Planned and Built with Vacation Guests in Mind: First Floor has an open-kitchen to family room plan, guest powder room, desk area, master bedroom, and laundry. Also screened dining porch. Kitchen has all stainless appliances, large table that seats eight and a breakfast bar that seats four.
Fireplace and book shelves in family room. Comfortable seating and multiple gathering areas throughout home. Wireless Internet Access. Master bedroom with separate entrance to porch and spacious master bath.
Upstairs has second family room/children's lounge. Four bedrooms upstairs, one with two sets of built-in bunk beds. Bunk room is really special, has additional games and puzzles for keeping little ones busy!

I've stayed at Aloan a few times and each time was something special. The house alone is amazing and a fantastic setup when having a large group stay at the house. Just a short walk to the beach and when the weather was too cool for the beach we were happy hanging out by the pool and on the huge porch. The owners, the Johnson's, were always very helpful and kind and obviously take pride in their home as it shows inside and out. I highly recommend this rental to anyone. I look forward to my next stay at Aloan By the Sea!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We spent 6 nights at Aloan by the Sea with 4-5 families (one family only stayed half of the time). We had 8-10 adults and 3-6 kids. Each family had a bedroom and the babies (11-13 mos old) slept in their pack and plays in the rooms w/ the parents. We put baby gates on the steps and didn't have to worry about a thing w/ the kids. The pool was perfect, as was proximity to the beach. Some people traveling may not want to "pack in" as tightly as we did but it actually didn't feel tight at all. We were only in our bedrooms to sleep and the common areas (pool area, porches, den, kitchen, area under the house w/ swing, etc.) were large enough for all of us to enjoy group time together. In a perfect situation we would have only 4 families but in this case, we were with our church small group and wanted all of us to be there and we had stayed at this house before and loved it. One family was only there half of the week so it worked out well. The house is in great shape. This is the 5th time my husband and I have stayed there (previously with family instead of friends). We would definitely recommend this house to anyone for a family or friend vacation. The only thing the house "lacks" is an extra refrigerator. If one would fit in the entry area downstairs, it would be perfect for extra milk, drinks, etc. and to save some grocery trips. Some tiny extras that would be lovely to have in this house would be beach towels and extra kitchen towels. We cooked lunch and dinner daily and the 2 kitchen towels were not enough. As for the beach towels, it would be great for future trips not to have to pack beach towels, especially when flying. Other than those tiny recommendations, everything was perfect! We look forward to going again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had the most wonderful time in this lovely home in paradise. The home is exquisite; and the owners are the most accommodating hosts imaginable. We will definitely be returning. This is our second time visiting your lovely home. We found it just as enchanting as the last time. We love the location of your home on the island. We had 6 kids and 8 adults and we couldn't have asked for better accomodations. The home is furnished with anything you could use, especially for a large group. We had all of our meals there so we cannot comment on restaurants in the area. We did however buy seafood from Dails and it was great. We loved the porch for reading and just hanging while the kids were in pool. They couldn't wait to jump in that pool and play Marco Polo. Although some days were overcast and one day of rain we all had the time of our lives and were able to get great photos and made many memories. We also celebrated 3 birthdays there. We rented the house for 10 days and LOVED our experience there. The house was spotless and had excellent kitchen and dining accommodations and kitchenware. We definitely will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

First of all, thank you!!! We had a wonderful week at your beach home. It is beautiful, warm and so welcoming. We also wanted to tell you what a great job you did choosing the right company to work with. Resort Vacation Properties was first class in kindness and help during our stay (waterspout week!). Thanks for letting us share your beautiful beach home. We were surprised how spacious it was-loved the 2 living rooms. The kids played in the pool and or the beach, adults too. We had so much fun with the bikes. All of the restaurants on the island were great. I loved "That Place on 98" in Eastpoint. the seafood chowder and the key lime pie were the best we had.
