  We loved staying at this cabin! The owners are nice to work with, and my emails were answered immediately! The cabin is well equipped for cooking and is very comfortable, with beautiful views out every window. It reminded me of cabins in Norway that we have stayed at with our Norwegian friends, quiet and remote. (although this cabin is only a short ski away from the Nordic Center!) Cross Country Skiers take note: the cabin is located directly on trail number 7, part of the Grand Tour and directly on Big Hosmer Lake. It is a perfect set up for skiing! We did not drive anywhere all week, and it was an unbelievable vacation! I recommend stopping at the Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier for your groceries, if you drive that way. We can't wait to go back at stay at this beautiful cabin again! Thank you Kathy and Ted for a wonderful week!

  My husband and I stayed here for a week in October after we got married. Eventhough we arrived in the middle of the night, the owners were gracious and happy to make sure we were settled. It has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful trip away from it all. Waking up to beautiful trees and the sound of the lake was soothing. We had a fire in the wood-burning stove, played cards, hiked, watched movies, and drove around Craftsbury Common. Again, make sure you eat early or grab a few groceries for the refrigerator. This is a wonderful place and we hope to return in the future.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  We stayed here on a last minute trip to VT on labor day weekend and had an excellent experience. Cabin owners were sweet, courteous and very hospitable (with lovely dogs!). The cabin is comfortable with tons of charm, everything you need. The lake is gorgeous; we went for an early morning canoe ride. It was just us and the loons for a short while before the activity center began their sculling session but there was plenty of lake to share! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a private, quiet weekend or longer stay. Make sure you plan to eat early in one of the nearby towns or bring snacks; there are not too many closeby dining options.

One night:  $120.00  Weekly:  650.00  
$10.00 per person extra charge for additional guests beyond two guests per night
Deposit of half of rental fee paid as deposit and the remaining half to be paid in
 upon arrival. If a week or less notice of rental, then total
  rent due at time of reservation. 100% refund of deposit if cancellation is made 
.two weeks prior to reservation.  If less than two weeks then refunds will be 50%
of deposit
