You will be renting a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium in Building E at Mountain Side. It is a very private and quiet unit. It was recently updated with new carpet, countertops and tile. we recently installed a 39" Sony High definition flat panel TV and fine log furniture in the master bedroom.
It is on a jog in the building and therefore has a large deck and a side living room window. The master bedroom has a large sliding glass door with a view of the national forest and Peak One. Most Mountain Side two bedrooms do not have these features.
Mountainside Condominiums lies immediately adjacent (one block) to the White River National Forest, and the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area. There are numerous great hiking trials for all abilities. It also adjoins the famous paved recreational trail connecting Vail 25 miles to the west, and Breckenridge 9 miles to the south, and Keystone 12 miles to the East.
Frisco is in the heart of Ski Country, you will have the most centralized access to 6 major ski resorts: the steeps of Arapahoe Basin (15 miles), the highest altitude with earliest snow Loveland Pass (12 miles), the unique dual skier (1/2 mogils, 1/2 groomed allows skiers of different abilities to ski together) slopes of Keystone (11 miles), the massive Copper Mountain (7 miles), and last but not least, world famous Vail (28 minute drive) and Breckenridge (15 minute drive). You can ski them all in one week.
There are two small mountain lakes within short walking distance of the condo, Rainbow Lake which is in the National Forest, and the private Mountain Side Lake, which is exclusively for Mountain Side residents and guests only.
We also have a nice clubhouse with indoor pool, steam room, dry sauna and four hot tubs with views of Mount Royal. The clubhouse also has a racquetball court and a nice outdoor tennis court, horseshoe pits and a volley ball court.
On the Frisco Peninsula, recreation land that juts out into Lake Dillon, there is a free Frisbee Golf Course on the land that is used for cross country skiing in the winter. There are also 4 great golf courses in Summit Couny, where at 9,000 ft the ball travels far.
Frisco has a nice small mountain town feel. It has numerous restaurants, bars, a bakery and varied shops on it old time Main Street. Main street is a short five block walk from the condo.
Being nestled next to the National Forest, and away from I-70 and Hwy 9, Mountainside's Building E offers the added benefit of no road noise.
