  This is our first stay at DFL and it was a great experience. As many others have said it was so much like home with the cozy couches the warm fireplace and comfy beds. Really had some peaceful nights sleep. thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home. We hope to make it a tradition as our family grows.

  This is our 3rd year coming to the lodge for our family Christmas. We have seen two new blessings added to our family! The Christmas tree lighting was magical. We love the Dirtyface Lodge, it feel like home to all of us. Thank you very much Cory and Margaret for making this large family's Christmas so special!

  What a beautiful getaway for myself, my family, and friends. Beautiful and peaceful lodge. A great place to enjoy life away from the real world! We loved the beautiful hiking in the area. The best part was spending time in Leavenworth and then coming back to hang out in front of the fire playing games with our family and friends! Thank you for a great time, we look forward to returning next year!

  The Legacy Birthday Bash Girls had another awesome weekend. We celebrated our 28th year together and Nineteenth !!!! year at The Dirtyface Lodge!!! As the years progress we are so thankful for each other and to be able to gather at this great place - our vacation home.   This is our second time coming to this lodge for our reunion. We came here 4 years ago and it is even better than last times! We love the upgrades; the sinks in the main bathrooms are awesome! i think our favorite part is the pool. we always have so much fun out there. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for pictures. We love it here! Thanks for such a great time

  11 kids, 10 adults and everyone had a great time! As you can imagine, with 11 kids, the pool was a lifesaver! Love the area and will keep the Dirtyface in mind the next time we have a group getaway!

  Many thanks to the Dirtyface Lodge. All 23 of us had terrific family time together in an awesome setting. Great amenities and very comfortable. We'd love to return and do it all over again some day.

  Another magical stay at DFL. i saw a pileated woodpecker and grossbearks. In the afternoon a great horned owl flew across the meadow - so big and so quiet! The chipmunks and squirrels were also fun to watch!

  This is our second visit to DFL. 15 of us met here this weekend to renew our friendships of 40 + years. We gathered from across the state to sing and enjoy our memories of many years in Girl Scouting together. We laughed, sat by the fire, played games, and caught up in each other's lives. The warm and rustic environment suited our needs perfectly! Thank you for a wonderful time!

  Great family weekend. Hot tubbing, feasting, lots of games next to the giant fire place. Everyone loved it! We had such a wonderful, relaxing time at the lodge. My most favorite thing was the balcony. I loved the mornings of sitting up there and watching the beautiful fire. Great times with friends and family.

  Activities: 1. Sledding at Lake Wenatchee State Park (South Entrance) FUN but expensive! $30 Discovery Pass required and at the time of this entry, only place that sold them was Midway Store. We had a great time there though. We bought brats and brought them to the sled hill and ate lunch under the covered BBQ area while kids sled. 2. Sledding and skiing at Ski Hill in Leavenworth - Tubing, very fast at times depending on the snow pack $17 a day to tube I think $35 to ski and tube? Great place, one of my favorites! 3. Alpine Junction Center - Hwy 2 on your right just as you come into Leavenworth. Movie theater, arcade games, earn tickets for prizes, my kids love this place 4. Rudloof pizza - slow service, pretty good, not great pizza. 5. South - BEST mexican restaurant, authentic! 6. CURED - BEST meat shop! 7. Cheesmongers Shop - BEST cheese - if you go in they will make you taste cheese, love the friendly staff! 8. Plain Hardware - great coffee, toys, fun housewares, clothes, jewelry, ski/snowshoe rentals

  30 friends came together and reconnected. Thank you DFL. It was a great escape from our busy lives. We played many games at your table, had deep and not so deep conversations at your couches and played and had fun on your snow hills outside. A perfect getaway!!!

  The annual birthday bash group again enjoyed a "60's" theme get together. Age 55+ were great hippies Sat. night. the pool time, reading, water volleyball, squirt guns, dancing, hot tubbing were all great activities. We LOVED the new pool cushions and having a second refrigerator and the fabulous weather 2012 we'll return as Dallas Derby Days wearing fabulous hats. the 6 burner propane BBQ is awesome and will definitely be needed for the texas BBQ in 2012

  Dear Cory and Margaret, thank you so much for the special gift you sent in honor of my 50th jubillee. that was so thoughtful of you. we all enjoyed the wine, cheese, and other goodies. Our week's vacation at Dirtyface Lodge was super. Lots of time was spent in the pool and hot tub just relaxing and visiting. Since we don't see each other often we had lots of catching up to do. Again, thank you for making my celebration even more special.

  Our annual family reunion here at ole' DFL. thanks to Greg for his help with the pool and hot tub, and stories. we never made it all the way to Trinity to see the tragic location. The DFL served our purposes well. thank you very much. A few friendly suggestions for improvement for future guests would be more paper towels, a different coffee maker (this one pours poorly), many of us hit our heads on the outdoor hanging flower baskets - but they looked and smelled great, plastic wrap for the kitchen would be nice, just a few ideas. Thanks again!

  We had a wonderful time at Dirty Face Lodge with friends and family. It was spacious, beautifully furnished and we loved the hot tub and huge fireplaces after a big day of skiing. It was an easy 30-35 minute drive to Stevens Pass for skiing and a shorter drive into Leavenworth for touring and grocery shopping. We all had a wonderful time!

  What a wonderful way to start our new year! Our whole family was together. we had perfect weather, lots of fun in the fresh snow. We loved sleddding, hot tubbing, a fabulous sleigh ride and had so much fun with the neighbors dogs! thanks for the fantastic memories for my family. We are so happy to know your family.

  A memorable Christmas for the family. Plenty of space for al our clan, and we loved the Christmas decorations. The power outage was thankfully brief!!! Great space for our big family - games, puzzles, movie night, trips to town, a great time!

  Anyone looking for a great place for a large group, this is it! You still have the privacy of your own bedroom and the large kitchen, dining and living rooms for group get togethers. We had such a great time it will be remembered for a very long time. it would be a place for us to return to in the future. Thanks so much to the DFL Staff!!!

  Fun weekend! Lots of swimming, riding jet skis, visiting, playing music, sitting around the fire, hot tubbing, eating, drinking, and being merry!! Virgil and Donna enjoyed seeing many friends who helped celebrate 60 years of marriage and memories. Four generations went through 8+ boxes of wonderful memorabilia. Photos, blankets, baby book, dedication clothing and many other memories passed down to the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. the lodge was wonderful and absorbed all of us very well. Thanks for the well stocked kitchen. the BBQ was very nice! The bees were everywhere! Thanks also to the owners for thinking of my grandparents and caring enough to send a box of goodies for them. We'll donate the propane!
