This 3400 square foot family home with all day sunny southern exposure offers unobstructed views of Squaw Valley with an easy walk to the lifts. The low elevation affords easy access by car - no steep slippery roads to negotiate! If you know Squaw, you know this is the problem with most homes that have a view.
The elegant gourmet kitchen with Viking stove, new granite countertops and dual ovens opens to a large country pine dining area all with panoramic views of the ski area. Steps away is a large deck to enjoy the sun or watch the action on the slopes. Enjoy the ease of a gas fire in the main living room while overlooking the night skiing, or build your own wood fire in the adjacent rustic TV room. Off the family room is a six person hot tub again with wonderful views. Large glass accordion doors allow you to enjoy the view inside and warm, or open then to let the outside in. The sound system has speakers throughout the downstairs.
An airy master suite has outstanding ski area views, wood burning fireplace, and a new private bath featuring jetted tub and separate dual head shower/steamer. Two other bedrooms also face the ski area, one with twin beds the other with a queen. The fourth bedroom is more private with queen bed and private bathroom and shower. There is a spacious laundry off the bedrooms. Large two car garage and easy access drive way.
This is a wonderful home for families or couples looking for a close connection to the ski area yet a private sanctuary as well.

OH MY GOD!!! Michelle's home is amazing! This is a large house, but still feels like a home. It is very clean, comfortable, spacious, and has the most beautiful view of the mountain. There were nine of us including the toddler. The toddler ran around the house like crazy and didn't know what to do with herself because she had so much room to play in. The beds are comfortable and the temperature was perfect. Warm afternoon with cool evenings. The view is amazing. And we all love the fact that we didn't have to use the car since we got there. We did some evening walks and hikes...just take the flash light and it's perfect.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family has stayed in this comfortable and elegant home twice in the winter and it is just as it appears in the photos. The main floor is spacious, each room is large and has tall ceilings. The modern kitchen with granite countertops is well equiped and has high-end appliances. There is plenty of room on this floor for a large family or two to read, relax, cook, hot tub or watch TV. The views of Squaw are incredible! The second floor has four bedrooms and three full bathrooms including a beauiful master suite with large spa tub. The beds are very comfortable. Both times we rented, the house was spotless. We definitly would rent this house again!
