Bahia del Sol Ocean Resort is located on the north side of the bay in San Juan del Sur. San Juan del Sur is a leading destination for tourists visiting Nicaragua and for affluent people in Managua and Central America. It is less than 2 hours drive from Managua or under an hour from Liberia, Costa Rica. It is the only bay on Nicaragua's Pacific where luxurious cruise ships dock en-route to Panama or South America.

The resort is located on Nicaragua’s version of Malibu Beach exclusively among residential of Nicaraguan millionaires. A gated entrance with 24-hour security leads into the Villa section, which is on the lower part of the site. The condos are on the upper section.

The hillside setting and site layout ensure that every villa and every condo has an outstanding ocean view. The beach is less than 300 meters from the property and you can walk to town along it.

Our spacious 2100 square foot luxury villa design offers the privacy of a free-standing house with the convenience of on-site parking. Interiors and exteriors finished to U.S. standards. The interior design uses local building materials and modern architecture to give our luxury villa a unique Nicaraguan flavor blended with modern themes. Our air-conditioned fully-furnished villa, and equipped with everything down to dish ware has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths with hand-fired red brick tile floors.

Nicaragua's balmy weather invites outdoor living. Large terraces off both the master bedroom on the second floor and the sunken living room let you relax and dine in the freshest ocean breezes as you take in the spectacular ocean views.

Even the smaller bedrooms have large windows and glass doors so all your guests or children share in the sights and sounds of beach area living. Master bedroom has spacious private bathroom with rain drop shower, dual vanities with vessel sinks and drip faucets, and entertainment center.

Fully equipped kitchen to showcase your culinary skills or hire your own private chef to drum up a romantic night out under the stars with ocean breeze and sound as you enjoy wine selection and music of nature. For your convenience of longer stay, you have access to in-house laundry room with washer, dryer and linen closet or forget about all daily household chores, and enjoy your vacation and let our laundry services took care of your mundane needs.

  • This place was great. Private yet 15 minutes from town via a walk up the beach and a 5$ taxi ride back after a sunset and dinner. The villa is in excellent condition and the views spectacular from the master bedroom and deck. It was great to have the kitchen and be just across the road from the pool. Management was outstanding and the place very clean. Will definitely go back.

  • Miguel, the general manager was there to greet us personally. It was our first trip there for our honeymoon stopover. Everything was setup just like the website said. We were very pleased with the cleaniness, attentive services and the views were spectacular. Also, the walk into town along the beach was very pleasant.
