Hale Laguna is the newest listing to our portfolio of preferred vacation properties. Following a nine month long, total renovation by new owners, we are finally ready to debut this property for the 2012 Season.
Everything is new.....from landscaping and paint, to furniture and linens...and NOTHING BUT THE BEST! The linens are 500 ct. cotton, with thick plush bath towels to match. Nothing was left to the imagination. This is one of the premier vacation rentals available on the SUNNY west side of Kauai, within minutes of the famous Waimea Canyon and miles of white sand beaches.
Nowhere else on the island do you have the opportunity to view sunsets over the ocean, with wintering hump back whales breaching in the distance. The west side of Kauai is the least traveled and the least populated. However, savvy travelers are discovering the natural beauty of this side of the island.
Everything imaginable awaits you in Hale Laguna. Wide and spacious double lanais face the ocean and offer a comfortable spot to read a book, watch the sunset, and dine al fresco by the sea. Inside, the bedrooms offer air conditioning and a well-stocked kitchen to make food preparation as easy as the island lifestyle. The open and flexible floor plan offers families and couples traveling together an opportunity to spread out with plenty of private areas to get away from everyone else if you desire some quiet. No one will feel slighted with his or her bedroom and all them have King beds, or a conversion to twins if desired. Both bathrooms have luxurious walk-in showers featuring river rock, tile, and glass. There is a living room on each floor, and a kitchenettes (in addition to the main kitchen) so that each group can have their own floor with identical ocean side lanais.
On the upper main floor you'll find the master suite with a king-size bed and spectacular river rock shower which features dual shower heads. Sliding doors open to your covered, oceanside lanai. This is the perfect spot for watching the unforgettable displays of color each night as the sun sets over the ocean and in the winter months, it's your front row seat for watching the humpback whales that make Hawaii their winter home.
Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean while cooking in the fully stocked kitchen which features beautiful granite counter tops. The dining area seats 6 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. If you prefer to show off your grilling skills, the gas barbecue on the adjoining living area lanai, is also placed where you can watch the sunset as you fix a great meal. Both levels of the outside lanais also offer tables and seating so you can enjoy ocean front dining without even leaving home!
The upstairs living area has a 46" flat screen LCD TV, and DVD player. There is another flat screen 46 "LCD TV on the first level living area, as well as TVs in each of the master bedrooms. ALL BEDROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. We also have, high speed wireless internet, and FREE UNLIMITED long distance phone calling to anywhere in the US and Canada, so you will easily be able to stay connected throughout your stay.
There are two additional bedrooms on the first floor. A second master bedroom with a king size bed which walks out to the lower ocean side, and a full ocean view. The last bedroom has twin beds that can be made into a third king upon request. The downstairs also features an additional full bath, a combined living/dining room area, a lanai dining table with seating for 4, and plenty of room for lounging. The unique design of this house allows groups traveling together to still have their own separate living and sleeping areas, offering much more privacy than most vacation homes.

Beginning of 15 mile long stretch of white sand beach. Here there is a life guard, showers, picnic pavillions, and portable bathrooms. Located about 1 mile west of the house.
The road here takes you up to the Waimea Canyon and Kokee. Fabulous canyon views and miles of hiking opportunities.

Fabulous luxuriously spacious home. Accommodates 6 adults very comfortably. Whale watching from lanais great but bring binoculars. Expect some road and wave noise. Beautifully appointed and well equipped. Waimai Canyon and Poli Hale Beach both incredibly beautiful. Scott, property manager, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Recently renovated and new owner. Really good quality furnishings, beds & bedding, TVs etc. free phone for North America was a great hit. Manager Scott was a bonus. Very quick responses to all our questions. Lots of helpful suggestions on places to visit. The road between house and beach was not a deterrent despite fair traffic starting early morning. Incredible sunsets and cloud/ wave pictures. We were treated to several whale shows from the lanai Easy access to lots of beachs (Salt Pond our favorite- easy snorkeling, lots of fish to see) and to Waimea Canyon, and several little towns. House accommodated six of us easily. Highly recommend it

Pure Perfection!! Every detail about this house is amazing. The decor is right out of a magazine. All the comforts of home ( and more) are there for you. We enjoyed having 2 living areas for different activities and "separation time". The beds and furniture were as comfortable as they were beautiful. Everything was spotless, immaculate! The property manager and housekeeper were available at all times and very helpful with activity suggestions. We found more than enough to do (zip-lining, helicopter ride, tubing, golfing, shopping, sunset cruise, wonderful food, sightseeing road trips, a hula show etc.) with time left over to enjoy the comforts of the house and it's 2 huge lanais. The views from the lanais are spectacular with a gorgeous sunset each evening! Close to the town of Weimea, it is a little drive to other activities and areas (about 30 minutes) but well worth it to stay in such a house. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable, each with our own king size bed with AC in each bedroom and great mattresses. The listing prepresents very well the amenities, beauty and newness of this home. We also had a washer and dryer, all towels and linens provided ( excellent quality) and televisions in every room although we did not watch much TV in this paradise. We left a list with the property manager, of all the things we did and enjoyed. Also, wouldn't mind being contacted for more specific information if you are interested. We highly recommend this house for an unforgettable stay on the beautiful island of Kauai. We have been to all of the other islands and find this to be our favorite. It is more beautiful and less commercialized and in keeping with what we think of when we think of Hawaii. Already we have a list of more things to do on our next trip to Kauai that we couldn't fit in. There is nothing about this house or Kauai to not LOVE.

stayed May 10th 2008 for a week. We got married on the island. Our stay here was relaxed and fun. Chad is very professional. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking. master was very nice. Killer master shower. 2nd story lanai offered great views. buy the ultimate kauai guidebook or you will spend all your time driving not knowing where to go and how to get there. you must drive up and hike the canyon. It is incredible and near the house. smith luau, polihale state park (beach) close to house, DO NOT MISS. 100ft high dunes. everything else is a drive but worked great for us. This house is on the never rains/warmer side of the island. Snorkle at tunnels beach on your day trip to the north side. 7 days is not enough, much better than the more commercialized islands. This house easily does 6 people. lemon trees and flowering bushes, even your own rooster to get you going early. Thanks Chad for a great wedding accomodation. Joe and Sandra, now Weston too.
