Our newly remodeled home is now your home. We purchased this house with the idea of sharing it with family and friends and to escape the speed of life. Beautifully remodeled in 2007, your home is clean, crisp and modern in design while its energy is warm and cozy. It is private and quiet, making for many nights of sound sleep. You will want to stay forever.
As you enter the front door, you are greeted with newly polished concrete flooring (often mistaken for Terrazzo) & Nelson Lighting. Watch a movie on the wide-screen TV or read a book near burning logs in the fireplace.
A few steps into your hideaway and you notice the backyard through the 8' wall-to-wall sliders off of the open kitchen and dining area. Cook up a feast with professional cookware and a fully stocked kitchen. CaesarStone counter tops, a breakfast/computer laptop bar, and endless light draw you out to the backyard where you find your own private pool, in-ground spa and views of the mountains that go on forever.
As you step outside, you glance to the right and the view of the mountains take your breath away. A covered patio with a dining table that seats 6, makes for perfect al fresco dining year-round. Around the corner of the house is a private space perfect for restoration after "too much togetherness" with your guests!
The Master Bedroom has an 8-foot slider that allows a perfect setting for relaxing in your Queen bed and enjoying the lit pool at night... it will melt you. Watch a movie from bed on the TV with DVD player. The Master Bath is a spa-like "zen" space with stacked Neutra tile, mosaic tile, zebra-wood vanity, Philippe Starck Duravit toilet, with a 6-foot slider that leads to the pool. It is very modern and tasteful.
The 2nd bedroom has its own private outdoor space, a full closet, queen bed, and a nice view of the mountains outside your slider door. It also has a desk with all-in-one printer should you need to "briefly" work during your retreat. The 3rd bedroom has a window with street view, full closet, and great natural lighting.
The Guest Bath (outside of the 3rd Bedroom) has a custom vanity with a large square euro sink (very hip), another Philippe Starck Duravit toilet, stacked tile, Japanese-style lighting and an open, frameless glass shower panel. A great place for a long, soothing bath!
The backyard with the stunning mountain view, has a large very private rectangular pool (with built in seat for sunning!), in ground spa and beautiful palm trees and sod to practice your putting. After all, we are in Palm Springs, home of 100's of golf courses.
Set on a very private, quarter-acre parcel in a quiet residential neighborhood this single-level home is tranquil and inspiring. Retreat, create, and be inspired by the desert solitude and beauty. In addition, there is a 2-car garage with full-sized washer & dryer.
Located in Palm Springs, just ten minutes from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), the major cross streets are Indian Canyon and Racquet Club. Easily accommodates one to six guests. |
