Quirky and Charming. Casa LunaSF is located in the recently gentrified Castro sector. A pleasant neighborhood on the edge of the bustling Castro St. area home of the vibrant SF Rainbow scene. An interesting and charming glimpse into the rich and diverse gay culture for us mature, staid, straight folks.  This remodeled old home has been divided into three vacation rentals. We stayed in the top unit which is accessed via two looooong flights of stairs. Be aware if mobility is an issue. The space is quirky but very pleasant with two generous BRs and two large baths. The kitchen/ DR is spacious and accommodated co-operative cooking. Sound proofing was problematical between units and the street, however, this is to be expected in such a Reno. On site Manager (Rico) was friendly and responsive while the home office (Debbie in Hawaii) was seconds away via email. Her list of local stores etc was excellent. Would definitely stay in this area and residence next time. Note: maybe not for kids.

We stayed here as a family of five. The appartment was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a stress free start to our holiday. The location was brilliant - the Castro district - with great delis and restaurants - Chow's, Harvey's, Catch, to name but a few. The appartment is rifgt next to a tube station and has great bus and tram links. The outside area was peaceful and we all loved the jacuzzi bath.

This apt was perfect for our family of 4 (myself, husband & 2 teenage daughters). Location was great, central to all bus & streetcar lines. Tastefully decorated with all amenities. Beds were comfy & kitchen was wonderful, although in the city of great food we didn't use it as much as I'd of liked. I've already recommend this apt to all our friends.

We love visiting San Francisco. We stayed at Casa Luna this past December 2009 and we have decided that whenever we go back to that city we will stay at Casa Luna. The best you can find.

This condo is absolutely beautiful and clean! The entire experience from booking to entering to departing was very easy and smooth. It is located right off of Castro St. and less than 1/2 block from the Muni entrance. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone visiting the San Francisco area.

Casa Luna, I just wanted to let you know that we had an amazing time in San Francisco and a big part of it was because of the amazing place we had to stay. It's convenient location was a huge plus for going out in the evenings and doing all the touristy stuff during the day. Not to mention that the inside of the house was just as beautiful as well as your incredibly well done back yard. We will be planning our next years vacation very soon and we are definitely going to be coming back to your amazing house for two weeks instead of just the four days. What a beautiful appartment. Very clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and the backyard is heaven. We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Luna. The area is safe, full of restaurants and groceries, close to the MUNI (7 minutes ride to down town) and the F market bus. Next time we are in SF we will definitely return to Casa Luna. The owner is friendly and very helpful.

Casa Luna is a fantastic apartment, very spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent! There is no need to use taxis because the Light Rail and the F cable car are within walking distance. We had two wonderful weeks in Casa Luna. From Durham NC

The stay at your home was just magnificent. It is located so close to everything. The Munni and F-Line trolley had a pickup point only 1/2 block from the front door. This took our family easily and safely to all the major areas. A quick 4 stop 10 minute ride to Powell Street Ststion connected us to the cable cars where we would connect to China Town, Fishermans Warf or Union Square. With this kind of access, we never needed a vehicle the entire time we were there. This was our first visit to the West Coast. Your home had all the amenities that a family might need for a vacation stay. Thanks for making our Spring Break trip so enjoyable.
