This Hawaiian plantation-style condo in the Fairway Villas resort complex is surrounded by the greens and fairways of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course. The King's Course is also nearby. We are centrally located across the lake from the Kings' Shops and within walking distance of the new Queen's Market Place. The beautiful crescent-shaped white sand beach of Anaeho'omalu Bay is a fifteen minute walk away. Hapuna and Kauna'oa (Mauna Kea), within a fifteen minute drive, are also picture perfect Hawaiian beaches.
Enjoy the newly retiled infinity edge pool with elevated rock spa overlooking the 9th hole and Kings' Lake, the fitness center, and the poolside gas barbecues. Shopping and dining are a short stroll away at the Kings' Shops or Queen's Market Place, where you can also enjoy complimentary Hawaiian crafts and entertainment.
Our two bedroom, two bathroom first floor Golf Villa offers a relaxing and convenient location to fully enjoy all the Big Island has to offer. It is decorated in tropical style with art and photographs from the islands.
Our condo provides many amenities including a complete kitchen with granite counter tops, stocked with high quality cookware, a full complement of large and small appliances and utensils, our favorite spices and cookbooks to make this your home away from home. If you prefer to eat out, we now offer our guests FREE use of a Dining Cards International (DCI) restaurant discount card with substantial discounts at many Big Island restaurants.
There is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom. The master bath includes an oversized soaking tub in addition to a separate glass and tiled shower, and double sinks in a marble counter. The guest bedroom has twin beds, which can be pushed together if preferred, and its own bathroom. A queen-sized sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more. Full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located in a hall closet. All linens, kitchen, bath and beach towels are provided. Both bedrooms have televisions.
The living room includes a large flat screen Sony HDTV, digital HD/DVR cable, DVD/VHS player, free high speed wireless/wired Internet access, and stereo. There is a large selection of mainly Hawaiian music CDs, movies for the entire family, island and reef documentaries. Enjoy our collection of guide books and books about Hawaiian culture, history and famous visitors. Relax under the ceiling fan on our lanai and watch the sunset or play a game or puzzle from our entertainment center. Enjoy the view of the 4th hole tee box and Kings' Lake, with Hualalai Mountain as the backdrop. Mauna Loa can also be seen in the distance.
This is our Hawaiian home, and we have furnished it with everything we appreciate during a long stay. We think you will enjoy it too.

Why the Owner Chose Fairway Villas
We had been vacationing on several Hawaiian Islands every few years beginning in 1984, when we visited Maui. Although all the Hawaiian islands are beautiful, we decided that Hawaii is our favorite. It is the biggest, the most diverse, with the volcanoes, beautiful beaches, tropical rain forest, ranchland, and coffee farms, many activities and great restaurants. The Kohala Coast, where our condo is located, has the best beaches, some of the best restaurants, and is relatively uncrowded. So when we were ready to retire, it was a natural choice for our second home.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The greatest benefits are the oceans,beaches,beauty and weather of Hawaii. We can enjoy the weather and the view, including beautiful sunsets, directly from our lanai. Our condo is well located, so whether we want to scuba, snorkel, swim, just lay on the beach, or go out to eat, it's a walk or a short drive away. Although we're not golfers, when our son visited with his family, we could talk to him from our Lanai as he teed off on the Waikoloa Beach Course. And for those days we just want to stay in our condo has everything we need to cook our own meals and entertain ourselves.

We were fortunate enough to stay at this unit for 3 weeks in March 2011. The description and photos on the listing do not do the unit justice. As soon as we walked thru the door, we felt as if we had returned home. The furnishings are perfect and the overall decor is warm and inviting.The unit is immaculate, fully equipped. Our most favorite place on the island to dine was right on the lanai. Sitting outside enjoying the views of the fairways,listening to the birds and watching the sunset is a delight. The entire complex is well maintained and the constant attention by the maintenance staff is commendable.The pool and barbecue area are an additional bonus and is spotless at all times. Overall, a beautiful and tastefully appointed condo. We can not wait to return to the Big Island and this unit, but this time for more than 3 weeks. The best of the best !!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Here is our comment & thanks again : My husband & I were celebrating our 20th anniversary & our daughter was graduating from High School. We knew we wanted to visit the Big Island. I found out about The Waikoloa Villas & looked at them to see which of the 3 villa groupings was closest to shopping, restaurants & the ocean. It was Fairway Villas ! Their web-site made it easy to look through ALL the available condos & find our perfect" fit" ! N-3 ! Building N , unit 3. It is owned by the Taillon's . An extremely nice (& helpful) couple from New Jersey. Everything went smoothly & we arrived to find the beautiful & comfortably decorated condo, just as it was on the web-site, but much better in reality ! It was clean , had all neccesary items & was walking distance to everything ! The pool was perfect & beautiful. The grounds are kept very tidy . We walked around hthe Villas & the fact that this condo faces the water ( the 4th green) makes a big difference in temperature. It was very comfortable, enough so to leave the air off & have the slider open. The only problem we encountered was that the handle from the sliding glass door was broken off & laying on the kitchen counter , upon our arrival. Oh, and once someone parked in our designated spot. We called the ph.# that was left for problem solving & it was taken care of within the next 10 minutes ! Amazing ! We will return to this condo ! We whole heartedly reccomend this location !

Let me first start off with that my wife and I really liked the area and the unit; it was true to what was advertised. It was very tastefully decorated and felt like a home, not an investment rental. We also really appreciated the higher quality items throughout the unit. It confirmed that we made the right decision to rent this condo rather than getting a room at a nearby resort. For those of you not familiar with the Big Island, Waikoloa Beach Resort is a resort area next to the ocean and should not be confused with Waikoloa Village which is a town six miles inland and at about 1000’ elevation. This area of the island is called the Kohala District. Most of the Kohala District gets very little rainfall and is pretty much a desert between the Kona Airport and Hawi, and inland until you get to Waimea. The resort areas, Waikoloa Beach and Mauna Lani, are very green with trees, grass and plants. You should drive up to Hawi (about 30 minutes away) and see how in a blink of the eye it transitions from desert to a lush green area. Also plan to stop and eat at Bamboo’s in Hawi. We would have given this rental a 5 star had it not been for the following items: 1. Uncomfortable seating on the lana’i (no padded chairs) 2. Master bedroom mattress sagged a little on one side 3. The thick, soft towels were bleached stained 4. Lacks good storage space in the second bedroom That being said, and yes we might be a bit picky, we still recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. This trip actually inspired us to come up with a plan to purchase a retirement place in this area.
