REASONS YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE ON YOUR NEXT UTAH SKI TRIP. (PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR FEEDBACK!)
REASON 1: LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! You can’t beat the location. You are less then four minutes away from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon- home to Snowbird and Alta and less then two minutes away from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon- home to Solitude and Brighton. (Within 13 to 18 minutes total drive time to four of Utah's greatest ski resorts). THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE: Sometimes during the ski season when it really dumps, Alta and Snowbird get enough snow that they are forced to close down the canyon road for several hours due to avalanche control. This is not the case with the resorts in Big Cottonwood Canyon, on these days you can just as easily make the decision to ski Solitude and Brighton avoiding Little Cottonwood Canyon closure. You get to do what you came here to do independent of the weather which is great news for you!
DON’T FEEL LIKE DRIVING? Take the ski shuttle bus from the mouth of either canyon. It costs just a few bucks and takes you straight to your destination.
You are also within walking distance of the super-market, and just a few minutes away from local fun ski-hangouts such as The Canyon Inn, Hogs Wallow, and Porcipine Grill, as well as ski and board shops, shopping, movies, coffee shops, and the freeway entrance.
Feel like our four famous resorts haven’t completely scratched that skiing itch? Jump in the car and drive 30 minutes up to Deer Valley, The Canyons, and Park City Mountain Resort, home of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Park City is a fabulous resort town, a destination definitely worth checking out during your stay in Utah.
REASON 2: HOME HAS LOTS OF ROOM AND STYLE. Enjoy nearly 3,000 square feet of open, spacious living with 20’ tall ceilings, two dining areas, a huge loft area with vaulted ceiling for entertaining. Complete with 55" big screen TV, luxury leather sofas, foosball table, pool table and if you feel like working out you can flex your muscles on your personal complete home gym equipment. Everything you need to keep you entertained and satisfied when you are not skiing the slopes.
REASON 3: CHARMING KITCHEN.Entertain your guests or cook your own gourmet feast in a fully-equipped, stocked kitchen. Beautiful granite counter tops, double door stainless steel fridge with ice maker, double door oven for baking/broiling multiple dishes at a time, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, tea kettle, coffee maker, blender, etc. As well as everything from wine glasses, martini glasses, champagne flutes, mugs for coffee or hot cocoa, dishes, utensils, and silverware.
REASON 4: COME AND SIT BY THE FIRE. After getting in from the winter cold, after a satisfying day of winter skiing, come and unwind in the large den area by the roasty, warm, cozy fire. Read a book, relax, have a glass of wine or listen to some music. Ahhhh, true comfort.
REASON 5: SLEEPING CONFIGURATIONS. Slip into a comfortable, coazy bed in your own personal corner of the house. The bed configurations are as follows:
BEDROOM 1: Master Bedroom Suite: One king- sleeps two.
BEDROOM 2: One queen- sleeps two.
BEDROOM 3: One Full- sleeps two.
BEDROOM 4: Informal bedroom in loft area provides a futon that turns into a double bed.
House is designed to comfortably sleep up to 8 people.
