Note to Parents, if you go out the rear exit of the garage and across the small bridge there is a great jungle gym and a small sledding hill. My grandchildren love this feature.

Don't fault ME for being VERY honest about the ski in ski out...BUT only a SHORT walk or free bus* to main lift (Centennial). * Courteous and complimentary DIAL-A-RIDE is availabe to wisk you to the slopes or around the BC area at a moments notice (well maybe 10 minutes!) Dial-a-ride, now provides evening FREE service into AVON, to the grocery store, post office and to various resturants!
I purchased this Townsend Place condo pre-construction. Recently remodeled (Feb 2011)...This is MY second home,furnished and finished to a "T" Townsend Place is located between the condos "Creekside" and "Oxford Court" Just opposite Scott Hill Road and the Boarders.. From Townsend Place you can walk to Vilar Center, main ski hill or the shopping center/ ice rink with OUT ever having to cross the street. GREAT advantage from families with children who venture out on their own.
CENTRALLY LOCATED SHORT,2-3 MINUTE WALK TO VILAR CENTER,ICE SKATING RINK ETC, 5 MINUTES TO CENTENNIAL LIFT (MAIN LIFT) SKI SCHOOL ETC.......**** FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE ALL DAY AND INTO NIGHT***, EITHER ON A SCHEDULE OR YOU CALL dial-a-ride and they are usually there at the condo door within 10 minutes.....
This Unit is in Beaver Creek... not down in the valley where early and late snow can be ifffy.
DO NOT BE CONFUSED WITH OTHER "2 bedroom units" this is a LARGE 2 & bedroom condo (1294 sf.) located on 2 floors, other 2/2 may actually be a 1 bedroom & den that only have 946 sf. The first floor bathroom has just been remodeled to close in the commode area.... allowing more privacy and the bath tub has been made into a walk-in shower. A full bathtub is upstairs.
As you can see by my photos and Grandson I have tried to make this condo as child friendly as possible, books, games, dvd's, high chair, also in closet is a baby bathtub...
KITCHEN IS WELL EQUIPPED: condiments: s&p, flour, sugar, cooking oil, vinegar, spices etc etc.(and a list of resturants!) Instant Hot, Micro/convection oven, lots of pots and pans, baking dishes etc.
New Full size washer/dryer.
All linens provided,Nice sheets and towels.
Heated ski room with lockers on the first floor for equipment. Parking for ONE auto. Additional vechiles can be back in the parking lot at the base.
Beaver Creek (rated # 5 ski area in the WEST) has THE BEST ski school(now offering a GONDOLA for beginners) and BEST terrain for any beginner. Excellent BLACK DIAMOND runs, see photos attached.

I chose BC because it has the BEST overall conditions. Fabulous ski school located in an area not so large you "lose" people. The BC/Vail ski school is one of the best in the world. I wanted my Grandchildren to have the best experience available.... and they have. You can too by skiing here.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I feel my property is a good value and furnished as my second home, not like a typical rental unit. In the kitchen is instant hot, top of the line micro wave and a fully stocked condiment
cabinet. More then ample number of dishers, glasses etc. Each room has it own TV and C/D or DVD player, having the second bedroom on a different level gives you lots of privacy. Jungle gym and sleding hill just behind the building.
Ample dishes and glasses, you don't have to be constantly washing them!! Serivce for 12+

The condo was very well appointed, comfortable, all appliances worked, plenty of dishes and items for cooking, condo items and equipment were well marked, the condo was located close to shopping and restaurants, the ski in, ski out routing was excellent, the Townsend Place ski lockers and warming room were perfectly located to accommodate ski in and ski out, very nice, large, outdoor built-in jacuzzi that was clean and heated perfectly to 103 degrees F. The Beaver Creek Condo reception staff was available to help with the check-in and directions. A great experience overall!
