Welcome to Casa Pelicano on the Sea of Cortez side of Southern Baja. Walk onto the white sandy beach just a few feet away from your front door. This charming, spacious apartment is built in the modern Mexican style.
One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed while the second bedroom has two twin beds. The furniture in both bedrooms are handmade locally and of Mexican decor. Both bathrooms are showers, no tubs, but are decorated in colorful Mexican tiles and Talavera sinks.
The kitchen with dining area has beautiful cabinetry and tile work and is fully equipped with all necessary appliances needed. You will find the living room tastefully furnished and comfortable.
Enjoy a day of swimming, snorkeling or walking on our wonderful white sandy beach where most of the time you will not encounter many people. The water is calm and, except for some months in winter, there is no surf.
It is 5 miles to the small town of Los Barriles where you find a bank, medical clinic, grocery store and small gift stores. While there you might want to enjoy lunch or dinner in one of the several nice restaurants or numerous taco and hamburger stands. If you are looking for more activities you will find several options from ATV rental to windsurf or kiting lessons.
Care to spend a day in La Paz or Cabo San Lucas, we are 75 miles away from either city. The airport of SJD is a 45 mile drive from Buena Vista. Tired of shopping, take a day trip to Cabo Pulmo Marine Sanctuary with safe swimming and excellent snorkeling, diving and kayaking for all experience levels. This area is know for its great deep sea fishing and we can help you arrange fishing boat rental or scuba trips.
