We stayed in this condo 2/10 thru 2/17 2012. It was perfect for us. I agree with others who have said that the pictures do not do the view justice at all. Not only was the condo beautiful and perfect, dealing with the owner was a breeze; she made everything so easy and even accommodated a special request we had. We have stayed at this resort four times before, but this was the first time in this condo and we will most definitely be back - hopefully soon!! Would definitely recommend this condo.

The condo was wonderful! It was described accurately and the pictures showed the layout, decor and ammenities very well. We loved the decor and the newly remodeled kitchen. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It was very clean and our dealings with Jennifer went smoothly. We were there for a week and had no issues at all. I am a walker and was able to walk all the way to Whalers Village on the beach and boardwalk. It is a wonderful place to walk! Also, it was nice to be able to walk to Duke's for dinner and across the street for a few groceries. It is a very comfotable resort. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast at the restaurant. We have been to Hawaii many times and went on the best whale watching trip we have ever been on. It was one of the best experiences we have had while in Hawaii and when we come back we definatly will stay in this condo!

We just stayed at this condo last week and the room was just as the photos described. The condo was clean and comfortable and the location was great! Also, the view from the Lanai was awesome! With the night breeze and the Lanai doors open, we did not even need to use the air conditioning. We could hear the ocean from our room and that was great! The resort itself is well-maintained and the gardens are just beautiful. We found the location very convient to nearby activities. While in Maui, my family went whale watching, snorkeling, drove the road to Hana, and enjoyed time in Lahaina. There are many good resturants nearby. We enjoyed Duke's, Five Palms and Kimo's. Anyone looking for a beautiful room with a nice view would be very happy staying at this condo. We also enjoyed the beach and the pool at the resort. Thank you for sharing your condo with my family.

This condo is beautiful and has everything you need for a great holiday! We stayed here for 9 nights in December 2011. This was our first time using VRBO. A few friends recommended searching the site for a place to rent for our Maui vacation. The photos of this condo made it look so inviting that I quickly contacted the owner to see if it was available during our holiday. Jennifer answered all of my questions and made the booking process so easy. We had a wonderful time in Maui and enjoyed our stay in this condo!

This was a great place to stay! Beautiful beach, awesome pool, if you want to see the big sea turtles, go to Nipolei Bay. We saw 7 or 8. Lahaina was great, fun to walk around!

This condo surpassed our expectations! Such a wonderful cozy place to spend our 11 days honeymoon. We got married here on Maui on Sept 10th @ Mama's Fish House - we highly recommend going there. It's a little pricey, but the food and views are more than worth the price. We will be recommending this place to any of our friends that come to Maui. Thank you very much for letting us stay in #734. We loved it! We will never stay in a hotel again. The fully stocked kitchen was a real treat. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we will definitely be back! We went on a helicopter ride around the island, drove to Hana & experience the sunrise on top of Haleakala and spent lots of time laying on the beach, swimming and snorkeling. We just got back from Maui and absolutely loved staying in this condo. It was clean and beautifully decorated and very comfortable for my husband and I. The view was also fantastic! Also, it was so great to have a fully-stocked kitchen, we loved being able to prepare some of our own meals. The resort itself was very nice and we spent a lot of time down on the beach. The location was great -- close to great snorkeling, grocery stores and Lahaina (shopping and restaurants). We especially loved the vegetarian market down the street. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo and hope to stay there again in the future.

We spent a week in this condo in early May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place looked better than the photos and was maintained very well. The view from the lanai is awesome and it was great to be able to walk to the Kannapali Beach and have access to the hotel's concierge desk. We will definitely consider staying here when we come back to Maui.

This was my first trip here! We came over with our families to get married on the beach and enjoy Maui. Each family got a different place in the complex but ours was by far the best. It is great for 2 people and we felt we had plenty of room to relax and not feel like we were stuck in a hotel. the photos were great, but when we got there, it was even better!! loved having coffee outside every morning and the restaurant on site is great for any meal. Wonderful service at the facility and lots to do nearby. We will definitely be back for our first anniversary and hope this room is available when we come. Thank you Jennifer for everything. you were very easy to work with and we appreciated it very much during the stressful planning of a wedding. p.s., if you need a wedding coordinator/photographer, this facility has a great one too!!

We were impressed with the condo, the ocean view and it met our every need. The kitchen had everything we needed, the stainless steel appliances and granite countertops were homelike and we could have prepared more meals but were on the go so much during our 6 day stay. The pictures are a perfect representation of the space and very spacious for a studio condo and the overall property was lush, well maintained and it has two pools, ocean front and a restaurant on the premisis. The owner provided excellent instructions to get to the location from the airport, to check in and how to access the key. The staff at the condo were great and made outstanding recommendations regarding the local excursions and it was a trip of a lifetime for us. The whale watching was a thrill, nearby shopping at Whaler's Village and Lahaina fun and it was all great! We would strongly recommend this condo and thank you for the comfortable accomodations.

What a spectacular vacation & wonderful condo.It was so much better than any hotel room we could have found.The fully equipped kitchen was great to use and saved us from eating out every meal...We went on a whale watching trip & though the boat can't approcah the whales closer than 100 yds the whales can come to us...One whale acutally sat right below the boat for a few minutes before coming to the surface just 100 ft from us...something we'll never forget.We hope to come back to 734 again soon!

Fabulous, we loved the condo! It's just perfect for Lisa and I. We can't see ourselves ever staying in a hotel room again. I couldn't get over the view from the balcony. The first day I found myself out there staring at the ocean. Everytime we explored around Kaanaapali we'd find ourselves saying "I like our place better". We truly hope to return to 734 again soon!

This was our third vacation in Maui. Our first spent in a Condo. We will never stay in a hotel again, Condo's are the only way to go. We considered contacting the owner right away to see if this unit is available again next Christmas. Unfortunately when we got home we noticed a scheduling conflict that made this impossible. We love the location and the complex. The unit is clean and bright, the appliances and fixtures are top notch. The view from the deck is magical. Loved all of it! The room is great, enough space for our family of 4. Our 3 year old especially loved the birds visitng on the balcony. Favorite parts of island: driving to Hana, the beach & pool right outside, the little crabs on the beach in Lahaina. Hard Rock cafe ok but good for music lovers. Bubba Gump has great food & service! We will come back to Maui but we are off to Oahu to check out the North Shore!

When we first walked in, it made my jaw drop in surprise how beautifully MODERN this condo was. The decor was very much well thought out, immaculate and clean, not typically cheesy or old as some other properties can be. LOVED the kitchen, was a pleasure to cook in a well appointed facility. I'd definitly recommend this to friends and stay here as my first choice when I return to Maui. The view off the lanai was much better than I anticipated. The photos don't do it justice. The unit was plenty large and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property itself is nice and clean. Often times, you can stay at a condo or hotel that is a bit older and when you arrive you just don't feel quite comfortable staying there. That isn't the case at Kaanapali Shores. As you know, staying on that side of Maui can be quite expensive for lodging, but this is a great value and you get a lot of bang here for your buck.

Nice accomodations. Clean but not overly clean. Called housekeeping for new water filter on refrigerator and one one ever came. Also reported that they had left a big sticky mess on the floor and we'd like it cleaned. Housekeeping comes but ONLY within certain hours. I was told they have WAY TOO much to do in a short period of time so YOU WORK around their hours. The pictures are true, just add a bit of wear. The balcony is SMALL. I don't think my husband and I actually BOTH sat out there together--pretty cramped. The ceiling fan was a life-saver because the air conditioning wasn't that efficient when it comes to the back area of the condo where the restroom and dressing areas are located. No ventilation and couldn't secure a fan if our lives depended on us. When you walk in from a long day of travel, you want cool and refreshing. I was sweating for hours trying to cool the place down. They turn the refer "off" so when you come in and want something cool to drink--forget it until the next day. That I found out from housekeeping. Truly a cute place and average for the money. Next time, I'd pay the additional dime and find a place more spacious. Grounds are beautiful. Restrauant unfortunately was terrible and we'd heard that coming in so we weren't too surprised but it was a bummer. When you'd want to stroll to the beach and have a nice dinner close to home, we just ended up disappointed each time. Finally gave up and went across the street.

Love the updating and air conditioning. We really enjoyed your unit. I loved having my coffee and devotions every morning on the lanai listening to the waves. We saw manta rays and sting rays with turtles and hundres of fish snorkeling at black rock. Now its back to cold seattle.

Wow, looks like we had a bit in common with the previous guests!We are also here celebrating our anniversary and 1st 10 days w/o the kids!Some hilights were snorkling Molokini with Pacific Whale Found.(go in the morning if you can-the ocean is calmer!)and hike around Iao Valley...BEAUTIFUL!Drums of the Pacific Luaua.We recommend getting groceries at Walmart...if you're planning to stay while....734 was such a nice place to come back to at the end of the day.We enjoyed our stay very much!

Aloha!My wife and I had an amazing stay here on Maui.# 734 was a perfect home away from home for the week. It was our first vacation without the kids since we were married six ears ago and we enjoyed every minute of it. The Pacific Whale Foundation snorkel trip and cocktail cruise were some of the highlights. A short road trip north to Nakalele point was cool as well (amazing views). We'll go take the road to Hana today....We would reccomend this unit to any couple that is visitng the island.

My husband and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary at #158790. Having never booked through VRBO I was reluctant and not sure what to expect when we arrived. My nerves were eased as soon as we walked in the front door to the studio! Not only was the studio tastefully remodeled but also very clean. Absolutely everything we needed was there for cooking our meals throughout the day from the pots and pans to any utensil you could possibly think of. The lanai was great to sit at while eating dinner of breakfast to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and the beach. Jennifer was great to work with and promptly responded to any of our inquiries. If the two of us travel back to Maui alone, we will definitely try to stay at this studio.

Aloha! This was a great spot to relax & reuvinate. We had a great time exploring the island, especially the Haleakala Crater and the Molikini & Lanai snorkle trip. I have been going to Maui for years now, and always stay at one of the two units Jennifer provides at Kaanapali. The rooms have been remodeled beautifully and have all the accommodations of home provided. When we BBQ, everyone is like "Wow, where did you get those tongs or that platter, or whatever it might be”. . ?? This last visit we got to see a "Rare" ritual in which a lot of male whales follow a female even though she already has an “escort” called the "Primary Escort" and they try to knock the male escort away from her to become her “New” escort. There can be 8-10 whales or more trying to get her attentions! It was so amazing and I didn't even need to pay to watch them. Whale season if from November to May each year and I highly recommend seeing these beautiful creatures. You can catch a bus for only a dollar right outside the hotel and go to Whaler's Village or Lahaina for shopping & great restaurants like Lailani's, Kimo's, The Fish Co. and many others! The shopping is Amazing, and so is the Food!!! The view at sunset is incredible from just about anywhere in Maui, even from the lanai of our room. Having brkfst on the lanai is such a treat and the fully stocked kitchen allows us to cook whatever we choose! Having a washer/dryer available is Great since I seemed to be always rinsing sand out of my suits. I will be back again and again. . . Thanks Jenn!

Mahaolo! The condo was great! Views were fantastic and it really felt like a home away from home (except a lot warmer here). We loved Kapalua Beach and the Pineapple upside down cake at Pineapple Grill restaurant. We recommend: all the fish at the fish market just up the street and the Old Lahaina Luau for a night out. We had a great time on Maui and we'll recommend this place to our friends & family!

We had a wonderful time at this condo. The size was perfect for us and our 6-month old baby. We rented baby equipment from a local Maui company who delivered it before we arrived. The condo is beautifully updated with classy and comfortable decor. Also, the complex has two pools, a restaurant, a gym, shopping and nicely manicured grounds. We plan to return next year!

We enjoyed our visit to Maui.On this trip we spent a day upcountry & enjoyed horseback rides.Terrific horses & great for beginners!Caught the fabulous cream puffs and chantilly cake at Makawao at the..Bakery!Had a great brunch at Charleys, Willie Nelson's fave rest.in Paia.Whale watching cruise with the Lahaina Cruise Co was terrific!Lucky to see several breaches, lots of fins & tails.The weather was very accomodating...Your place was delightfully decorated.Thanks for adding to a great vacation!

The studio is wonderful and includes everything you would need during the stay. A new and fresh look makes it feel like a Westin interior and yet it is less expensive. W had an unforgettable time - an absolute blast - and fell in love with Maui. Thank you for sharing your beautiful studio with us. Dan and Joanna

We stayed in this condo at Kaanapali Shores in June 2009 and absolutely loved it! It is conveniently located near (within driving distance) a lot of great restaurants and activities - even a grocery store. It has great beach access as well. The condo is clean, nicely furnished, has a great kitchen for cooking your meals, and is very open. It was just the two of us and was the perfect size. You would probably have room for one small child as well. The lanai has a beautiful view of the ocean and is a great place to start the day. Overall, it was a great place to stay on an amazing trip. We will be back! Oh...and I highly recommend the Molokini snorkel cruise - was my favorite thing we did!

We had a week to enjoy the location we were at and found it to be more than we had thought.A beatifully remodelled condo with a nice veiw of the ocean..Easy to spot the whales from the lanai..Thanks Jennifer...
