  I would reccomend this cottage to anyone, nice property with beautiful beaches. Short walk to the water. Owners very friendly. Cottage has everything you need.

  You know when you look at pictures of rental homes and then show up and the house is nothing like the picture? NOT the case here. House is just as charming and homey as the pictures show. My husband and I stayed at the Black Point Beach Cottage for about two months while my husband attended temporary training at the Submarine Base. Though there was a commute for him (approx. 25 minutes) we both enjoyed the location and scenery this cottage offers. Never have I been in a better stocked rental house, everything I needed was available to me. The kitchen was so well appointed and the whole house is clearly set up for you to not worry about anything and just enjoy the vacation. The best part was that they welcomed our beloved Border Collie too! Finding a pet friendly rental is hard, finding one this nice is even better! Just a short downhill walk to the beach and only a few minutes from the highway and close to everything from there (Mystic, Waterford, Casinos). We enjoyed about 3 days of spring weather before we moved and it was so beautiful there. Michele and her husband are great, answer communication quickly, and are very responsive to any issues or questions. Do not hesitate to rent this cottage, you'll enjoy every minute.   My wife and I spend a month at this great cottage. It was exactly as described. It was clean and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and a complete set of dishes, silverware and pots and pans.The owners were easy to work with and were quick to answer any questions that we had. As we were there during the winter, we had plenty of fire wood on hand for the fireplace, which worked very well. The house was equipped with thermostats in each room so we were able to easily control the heat. The washer and dryer were a welcome feature as was the dish washer. The wireless system worked well. During our stay we had a wonderful time touring Connecticut and New England. Niantic was a good central location for seeing the many sites in this area. A big thank you to Michele and Gordon for helping to make this a very special vacation for us.

  Stayed in Black Point for a month and this cottage was fully stocked with everything I needed. The area was quiet and safe. I enjoyed walking around the area and taking in the views. Niantic offered great food and Rocky Neck State Park was just a short drive away.

  We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this cottage. When we arrived, the neighbor greeted us and even went with me to town to get supplies. It had everything we needed and more for a family of 6 to spread out. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. The two full bathrooms were a blessing when we came back from the beach and everyone wanted a shower. There are even bikes available that allowed us to explore the area. The Black Point Beach is a short walk away and the owner provides parking passes if you want to take the car. Another pass is provided for a beach in town. All in all a wonderful beach cottage that I would recommend to anyone.

  We had a great two weeks at Michele's cottage! The house was very comfortable and the yard was perfect for enjoying with friends and family. I hope we can return again in the future--it's a perfect Black Point getaway.

  My husband and I satyed in this cottage for 4 1/2 months with our two young children this past winter. Everything we needed was there and available to us. I even cooked Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings and didn't have any trouble! We wish we could have stayed longer in order to enjoy the outdoor amenities! The homeowners are wonderful and have paid attention to all the "details". The house looks as good in person as it does online. Thanks for a great time M & G!

  We had a wonderful week at this comfortable, well-appointed home. Our first vacation on the Connecticut shore couldn't have been more relaxing or convenient primarily because of the lovely accommodations. We look forward to our stay next year. Thanks so much! Jon and Kate

  We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this well-equipped,updated, and well- maintained cottage. Two full bathrooms made it easy for the family and the full back porch, which opened to a large back yard, was perfect for the dog. The large front screened porch was a great place for morning coffee and reading the paper. (The local paper can be picked up for 75cents at the paper box one short street away--go early!) The owner provides beach towels,too. A short walk to the beach or if you have lots of paraphanalia for the day, there is a parking lot. A perfect walking/biking neighborhood--bikes in the shed! Our family highly recommends this cottage and we wouldn't hesitate to rent again.
