The photographs simply do not do this propery justice. Perfect decor, more than enough space, great kitchen and the crown jewel ... the large balcony overlooking the pool and Sea of Cortez. Villa La Estancia is an exceptional property .... 5 Star all the way with a professional and even more important very friendly team to make the stay as fantastic as possible. Kris we can not say enough about your attention to detail and how much it means to you that your guests have a great holiday. It does not go unnoticed. Already planning next winter's trip to this amazing villa.

This is a five star condo at Estancia .... No doubt about it !!!! Chris is wonderful to deal with and makes sure that you are taken care of from the day that you book with him and throughout your trip. Imagine our surprise to receive a call from him on our arrival day to be sure everything was ok and did we have any questions. The condo is very well appointed and the only thing you will need to bring is your toothbrush, lotion, and a good book !!! We loved having wireless connection, cable tv with all US stations, and the free calling back to the states !!!! The resort is very well taken care of and the staff is very friendly .... I don't think that there are very many places that you can call home but somehow Chris has managed to create one of those special places !!!! Chris we can't thank you enough for everything and we are looking forward to our return trip to Cabo !!!

An incredible resort and amazing condo. High-end, with all the mod cons and great views of the pool and Sea Of Cortez. You couldn't ask for a better host in Kris - attentive to your every need. Ran out of gas on the outdoor BBQ - a quick call and the tank was replaced with a fresh one. 1st class service in a first class resort. We will definitely be back - thanks again Kris!

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous!!! From start to finish we couldn't have asked for anything more. This is our second stay at La Estancia and our first in Kris's unit. He was wonderful to deal with and made sure to check in with us before, during and after our stay. His unit is very lovely, the decor is beautiful and we loved the personal photos. We had everything we needed and then some. We really liked having the morning sun rather then the afternoon.We spent many afternoons on the spacious deck. La Estancia and their staff were wonderful as always. We just love walking to the lobby and having a taxi at our fingertips. Now that is great sevice. We travel quite frequently and I have to say that the staff is the finest I have ever experienced. I like the security of it being gated as well as security at every entrance. Thanks Kris, can't wait to be back next year.

Wow! This place is AMAZING

My husband and I stayd here over Labor Day week and I cannot tell you how gorgous the unit is. You can really feel like you are living in luxruy, but still comfortable with all the amentities you can imagine. The deck is huge with an amazing view of the pool and ocean and in general, the grounds are nothing less than perfection. Kris was so nice and responsive and just a true pleasure to work with. I would recommend this to any friend or family member! Not to mention that Cabo is HEAVEN!

Extraordinary Unit in Cabo!!

Stayed in this unit at Villa La Etancia in July 2011. What can I say, the place is fabulous. The owners have furnished the unit superbly, with very upscale furnishings, great flat screen tvs. We had both the units A&B and it comfortably slept 5 of us and can handle even more. The photos are accurate, but it is even better in person. The minute you walk in, you will not want to leave. And the owners are so helpful, and responsive to any need/question you may have. For example, there is a great gas BBQ on the deck. It ran out of propane, and I sent an email to the owner just to let him know, and, in 15 minutes, the hotel staff was there at the door with a fresh tank. The view from the terrace is wonderful, overlooking the pools below and the ocean. The unit is fully equipped with a great kitchen with all cooking utensils, etc. and the deck overlooking the pools is massive. If you are going to Cabo, you will not find a better place at the rates provided. Cabo is a special place, this unit is also very special. I have stayed in many places in Mexico, Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, etc. and his is probably the nicest place I have stayed. You will not be disappointed. I wish I never had to leave.

Best Vacation EVER!!!

This villa and this place provided the best experiences I could ever hope for for my family and I. This was our best family vacation EVER!!! The condo is a combination of class, comfort and convenience. As soon as we walked through the door the wow factor blew us away. The layout of a kitchen with great appliances was a nice surprise, a laundry room for those who want to pack less and all of the amenities of home made for less hassle and more time to enjoy the amazing view from a spacious and relaxing patio. You can also utilize the local grocery delivery service which was a huge time saver. Grilling in for a few dinners at the condo on the this exquisite patio with the provided barbeque grill was a nice touch and cost saver. Satellite TV and free US phone service and fast wireless internet provides the business trvaeler opportunities to stay connected to your business as needed. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms and closet space are way beyond anything you will seen at other condos. This place is more like a home than a vacation condo. You will also be able to review very useful tips on activities, restaurants and useful local knowledge from the owner. Read his instructions and follow them. This is a value-added plus from an owner who really wants you to EXPERIENCE your vacation. La Estancia has a customer focused staff and everywhere we went at the resort and beyond there was a culture of 'YES'. The property is exceptionally well maintained and the pool, the view and the beach are sure to draw you in. Oh yea, and the weather was perfect every single day with 95 degree days with low humidity and a pleasant ocean breeze and open blue skies. If you want to just sit, read a book, hang out by the pool or the beach this is the place for you. But, if you love phyical activities along with a vibrant Cabo nightlife it is all available to you at La Estancia. Just ask the helpful staff. This rating system only allows me to rate this as a 5. It is better than a 5! This is simply a better place, a better atmosphere and a better vacation spot than we have ever experienced!!!

My husband, son and I spent 7 wonderful days here at the beginning of June. You know you're somewhere special from the moment you step into the condo. All the conveniences of home but with a fantastic deck and view, a few steps from the pool and ocean. The only challenge we had was where do we to sit to read our books or snooze: the deck, the pool or the beach? The breeze every evening and the sound of the surf every night was so relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped and we had our coffee on the deck every morning. We took a sunset cruise and went snorkeling in Cabo, which is only a 10 minute cab ride away. We'll be back!

Unbelievable Location

This is our 2nd trip to Cabo-our first @ Estancia. The pictures don't even begin to show how upscale this property really is. Furnishings are top quality and very comfortable. The best thing about staying here is the hospitality that Kris demonstrates by assuring that you have everything you need & is only a phone call away. Fishing on his boat is a must.. we ate what we caught...grilling & eating on the fabulous balacony. Some question the safety of Mexico.. be assured that everyone in Cabo is friendly and safety was never an issue from the time we stepped off the plane until we left for home again. It's a wonderful experience and we will be back.

Slice of Heaven in Cabo!

This stunning condo at Estancia is decorated to perfection, with gorgeous views overlooking the beautiful ocean to the famous arch and Lovers Beach. On the 3rd floor, it's so convenient to walk the stairs, and condo is right there, it was awesome!! It has a beautiful walking beach with wonderful restaurants, Medano Beach Club is our favorite, and just a little beyond that is the Marina with shops, more restaurants, and fun. It's totally safe, clean, and a perfect place to get away!! Kris was a wonderful host, calling us and checking in to make sure everything was ok. It was nice to have that personal touch, because we were in his home after all!! The huge deck offers even more space to enjoy the beauty of Cabo! We are definitely coming back next year!!!

AMAZING !!!!! there is no other word to explain it. Estancia is perfection, staff is exceptional very friendly and helpful. Kris your place, the pictures do not do it justice at all. It was phenominal, great for some R&R... We brought our 10 year old daughter and she had a blast at the pool. We also took Kris' boat out two days, we caught grouper and tuna which was yummy for dinner. Our daughters favorite was bringing the boat back to dock and the sea lions would come right up to the back of the boat to eat the leftover bait fish we were throwing out. It was great having Kris available if needed, and his suggestions for restaurants were very helpful. We had such a great time, we've already booked for next October to come back for our honeymoon.

what a great villa! there were 5 of us total and theres plenty of room for a couple more. the furnishings are what you would expect at a high end resort. the balcony is huge even though we did not take advantage of it, there is a bbq and fridge outside also. My girlfriend would have loved the master suite especially the jacuzzi tub. We took advantage of Kris' boat as well.Very nice and clean his captain Javier and deck hand Victor were friendly and very helpful. We had 2 great days of fishing yellowfin tuna and red snapper. All of the staff we had contact with was friendly and very helpful. There was no timeshare pressure at all and the grounds were kept perfectly. We are already talking about going back this October. Thanks again Kris.

Kris's appt in villa la estancia is beautiful and great for a family with 2 very separate bedrooms and high end amenities. Great balcony with view of pool and ocean and we used the gas grill out there to cook some fish we caught on Kris's boat. Highly recommended! Thank you Kris.

5 Star perfection in Cabo

Our Thanksgiving holiday was absolutely perfect thanks to the amazing villa owned by Kris Anderson at La Estancia. The place is beautifully decorated, spotless and felt like we were in someone's home, not a hotel room. We had 3 adults and two teenagers with us and we had so much room! The extra touches to this villa make it unbeatable. My other family members stayed in another unit (so we compared), and this was clearly not just a rental property. The view and location of the unit was perfect! The large balcony with BBQ was our retreat after dinner every night. Villa has a flat screen TV in each room, DVD player, stereo, and even a collection of great DVDs to watch. The location of the resort is excellent, on the main beach of Cabo, and a short walk into town (or an inexpensive cab ride). The service is 5 star, and anything you may need is at your fingertips. Kris made sure our trip was perfect from the time I made the reservation until the very end! I have been to Cabo countless times, stayed at, at least 10 different hotels. This will be our new home away from home when we visit Cabo.

Absolutely Amazing Holiday!

We were pleasantly surprised with Kris' condo. It truly was a "home away from home". From the check in process at the front desk, right until we checked out the service was excellent. The restaurants, pool bar, spa, maid service and bell service were truly top notch 5 star quality. As for the condo itself, you have done as absolute amazing job with all aspects. From the very start, Kris, you were a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. The phone calls & texts were also greatly appreciated. We have rented through VRBO many times, but have never been this pleased. We all fell in love with Cabo, and are already looking forward to our next visit. Pefect Place to Stay in Cabo

Wow, where do I start? What a great place to stay. The Villa La Estancia truly is a first-class, 5-star resort style condo and Kris's personal touch made this a wonderful vacation for our entire family. Beautiful beaches, wonderful swimming pools, luxury accommodations and an incredible porch on this villa make this a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your vacation. I think we used the BBQ grill on the porch 3 or 4 times, including grilling steaks (from nearby Wal-Mart) and fresh fish tacos (Wahoo and Dorado) that we caught aboard Kris's 31' Cabo Express. We were fortunate enough to take 2 fishing trips on the "Rising Sun" and had a wonderful time! Great Captain and crew that really worked hard and make the trip fun! 3 Dorado (up to 45lbs) and one small Yellowfin Tuna the first day and 3 Wahoo (largest was 50lbs) the 2nd day! What a neat boat, great ride, great music and first class equipment! I would highly recommend reserving the boat for at least 1 day of fishing. We also brought fresh Wahoo steaks back to the restaurant at the resort and the head Chef (Big Wahoo fan) made us an incredible dinner. (Wahoo Sashimi, Ceviche, Grilled, Blackened and Lightly Batter Fried… It has to be one of the best meals I have ever enjoyed! Really over the top, and very reasonably priced with all the sides and desserts) Thanks again Kris for a Great Trip! Can't wait to get back next year!

Villa La Estancia is a beautiful resort and this particular Villa is SPECTACULAR. Spacious, luxurious, beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. It exceeded our expectations. Photos on the website look great, but it's way better than the photos! HUGE terrace with a great view, many owner-added extras including flat panel satellite TV's in every room and high speed Internet. We spent 8 days here and can't wait to go back. There were 5 of us; two adults in our 50's with three others between 18 and 20 yrs. old. Kris was very friendly and extremely helpful. He called before we arrived and provided a lot of valuable information and tips. He called again after we arrived to make sure everything was perfect. We went scuba diving, rode ATV's and wave runners, swam with the dolphins and soaked up the sun. We ate at several of Kris’s restaurant suggestions and each one proved to be a delicious experience. The staff at the resort are very friendly and eager to help. Pool is great, beach is great. We did not have a car but didn't need one as we went back and forth to the marina by taxi cab and/or water taxi. It all added up to an incredible Cabo experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy every minute of their vacation.

Amazing Time in Cabo!

I went down with a group of 8 people May 19-24 and am finally getting around to writing a review. 4 friends stayed in a different villa on the property while 4 of us stayed in this unit and we were EXTREMELY happy that we'd chosen this one. From the minute we walked in, it felt like home. Kris was great to work with, very friendly, informative and flexible. All the pointers he gave us were dead on. Needless to say, we had a blast and loved, loved, loved the villa. When our friends came over from theirs, they were stunned at how gorgeous the place was (their unit was not renovated) and hung out at our villa every chance they got. Kris - thank you again for an amazing experience. Whenever we're back in Cabo, this is the only place we'll stay.

Relaxing Getaway

We wish we were still there! An absolutely beatiful home and a wonderful overall facility. My wife and I have a very relaxing getaway from work and children. Kris was absolutely fabulous to work with, and even called us while we were in Cabo to make sure everything was going okay. We tried three or four of his restaurant recommendations and they were all wonderful. We will recommend to our friends, and can not wait until we return.

The pictures are beautiful but even they don't do this place justice. We have stayed at many luxury resorts throughout the world. This is the best! If you have discriminate taste, you will not be disappointed. Everything was top notch. Location-perfect! Balcony-HUGE and perfect! Very friendly staff. Kris is so easy to get ahold of via email or phone. We even spoke with him while we were there. Decided to take out his boat and use his crew (also FANTASTIC! and so fun.) This was defintely the highlight of our trip and we have awesome memories because of it. (***Take dramamine even if you have your sea legs! Sometimes the sea is rough.) Even if you don't fish, don't pass this up. You will see whales, feed Pancho (the sealion) on the way back, catch a Dorado and bring it back to La Estancia where they prepared a special meal for us. Best vacation ever! We will not stay anywhere else except this unit when we visit Cabo. Our Cabo trips will forever be planned around this specific unit. I wouldn't dare stay somewhere else and risk disappointment. Feel free to contact me for pictures, more comments, anything you'd like. I just can't say enough about this place!

Dear Kris, What a perfect way to spend Christmas--escaping snowy Michigan to guaranteed sunshine! We loved your spot with the comfy couch and beautiful amenities. The staff was great and the grounds are beautiful. The guacamole and the pico de gallo at the deli are to die for! We all had massages overlooking lands end--we thought they were great too. Kris - Our time in your beautiful Cabo home could not have been more perfect. The unit itself is amazing - it's very obvious that you and your wife took great care in decorating it. Your suggestions regarding local restaurants, places to visit, etc. were spot on. We rented your boat one day - what a treat. We saw dolphins, a whale and sea lions. How can I describe this place? Absolutely Amazing! We always try to go throught VRBO and this is by far the nicest place we have ever been. I didn't want to come home. Kris, We had a wonderful time staying in the villa. The villa is spacious and beautifully decorated. Every amenity we could have wanted was there. We especially enjoyed the private balcony. In fact, Tony slept out there almost every night. The staff at La Estancia were wonderful and accommodating. During the days, we enjoyed lounging by the pool and shopping. This is definitely a five star place. Location was perfect. Not too crowded, and it was so easy to get to town. Tony also enjoyed the deep sea fishing. Thanks again for a fabulous vacation. We celebrated our 28th anniversary here from 4/26/08 through 5/3/08. Kris, your property is amazing. The view is stunning and the villa is decorated wonderfully. Our experience there was great. Every evening as we sat on the balcony we were treated to a concert by a talented saxophonist at the restaurant downstairs. All your dining recommendations provided very good experiences. We had a great day fishing and sightseeing on your boat. It and your crew is beyond believe. Toni caught a huge "manfish" at The Giggling Marlin and I had to drink the 3 upsidedown tequila shots to prove it. I had to endure the required day of street shopping. It was fine once I found The Monkey Business Bar and took refuge there. I will return to Cabo and to Villa La Estancia.

We stayed in this unit for a week in March 2008. It is a wonderful unit -- clean, well maintained and extremely well furnished,with substantial upgrades over the developer's original furniture package. Kris is a great host as well. He gave us lots of useful info before we arrived and called to make sure we were doing okay after we arrived. Villa La Estancia is a wonderful property -- great pools and beach for the kids, beautiful grounds, good fitness facilities and nice restuarants. It's also very convenient to town. Short walk to many restaurants via the beach or a short cab ride. No need for a rental car. Most important for us, it's a great family place. Our kids made friends early in the trip and had a blast. We will return.

Not only is Kris wonderful to work with, his villa is the most beautiful place me and my friends have ever stayed in! The accomadations were perfect for me and 5 of my girlfriends - ages ranging between 28 and 36. the location was excellent - quiet enough in the day for us to relax and close to town via cab at night if we wanted to get a little crazy! I couldn't have wished for a better vacation!

We stayed in Chris's condo for the week of Feb 08-15 with our three young children 6,4,2 and had the absolute best vacation we have ever had as a family. The pictures on this site do not do the condo justice. For those of you who are used to the best this is the condo for you. Three big plasma TV's, great decor and more than enough room for all of us. The proximity of the condo in relation to the pool and elevator is great and the service at the resort was great. We have travelled through Mexico extensively and found the staff at the Estancia and the two sister resorts to be more friendly and eager to help than any where else we've been. Chris made everything from the initial contact, to payment, and follow up very easy and was very pleasant to deal with. We will definitely be back at this resort, and specifically Chris's condo again.

We stayed in this unit the end of February, 2008, and had a wonderful time. The villa is remarkable, beautifully furnished - unique! The weather was fantastic and we were fortunate to be able to see the whales! Obviously, there are thousands of places you could stay, but I would recommend this villa to anyone. The amenities are excellent. Believe it or not, we even used the washer and dryer - even though we didn't want to do laundry! Kris (the villa owner) is great to work with and gives good pointers for those new to Cabo. We're looking forward to the next trip, and would love to stay in this villa again.

My family of 4 just stayed in this condo. Villa La Estancia is beautiful and the unit is spectacular. Spacious, well-equipped, comfortable. Great location within the complex with a great view. Beautifully furnished with every amenity (LCD TVs in every room, US satellite, DVD player, WiFi, washer/dryer, blender, juicer...). This is the nicest of the 3 Villa properties (you have access to the other ones too), great beach and pools, plenty of lounge chairs, nice hot tubs, nice gym and spa, friendly staff. I could go on, but suffice is to say, you'll love it. We rented a car which could be valeted or parked in the underground garage. You could also walk up the beach to restaurants and right into Cabo.

For all of you looking for a great place to stay in Cabo this is it. My girlfriend her Mom and I just got back. The owner Kris has Heavily upgraded the unit, furniture is way nicer than the standard units and there are even flat screens in every room! The View from the unit is great and The Villa Estancia is top notch. If you haven't been to Cabo, all I am going to say is this "you get what you pay for". 5 star resort, no time share hustle, Upgraded Unit, unbelievable amenities, your crazy not to rent this unit at Estancia.

Just one word summs it all up - excellent. What a beautiful property! We bbq'd on the balcony, enjoyed the swim-up bar in the main pool, proximity to downtown was great, and we had an incredible offshore fishing day with lots of hook ups! What a great vacation!! We will be back!!!
