This beautifully decorated condo has fabulous BAY views from all sides. To see exact location, go to Google maps and Google 4302 Bay Beach Ln. 33931, use arrow to the right to see entrance to condo complex. For an additional sum of $125 per week Including Tax, we will reserve a covered cabana for two (more can use it and they can be viewed at the Holiday Inn Web site) at the Holiday Inn Resort a 3 minute drive from the condo, which provides the convenience of free parking for those reserving a cabana. This is perfect for a family of small children and very convenient for all beach lovers. Pincher's Crab Shack is also located at the Holiday Inn Resort for great ocean front dining and great live music. Or you can reserve a day for $25 or reserve the week when you arrive. For the fitness buffs, walk to the private beach entrance 10 minutes away which is located on Estero Blvd near the entrance to Bay Beach Lane or if you have chairs, umbrellas, etc. drive (5 minutes away) to the south end of island cross the bridge and park at Lover's Key Park ( after crossing the bridge, pull over to the right and go directly into the parking area) to enjoy the beach. Parking is $1.00 for each adult for the entire day and is on the honor system. Parking is also available near the many beach entrances off Estero Blvd. where the flags indicate parking. It is metered and is $1.00 an hour as of 2008.
The condo is a corner unit with windows looking over the bay, and a large lanai that looks over the canal and bay. From the balcony of the front entrance you can view the large heated swimming pool, and the public golf course. A key is provided to the Tennis Courts which are on Lennel Rd (around the corner from Bay Beach Lane down from the CVS pharmacy) and is available to tenants of Bay Beach Lane. Bikes and boats can be rented nearby at Santini Plaza. Take a sunset cruise to watch the dolphins. A public Trolly is available a short walk away which takes you to either Lovers Key State Park, or the fun north end of Fort Myers Beach and Bowditch Point. If you prefer to try different beaches for sunning and relaxing, take a short drive to any one of the many public beach accesses where metered parking is available or take the trolly. The trolly has space for bikes in case you explore by bike and want to rest for a while.
The furniture is attractive and comfortable. There are two Queen size beds, one in each of the bedrooms, and 2 foam mattresses for those grandchildren or extra guests which can be used anywhere.
The sun streams in during the morning onto your large lanai, living room, kitchen and large dining area. The views from the sliding glass doors leading onto the lanai are unobstructed views of the canal, and back bay. Watch the boats go by as they pass under your lanai. The four other windows look out onto the bay for fabulous sunrises. There is a dining area off the living room, and another large dining area with two large windows off the kitchen for card playing, dining, or just enjoying another cup of coffee while gazing over the water. The Gulf of Mexico can be seen beyond the golf course from the entrance balcony. If you love Fort Myers Beach, you will love this condo.
Family friendly it is. Grandparents usually rent and invite their children and grandchildren. This unit is privately situated on the end of the building. The building itself is set back from the entrance road, so the sounds of the birds flying through the palm trees can be enjoyed. Walk or bike to the beach entrance that takes you to the beautiful beach area and naturalist area. Another pleasant walk will take you to activities at the Holiday Inn Resort for sunset cocktails, great dining at Pincher's, entertainment at the Tiki Bar or rent a cabana and enjoy the beach $25 a day or $125 per week with free parking. Santini Plaza with wonderful shops, restaurants and entertainment is also nearby. All ages love this area of Florida. If appreciation of nature, watching for dolphins in the waterways, gazing at beautiful views, dining out, listening to music at local entertainment spots is your idea of a perfect vacation then this is the place for you.
