Discover The Dirtyface Lodge, a spacious and inviting mountain retreat at the base of Dirty Face Mountain with quick and easy access to many area attractions including the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA. The old world craftsmanship of cedar and stone combined with modern amenities makes the Dirtyface Lodge an exceptional and unique property.
The Dirtyface Lodge is situated on 3 wooded acres in the desirable Whispering Pines neighborhood with over 5,000 square feet and 10 well-appointed private bedrooms that can easily accommodate corporate retreats, family reunions, large family gatherings, small weddings or just a mountain getaway.
With 6 King log beds, 3 Queen beds, 2 twins, 2 bunkbeds, and 1 foldaway bed, there are endless configurations that will accommodate any small or large group.
There are two massive and cozy fireplaces, a large and inviting great room, fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, a sitting room with large dining table, and a covered 8 person hot tub and large sparkling pool.
We have two plasma TV/DVD/VCR players and an expansive movie library. A covered sitting porch to take in the mountain air and gaze at the stars is located on the second floor. Lastly, there is also a reading balcony with chairs and large book library.
We take pride in The Dirtyface Lodge and love it for our own family events. There is a legacy at The Dirtyface Lodge. Many families come year after year to reunite, gather, and explore. We will do everything we can to create the same lasting memories for you as well.

Snow Activities:
We are an easy 20 minute drive to one of the best ski slopes in Washington State, Stevens Pass. We are in walking distance to Wenatchee National Forest with hundreds of miles of snowmobiling and groomed cross-country skiing and sledding. Leavenworth has an affordable "ski hill" that is ideal for kids with beginner level rope tows and an intermediate level tube hill. It is also a base point for cross country ski trails.
Fishing:
We are in easy walking distance to Lake Wenatchee and 5 minutes from Fish Lake, known for it's feisty rainbow and large brown trout. The Wenatchee River, just re-opened for Steelhead fishing after a 15 year hiatus, runs throughout the area, not to mention hundreds of mountain lakes and streams within a 30 mile radius.
Hiking:
Hiking opportunities are endless. Trail heads are along the ridges, rivers and lakes throughout Chelan County. You can take in some amazing views of the picturesque Alp-like Cascade Range that surrounds Leavenworth. Literally some of the best hiking the Pacific Northwest has to offer is right out Dirty Face Lodge’s door.
Shopping:
The famous Bavarian town of Leavenworth is just minutes away. There are over 100 shops with a little something for everyone. Stores include international trade, food (chocolates, wine, cheese, bratwurst, etc.), art, clothes, and the unique!
Relaxing:
The lodge has 2 massive stone fireplaces to warm your feet. The hot tub is always ready to offer a relaxing dip year round. The sparkling aqua pool is an ideal place to float during our hot spring and summers.

The Unique Benefits at this Lodge
We love the lodge for its ability to bring many family members or friends together under one roof. We personally love the warmth and family feel the lodge provides us.
Excellent area for sledding for children of young ages. Also great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and hiking in the summer!
World Famous Bavarian Town! Very family friendly. Many shops and restaurants to choose from. Many festivals going on every week. Look for sleeding hill in winter and art festivals in summer.
Great skiing hill for beginners, young children, or those just looking for some quick and affordable skiing. $10 pass a day per person is tough to beat. Sledding, Skiing, Cross Country trails.

We have a growing family and wanted to provide a place where they can all gather, have fun, and make lasting memories. We also wanted to continue sharing the lodge with others since it has had such a rich history of loyal visitors!

Anyone looking for a great place for a large group, this is it! You still have the privacy of your own bedroom and the large kitchen, dining and living rooms for group get togethers. We had such a great time it will be remembered for a very long time. it would be a place for us to return to in the future. Thanks so much to the DFL Staff!!!
