Why the Owner Chose Brockway
Brockway Point is my favorite area in Lake Tahoe! The Point is one of the sunniest spots on the lake! It is also very hard to find property that is on the lake side of the main highway that circles the lake. Brockway Point is one of those spots! Literally walk to one of our most photographed white sand, crystal green and blue water beaches, with huge granite boulders jutting out of the waters, in just a few minutes, without having to cross the main road! Brockway Point is also extremely close to town for shopping, dining, entertainment, etc.. It is also extremely close to the casinos. We are on the CA side, but the old 1950's casinos are just down the road, less than 1/4 of a mile. You don't even know they are there if you don't enjoy them, but they are there if you do.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
My property is an insanely custom Lake Tahoe cabin! If you are looking for the Tahoe experience, this is it! Enjoy the over the top custom log home, with enormous rock shower/steam room, gourmet kitchen, flat screen TV, wireless (can be hard to get in Tahoe), hot tub, great beach access, close to town, the home has everything!
New and updated casino with gaming, live music every weekend and new Steak house.
Old 1950's Rat Pack casino, once owned by Sinatra and the Rat Pack, very nostalgic!
One of our most photographed beaches! Gorgeous sandy beach with huge granite boulders shooting out of the crystal clear green/blue waters! A local's favorite beach.
Beautiful downtown area with huge beaches, jet ski rentals, kayak rentals, parasailing, paddle boarding, dining, entertainment, everything you will need!
Owner's Map of Brockway
I am a local Tahoe resident now for 10 years and love my home! I also sell real estate in the area, so I have a distinct knowledge of properties and recreation hot spots. I am also an avid outdoorsman, great for this area and my house, as there is a lot of activities located near my home.

My husband, two daughters, and I consider ourselves blessed to have found such a beautiful cabin for our stay in Lake Tahoe. The listing description is accurate regarding appearance, amenities and location. There are two grocery stores, Safeway and Raley's, five and ten minutes drive respectively. Raley's offers a good selection of organic food. Renting a house from someone is not about getting all you want ,how you want it. This is a extra-ordinary cabin, and even though some adjustments were neccessary, it is over all a wonderful place to stay at and enjoy. Alex and his family are a pleasure to do business with. Our only regret was not to be able to stay longer than two weeks! I would not rent anywhere else!
Owner response:Thank you so much Isabelle for your kind words, and we are so glad you guys had a great time, even though there was no snow! That is very uncommon for our area to not have a ton of snow by then. We are now under about 5 feet of snow, how the seasons change so quickly in Tahoe! I wish you guys would have been able to use the snow shoes, but I am glad to hear that you were still able to find all sorts of things to do! Come back anytime!

This is a good looking cabin with quaint wooden features and a good location but was lacking in some basics. There are no curtains on any of the windows which we thought was very strange as the property is surrounded by neighbors. It also makes it difficult to sleep in. The blankets had a lot of what looked like dog hair on them and one of the mattresses on the double bed was pretty uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you move in your sleep. Also one of the bedrooms had no drawers. There is also no central heating in either of the bedrooms though they do provide those small heaters which always seem like fire hazard to me. Alex was very nice and easy to deal with. In general, a decent option but unfortunately did not live up to our expectations based on the price point and other places we have stayed in Tahoe.
Owner response:Hi Nicole, I am very sorry that the house did not live up to your expectations, that is the first time that has happened in 4 years of renting the house. We would love another chance to live up to those expectations, as we are addressing any issues that you had before. I am not sure why the bed was making noise, but we are looking into it. As for the curtains, none of our pictures show curtains, and that has never bothered us before being in such a quiet area of the lake. Nonetheless, we are looking at putting something up so that we do not run into this problem again. Please let us know next time you are coming to town, and we will make sure to give you a good rate so that we can gain your confidence and hopefully become your "go to" place in Tahoe, as we are for so many other people. Thanks!

This is a great cabin in an incredible location. Alex is a great guy and very easy to work with, and was very responsive to my emails while we were staying in the cabin. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here along with another couple (and our dogs). We loved how the cabin was full of luxury features, yet still felt so rustic. We particularly enjoyed the steam shower, hottub, and fenced in backyard for the dogs. (Note: The yard is not fully fenced but we found additional fencing beside the deck that we were able to set up in order to keep the dogs in the backyard.) We really enjoyed our stay and Alex, the owner, was so laid back and easy to work with. We would definitley go back!
Owner response:Thank you for the kind words and we are so glad you enjoyed the cabin as much as we do. Please think of us on your next Tahoe trip!

Tahoe is amazingly beautiful this year!! We thoroughly enjoyed a week in this very comfortable cabin. The location is ideal, the neighborhood is quiet, and the short walk to the lake is a bonus. The water is very high this year, so the beach is almost non-existent, but it was still nice to see! Plenty of fun hikes/beaches/walks nearby which our dog enjoyed. Wish we were still there.......

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and had a blast! The location is unbeatable! We walked down to the most gorgeous beach every day, strolled along the sandy beach, hopped around on the giant granite boulders, and swam in the crystal clear water, absolutely amazing! And the house! Totally what you would think of when you think "Tahoe". We will definitely be back!
Owner response:Thank you for the kind words, we are glad you liked the cabin, and we hope you come back soon!
