyna and Vitek supplied everything in their pristine apartment one could possibly need, provided a cell phone so we could reach them when needed, and even made reservations and transportation arrangements for our visit to Auschwitz. They were most pleasant and accommodating as they provided excellent service. At the end of our journey, during which we visited an additional 18 cities, we agreed without question that our hosts at Apartment Sara and the apartment itself were the finest we had encountered. Unless you are unable to climb a flight of stairs, we highly recommend Apartment Sara to everyone! You will not be disappointed in any way. Our grateful thanks to Grazyna and Vitek; we hope to visit Apartment Sara again in the future.

Our family of five stayed in this beautiful, clean apartment. It was (truly) within walking distance of the Old Town and many wonderful shops and restaurants. Grazyna and Vitek are very helpful and can make many arrangements for you. We are already recommending them to our fellow travellers. Everything we needed (hair dryer, iron, coffeemaker, toaster and MUCH MUCH more) is there. Grocery store is one minute away. Perfect for a family!

My friends and I loved this apartment, by far the nicest in our entire two month trek around Europe using, booked apartments in most cities we visited. This was decidedly the best one we experienced. The apartment was spotlessly clean, large, spacious, nicely decorated, with a great kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and it had all facilities we could possibly have wanted. Vitek was very gracious to meet us at the train station, and left a cell phone with us to call him if we had any problems. Most highly recommended!

Our family of five stayed in this beautiful, clean apartment. It was (truly) within walking distance of the Old Town and many wonderful shops and restaurants. We stayed in this beautiful apartment from June 10th to 16th. This was our third VRBO rental apartment (first in Paris; second in Berlin) -- all were outstanding but in terms of size, amenities and proximity to attractions, this was the best. 20 Sarego is a large apartment which is totally quipped for your stay. The kitchen is as complete as your own home and has a dishwasher, if you decide to stay away from the many inexpensive and delicious restaurants. The apartment has two spacious bedrooms and, here's the thing about the bathrooms -- for a Canadian, the absence of water-saver shower heads is a total treat. It's like taking a shower in Canada in the 1960's. The apartment has a 42 inch television with 260 channels (not a tv addict but did like to see the news on BBC World or CNN Europe). The apartment is located in a completely safe area and on a street that is a dead-end which pretty much eliminates traffic. It is located about a 5-10 minute walk from the central square of Krakow, Wawel Castle and Cathedral, the Jewish district and anything else in central Krakow. The Polo Market (grocery store) is less than 5 minutes away as is the main city Post Office. Sylvia (who works for the owners Vitek and Grazyna) met us at the apartment and was so helpful, giving us a complete tour and leaving us her mobile number just in case we needed anything. Krakow is a beautiful, small city in Southern Poland and this the apartment to rent if you want superb accommodations at a good price and easy access to all that the city has to offer.

The apartment was immaculate and had all the modern conveniences - it was even more beautiful then described in the advertisement.We are a family with 2 grown sons.The size allowed us breathing room for 4 adults. The location is superb and very close to to the main square, beautiful parks, transit, fabulous restaurants, excellent shopping and all attractions. We felt very safe in the apartment, and the neighbourhood.The owners/hosts are extremely attentative and will try to accomodate all requests.They make themselves available to help in anyway to make the stay at the apartment a positive one. They purchased some food items for us prior to arrival so that we could have a bite to eat without running out to the store right away. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to cook or convenient for preparing breakfast before touring the town. The finishings of the apartment are 1st class with modern conveniences in a historic building setting. It is nice to have a washing machine to wash a few items. The fireplace (wood burning) was also a nice touch for those ocasional cooler/rainy nights. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to families, singles, or couples. The only caution is that the building does not have an elevator - we found the 2 sets of stairs great excercise for us but this may cause concern for people with disabilities. All in all this apartment is superb and was one of the highlights for our trip throughout Poland - we thank the owners for making it such a pleasant experience.

The property is very well located. Next to the old town, and moments from the Jewish area. A short taxi from the station. Very spacious and modern. Perfect for couples or families. The fire place would be ideal for winter. The kitchen has all the needed tools and the living area allows for space. Marble bathrooms. Clean and well kept. Very quiet side street (one end of the road is blocked, so no through traffic). Ideal property for basing yourself when staing in Krakow. The owners and manager are very friendly and helpful. To many bars and restruants with in walking distance to mention - the old town and the Jewish area have everything from traditional to sushi. The vodka is worth trying in moderation.
