This 5 year old log home has everything you will need for a great family vacation or romantic weekend for two!! Large Loft overlooking the wall of windows to Lake Petenwell. Beautiful wood deck to sit out and enjoy the sunsets. Laundry facilities on the main floor, so no need to over pack. Appliance filled kitchen including side by side refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, & center island with 2 bar stools. The dining room is situated to get maximum views of the outdoors and sits 6 people comfortably.
Master bedroom has private bath with double sink and large shower. King size bed, dresser, night stand, & TV stand makes this the perfect hideaway! The 2nd bedroom is setup with a queen size bed, night stand, & dresser. The main bathroom is conveniently located across the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is located off the loft area on the 2nd Floor, there is a full size bed, a single bed, plus a single daybed. The Loft is open to the great room and bank of windows to Petenwell Lake. The loft has a Futon plus a single chase lounge that also can accomadate 1 person to sleep there. There is an Entertainment Unit equipped with a TV, DVD & VCR Player for the kids to hang out. Last but not least is the Great Room. An over-sized couch & chair along with an entertainment center makes Relaxing a breeze. 2 patio doors lead to the wood deck.
Outdoor furniture is perfect for the cookouts you will have. A Charcoal grill makes it easy for dad! Large yard for the kids to play. Property includes 2 acres, so plenty of room to turn your boats, & play toys around. Day dock is within walking distance of the cabin. So bring the jet skis & boats! Just 1 1/2 miles from Petenwell County Park. Daily & Weekly Dock Slips are available at the County Park. Close to ATV & snowmobile trails for your winter vacation. We stayed at the cabin for the Labor Day weekend 2011. The house was one of the cleanest ones that we have ever been to. It is also very well equipped. There was enough room for everybody. The cabin is located next to the road, but we saw very few cars, people were mostly driving on their four wheelers. Very quiet and peaceful. At one point the neighbors came and offered us some fire wood, that was so nice of them! The lake is awesome, the second largest in Wisconsin and the fishing was great. We caught mostly catfish, but also silvers, bass and perch. It was a short vacation for us, but well worth it!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a week, along with two other couples and their six kids. There was enough room for all of us! We just brought food and clothes, everything else was there! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away from the loud and crowded reality! I couldn't believe how quiet it was there! A perfect place to relax!

We stayed there for Memorial Day weekend and it was awesome!!! Relaxing and comfortable! The home was perfect for us and our 4 friends and their 3 kids. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get away to peaceful place. Kids enjoyed playing in the large front yard. The fishing was good too!!! We appreciate the great accommodation, roomy and clean. It went by way too fast so we can't wait to go back. Thanks Sandy :)

This is the perfect escape. Far enough away from the everyday routine with only a short drive. The cabin has everything you can ask for. We stayed 02/19/2009 - 02/22/2009. Very nice place - clean, quiet, and comfortable with all of the amenities you'll need. Seeing deer out the dining room window is always a pleasure! The cabin is close to Petenwell County Park for driving on to ice fish (or launching your boat in the summer).
