Staying at a place like this will make your well deserved time in Florida all the more special. This spacious 3 bedroom 2nd floor townhouse provides a stunning view of the Myakka River and Florida Wildlife.
Located in Riverwood- the most desirable gated golf community in the Port Charlotte area. Riverwood features a beautiful 4 star rated golf course, an activity center with a first rate pool and fitness center and tennis facility.
Ponds and nature areas that are home to an abundance of wildlife are found throughout the Riverwood community. There is even a bald eagle nesting area on property. The entire property, including the golf course is maintained in pristine condition. The residents are active, friendly and low key. In short Riverwood is a great place to relax and enjoy the warm Florida winters.
You can spend your days at Riverwood taking on the challenge of Riverwood's championship golf course (or one of many other great courses nearby), taking walks, riding your bike, playing a few sets of tennis or hanging out at the pools. Or you may want to take a short 20 minute drive to the beaches at Boca Grande, Englewood or Venice.
Boca Grande is resort island that features miles of beautiful beaches and historical Florida architecture. There is a variety of dining options, fishing charters and multi-million dollar beach front estates. A fun place to spend an afternoon or evening.
But we haven't forgotten that you'll spend a good deal of time at home and we've spared no expense to make sure it is everything you've hoped for. The 12 foot ceilings create a dramatic spacious feel while the classic casual furnishings and decor create the perfect combination of style and comfort.
You'll enjoy the dramatic water view from the living room, kitchen, master bedroom and lanai. The kitchen has a dining area and snack bar. There is also a dining room and two spacious guest rooms. One of the guest rooms has a large TV and couch along with a queen size bed.
The living room and bedrooms all have TVs. Three of the TVs are high definition flat screens. For your convenience we installed high speed wireless Internet and there is a desk in the living room so you have a comfortable place to e-mail friends, get some work done or just go on-line. You also have FREE long distance calling to anywhere in the continental US.
We have just completed furnishing and decorating this property and are making it available for the first time; January 1st 2008. The property is well described by the photos and list of what is provided. The view is amazing and worth the 17 stair climb to get to the upstair location. Kitchen is suited to gourmet cooking should you chose and bedrooms are comfortable with a good supply of linens. Riverwood's activity centre has daily activities. Shopping is close by as is the Tampa Bay Rays spring training stadium. Numerous good restaurants within 30 minutes. I was here from Feb. 1- March 31, 2012Recommended for: Tourists without a car.
