REASON 1: LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! You can’t beat the location. You are less then four minutes away from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon- home to Snowbird and Alta and less then two minutes away from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon- home to Solitude and Brighton. (Within 13 to 18 minutes total drive time to four of Utah's greatest ski resorts). THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE: Sometimes during the ski season when it really dumps, Alta and Snowbird get enough snow that they are forced to close down the canyon road for several hours due to avalanche control. This is not the case with the resorts in Big Cottonwood Canyon, on these days you can just as easily make the decision to ski Solitude and Brighton avoiding Little Cottonwood Canyon closure. You get to do what you came here to do independent of the weather which is great news for you!

DON’T FEEL LIKE DRIVING? Take the ski shuttle bus from the mouth of either canyon. It costs just a few bucks and takes you straight to your destination.

You are also within walking distance of the super-market, and just a few minutes away from local fun ski-hangouts such as The Canyon Inn, Hogs Wallow, and Porcipine Grill, as well as ski and board shops, shopping, movies, coffee shops, and the freeway entrance.

Feel like our four famous resorts haven’t completely scratched that skiing itch? Jump in the car and drive 30 minutes up to Deer Valley, The Canyons, and Park City Mountain Resort, home of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Park City is a fabulous resort town, a destination definitely worth checking out during your stay in Utah.

  • Had a wonderful stay at Marzena's beautiful home just recently in December 2008. Our group was in search of a ski home for our first SLC mountain trip and everything with the rental and home was excellent! The location is just right to reach multiple resorts, the kitchen and all the amenities were really nice, the game room was a fun addition to the trip and the relaxing living room and family rooms and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. All and all, everyone in our group had a great stay and would for surely choose to rent again for our next SLC adventure, hopefully soon!!

  • This house was a perfect spot to stay for a ski trip to Snowbird & Alta. I was between jobs and could not have asked for a better vacation. The house was very spacious for our group and only a short ride to town and the mountains. The only downside was I lost my wedding ring in the snow outside the house. Amazingly, when the snow melted off, Marzena found my ring and mailed it to me back. Talk about customer service... In sum, renting this house was not only a great place to stay, but the folks you deal with are wonderful and make your vacation that much more pleasant. I would definitely go back...

  • What a wonderful place to stay!! This was our fourth visit to the Salt Lake ski resorts and this house was by far the nicest rental we have stayed in. It is beautifully furnished, has a nicely stocked kitchen and a ton of amenities --yes, pool table and foosball (which were a huge hit with both kids and adults), the giant screen TV and and of course the hot tub! The location is just fantastic --we skied Solitude, Alta, Snowbird, which are really close, but also Park City which was a mere 35 minutes away. On our day off from skiing we went to Antelope Island. All were very convenient to the house. We were also quite impressed with how quickly any questions or concerns we had were addressed. Thank you for a phenomenal trip --we'd love to come back next year.

  • This is a beautiful home and very roomy with plenty of space for sleeping and entertaining. The Game room upstairs was fantastic with pool and fooseball table including workout gym and large 52" TV for watching movies. We stayed there during Presidents week with my 2 boys and their 2 cousins and had a blast. Very nice kitchen and Living Room as well and tri-level home with large lot and jacuzzi out back. Beautiful panoramic view of the city and very good location in nice neighborhood. If you want to stay in the Cottonwood Heights area, this house is a very good spot for skiing Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude. Takes about 20 minutes to each resort without traffic and add an additional 20 minutes with snow. Park City is 45 min to one hour, not a bad drive at all. Back to the house...the kitchen is very modern and quite beautiful, just like staying in someone's home. The house is QUITE large with three levels and 3 nice bedrooms that sleep 9 and additonal foutons in the game room. The hot tub is awesome and great for the muscles after a long day on the slopes! Included is high speed wireless internet that worked very well during the 1 week stay. The linens and goose-down comforters kept everyone comfortable throughout the night and heated just right. The entire house is tastefully decorated. The VIEWS from the house are simple breathtaking. Very romantic when it snows. I can't say enough good things about this place. Enjoy your stay at this wonderful home. We will be back again.

  • Where to start? This house is even BETTER than described on the website. What a beautiful home, every aspect. Pure comfort. I stayed there in Feb with three other guys on a "guys" ski trip. If you want to stay in the Cottonwood Heights area, this house is a very good spot for skiing Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude. With no traffic, you are looking at 20 minutes to each resort. If it is snowing (as it was for us), it will take longer. But it is SO worth it to come home (I call it home, because it feels like home!) to such a comfortable place. Park City is 45 min to one hour, not a bad drive at all. Back to the house...the kitchen is very modern and quite beautiful, just like staying in someone's home. A much better option than going out to eat is to buy groceries at local grocery store (one mile away) and cook in this well-stocked kitchen. The house is QUITE large (basically three levels). The HOT TUB is AMAZING and so is the view! 105 degrees--great for the muscles after a long day on the slopes! SO QUIET and relaxing here! The multiple dining areas are beautifully decorated and perfect for having a nice dinner or quick snack. The wireless internet worked FLAWLESSLY. The pool table and fooseball tables were so much fun -- great for people who love games (as do I). The linens and goose-down comforters kept everyone comfortable throughout the night. The entire house is tastefully decorated. The VIEWS from the house are simple breathtaking. Very romantic when it snows. I can't say enough good things about this place. Treat yourself well -- stay here!!!!

  • Our Ski trip on 1/17 went off without a hitch thanks to the excellent hospitality and luxury accomodations. This is a good condo choice if you have a car as it is located in a residential area at the base of little and big cottonwood canyons. Anticipate about a 20 minute drive to Alta, Snovbird and Solitude at 35 miles an hour. It is about 35 minutes to Park City via the interstate. I recommend this rental over any other in the area due to the meticulous detail and full direct TV on the Big Screen TV, pool table and excerise station. Three bedrooms, but really four with the two futons upstairs. I will Stay again.

  • We had a wonderful stay and the place was exceptional. The hot tub then the big screen TV provided just the right relaxation after the big days of skiing. The kitchen was so well stocked we could cook and make breakfast so easily. The location is perfect for skiing as it is only about 10 miles to Snow Bird and Alta. With a grocery store just around the corner and a ski rental place about a two miles away one couldn't ask for a better location. Hope to be back in SLC again and will definitely keep this place as our home away from home. Thank you for being such a great contact for the place.

  • What a great place for a skiing vacation in Utah. My wife and kids (10,9) really enjoyed this cabin. We went with another family of 4 to vacation over the Christmass holidays and we were very pleased. The cabin is spacious, newly remodeled, and comfortable. We loved that the kids had the large playroom upstairs. They used it a lot. The adults spent time in the living room downstairs in front of the fireplace (with TV). A couple nights we used the hot tub after skiing and it was hot and enjoyable. The views are awesome. There is a supermarket a mile away and it is very close to all the Cottonwood skiing areas. We were able to fit both families in the 3 bedrooms and the 2 full bathrooms were more than sufficient for us. I am sure we will be back to this place. I really recommend it!
