Spacious, very comfortable condo, well appointed with lots of light. Scrupulously clean, wonderful, attentive and available hosts. Excellent location for walking, biking, using sky train and aqua bus. Also secure parking. Quiet side of the building, looking out on trees-spectacularly in bloom for us (April)!

We stayed for a week at the end of February and early March. The condo is just as pictured and as described. It's clean, recently renovated, nicely equipped, and well located. The bed is comfortable. Kenn and Nancy live in the same building so they are accessible, available and their caring about the place shows. We walked to Granville Island and to downtown. The Skytrain station is very close, as is a grocery store, liquor store, and restaurants. The fitness centre and pool were an added bonus. As an illustration of their great hospitality, the owners had placed fresh milk, orange juice, pastries, and coffee in the kitchen. This was very appreciated since out flight was delayed and we arrived very late. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks in December and very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a high-rise building in the False Creek area right across from Science World. The apartment looks over an inner courtyard and is very quiet. Kenn and Nancy live in the same building and were very attentive to our needs. The location is a 7 minute walk along the seawall to the amenities at the former Olympic Village and there are many fine restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip. Just returned home after our one week stay at this lovely condo. Visiting our daughter who is completing her schooling out in Vancouver. We loved coming back after long days of sightseeing to this very comfortable condo. Our daughter joined us there after her practicum at the end of the day and we would go for walks along the seawall. Everything is close by. We used the skytrain and bikes provided for transportation. The underground parking provided was safe. The condo owners Kenn and Nancy were more than kind and helpful. There is a lovely pool, hot tub and gym room to use and my husband enjoyed that very much.Don't hesitate to book this condo. We hope to return soon!

Very well kept apartment and the owners (Nancy and Ken) are super helpful. There are simple reminders/ instructions to help you operate the appliances (but of course you can call them) and Vancouver brochures to provide you with all kind of local infomation. Location of the apartment is perfect and you can drive/ or use public transport to go anywhere around town easily. The bed is very comfortable, plenty of towels to use and the WIFI works well! I need to thank Nancy for the OJ and milk too!

This condo totally exceeded our expectations in every way. It is centrally located for transportation, recreation and dining. We used the SkyTrain to access the airport from only one block away and rode it to Chinatown and the Waterfront as well. Nancy and Ken are magnificent hosts and guided us through multiple questions about our first trip to Vancouver. The bikes were the frosting "on the cake" and provided us with many hours of recreation sightseeing on Granville Island and Stanley Park. In summary, this condo is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and very well located. We can't wait to visit Vancouver again!

Every possible amenity has been thought of and provided. Whether on foot or by bicycle or public transportation, the location is perfect for exploring this beautiful city. Our thanks to Kenn and Nancy, model hosts who showed us every kindness and consideration.

The owners, Nancy and Ken, were very nice and they even stocked the fridge with milk, juice and a few cans of pop. Ken was so nice that he went out of his way to get a bike small enough for our 5 years old. The one bedroom unit itself was nicely decorated and there was also a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Our kid loved the fireplace. The kitchen was also quite well equipped and stocked. Unlike some other units we were interested in, underground parking was also included. The location was very convenient - the Skytrain station was just half a block away and the Aquabus going to Granville Island was about 5 to 10 minutes walk. Grocery shopping was a bit too much of a walk for us with a 5 years old, then again it was just a few minutes of driving. We also enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi, for the few times we used them, we were the only ones around. The area was surprisingly quiet considering the main street location and the proximity of the Skytrain station (in fact we never heard any noises from the Skytrains). We stayed there for a week and highly recommend the place. If we have to complain, it would be the occasional "tick-tick-tick" noise made by the fridge which kind of scared my kid in the middle of the night. He ended up sleeping with his mom in the bedroom with me sleeping in the living room. Frankly, the noise didn't bother me at all, then again, a 5 years old could have a more active imagination.

Owner response: Sorry to hear your son was bothered by the fridge . We will make sure to show future guests how to turn off the icemaker.

Thank you Ken and Nancy for allowing us to stay in your cozy condo. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed every aspect of the place; especially the pool, Jacuzzi, work out facilities, the bicycles and the easy access to all forms of transportation. There is absolutely no need for a car with this place. I can't imagine a more comfortable and convenient location. Your suggestion to take the Pacific Coach to the ferry and Victoria was spot on. It dropped us off just a few blocks from our next VRBO rental! Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality. We'll see you soon. Mick and Janice.

This is definitely an outstanding property: tastefully and well-furnished, down to beach towels and bicycles for your use, a well-appointed kitchen, and absolutely spotless! We felt totally comfortable and relaxed there, and also appreciate the great hospitality, personal touches, and friendliness of owners Kenn and Nancy, who manage and care for the property themselves. Their personal caring shows! Location right at the end of False Creek is terrific, near train station and Sky Train. We walked everywhere: south side of the Creek to Granville Island, north side of Creek to downtown, and Creek side clear out to English Bay. This was our second time staying in this condo; it will not be our last.

Kenn and Nancy could not have provided us with a better home-away-from-home! The pictures do not do the condo justice and the location could not be more centrally located. Within walking distance to most everything you need. Super secure parking and building, so no worries. Kenn and Nancy even childproofed the outlets and had nursery water dinner and breakfast already stocked. When we return to Vancouver, we will stay here again.

My husband and I just spent a week at Kenn and Nancy's condo in order to take in the Grey Cup festivities. The condo was in the perfect spot to walk to BC Place for the game or to take the Skytrain down to the Convention Centre where all the partying was going on. The condo had all the requirements, from a cheese grator to a hair dryer and the gas fireplace gave that nice cosy feel when you came in out of the rain. The condo was spotless like others have noted and the coffee and juice in the fridge for the next morning's start was very much appreciated. We will certainly check on the availability of this condo when we return to Vancouver for a visit and will be only too happy to recommend this to all of our friends. Thanks Kenn and Nancy for the use of your condo , we really enjoyed ourselves.

I am so happy that I found this property. My husband works at a resort & gets great discounts, but we decided to go VRBO that way we could cook our own meals & not be spending money eating out 3 times a day. Can I just say that was the best decision ever? No hotel could've ever given us the experience we had with Nancy & Ken(owners). For starters, our flight arrived extremely early in the morning. For a hotel, we would have had to wait til 3pm to check in. Not here. Not only did they allow us early check-in, but they met us downstairs in the lobby, gave us the royal tour, and had lit the fire, and were all smile all before the sun came up. They were lovely enough to stock our fridge & cabinets with several staples. AND they bought us a giant pumpkin to carve. ABOVE & BEYOND!!! The condo was amazing. Beautifully decorated. All the comforts of your own home. FIreplace was the best treat after a cold day about the city. Location was prime. Everything was within walking or biking distance. Several markets nearby made it easy for us to shop and cook at "home". Felt very safe & secure as well. Please do yourself a favor and book this rental. I promise that you will be delighted-by the condo, location, but most of all, but the extreme "wow" factor that the owners provide!!

I loved being able to jump on the skytrain just around the corner and then the sky was the limit.. literally! went to a concert, went to river rock casino, shopped on robson, dined at joe fortes, bought breakfast and art at granville island market... i loved it! and the best part is, you dont have to drive and park anywhere! it doesnt get anymore convenient than this.. they have everything there, even beer, and coffee, complete with sugar and real milk.. the bed was comfy and there was a computer with wireless for guest use.... awesome!

This was our first experience with VRBO and Ken and Nancy have sure set the bar high! They are gracious hosts who make themselves available. All possible amenities are provided with nice little details including coffee, milk and a few drinks in the fridge on your arrival. Having bikes available is wonderful considering the close proximity to sea wall access. The location is also perfect. Downtown is a short walk away and the skytrain station a block away gives you access to the rest of the city. I'm afraid to try elsewhere now that I know how well a VRBO condo can managed. Big thanks to Ken and Nancy!

We had a truly excellent experience with this condo in Vancouver! Kenn and Nancy are the perfect hosts: friendly, helpful, low key, flexible (e.g., with the exact timing of our travel arrangements) and knowledgeable. It was fun to talk with them. The place itself was classy and well decorated. We would echo the positive comments made by earlier reviewers, but emphasize a few things still more. First, we didn't appreciate until we arrived how perfect the location is. The condo is only a block from the sky train, a kilometer (now I sound like a local) to major bus routes, and within an easy walk to major attractions such as Chinatown, Science World and the seawall. Second, the indoor swimming pool and exercise room in the bottom of the condo were great attractions for our teenagers, who used them every day. Finally, given a place such as this you really don't need a car. We had expected to rent one for at least a day or two but eventually opted not to do so; Nancy and Kenn indicated others had come to a similar conclusion. Vancouver is a great city, and the rental experience only made it better.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Kenn and Nancy and their excellent rental condo. Everything about the place is first class, with no detail overlooked. Despite a lengthy flight delay which resulted in an unanticipated 1 a.m. arrival, Kenn greeted us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home, and he continued to be terrificly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. (We wish Kenn and Nancy were our neighbors year round, to be honest.) The condo itself is wonderful -- large, airy, comfortable, secure, beautifully decorated, superbly equipped, and well located, with an excellent gym, pool, and hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience, from the first e-mail we sent until checkout, and will definitely make this condo our Vancouver home when we visit.

Anyone should be pleased with every aspect of Kenn's and Nancy's apartment in Vancouver. Due to circumstances, we needed a place away from family after the Christmas/New Year's period. However, it became a focal point for grandchildren using the pool and excellent location for walks to downtown. It has all the amenities, comfortable, and lot's of space. The internet was a bonus, as well as underground secure parking. Obviously we were there prior to the Winter Olympic's, but someone is going to "luck out" with the location and access to most venues. Many thanks Kenn & Nancy. We'll be back. Bob & Myrna.

I stayed at Nancy and Kenn's wonderful condo during the entire Christmas vacation. My boyfriend and my 9 year old daughter were just as impressed with all the features the condo had to offer. Originally, I am from Vancouver and I chose this location because the skytrain is 2 minute walk away. I usually rent a car when visiting Vancouver, but since the skytrain was so easily accessible, I decided that would be the quickest and most fun way to explore the city during the busy holiday season. The condo's location is ideal as there are many places just a short distance away-either by skytrain, walking or biking. The 24 hour McDonalds is 2 short blocks away. The Starbucks is on the same block, Chinatown is a block away, Science World is across the street. A free public children’s playground with spectacular views no matter where you are standing is just outside of Science World. The skytrain stops at all the malls and major grocery stores. It also goes to all the main tourist areas and takes you to the seabus station. Within the condo, there is a 24 hour hot tub, pool, sauna and fitness area! When we went skiing/snowboarding at Blackcomb-Whistler, the hot tub and pool were great to come home to! The kitchen is beautifully done with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. We did some cooking during the holidays and were pleased with the kitchen and everything it had to offer. The fireplace in the living room really brought warmth and ambiance especially when we had guests visiting. This was the first time I have used VRBO and I am happy to have experienced it through Kenn and Nancy's condo. I am extremely impressed with the location, cleanliness, features and quality of this vacation rental and would recommend it for anyone who wants an enjoyable, safe, relaxing and comfortable vacation.

A great location and for a great vacation at an excellent value. The owners have really thought through making this space a warm, comfortable, and practical place for visitors. The unit is extremely clean, and tastefully decorated. It is quiet, safe, and friendly. Everything you need is there - forgot to bring an umbrella? There are two in the closet. Planning a trip to the beach? A coolpack and towels are provided. We made great use of the bicycles (helmets and locks provided) to ride the full length of the seawall, accessible right across the street. Ride up to Stanley Park, or to Kitsilano beach. Everything is accessible. Prefer to ride the skytrain? Just around the corner, with a Starbucks on the same block. A few blocks away is an excellent Asian market with fun food items to explore. Yaletown and other downtown neighborhoods are an enjoyable walk, but bus service is also easily available. A great treat is that Granville Market is a 10-15 minute bike ride away, just past the beautiful new Olympic Village and through the gorgeous parks along the waterfront walking/bike path. There, you can buy the most delicious food and ingredients to cook up a memorable meal. Excellent bakeries, fruit vendors and do not miss Oyama Sausage (in addition to the dozens of stores and art gelleries) and an occasional farmer's market. There is wireless internet as well as a PC available for guest use. Plenty of towels, very practical and well-equipped kitchen. Overall a great place to explore the city (take note of the deck of cards providing advice on many walking tours, they are excellent!). A higher speed internet connection would complete the picture for a 100/100 rating (The slower DSL didn't quite cut it for me). I highly recommend this unit, and was grateful for the availability and friendliness of the owners, who live in the same building.

This was my first rental with VRBO and I was very pleased with my choice. The ad is informative and appealing and the condo is just as great as it appears. The location is central to all modes of transportation with easy access from the airport; however, Vancouver is a city to be walked. You can walk downtown in a short time. Kenn and Nancy provide a home away from home. It is comfortable, spacious and clean with abundant supplies. The condo has been redecorated so everything is new and modern. They welcome you with coffee, juice, basic supplies and offers of help if needed. Upon arrival, Nancy invited me to go with her to get my groceries. In the unit are many items of tourist information (activities, bus schedules, dining)which they have collected and organized. These are most helpful when planning your day. Kenn and Nancy are wonderful people who are sincerely interested in their guests. Stay here;you will leave with good memories.

We stayed in the condo while we were in Vancouver for some medical reasons and it was a wonderful place to come back to after long days. The owners were so fabulous and very easy to deal with. They are there to help with anything. The condo's location is ideal for everything there is to see and do in Vancouver. The condo is in immaculate condition and we were very happy with our experience there. If and when we are back in Vancouver, we will definitely be calling Kenn and Nancy first!

We very much enjoyed staying at this condo. It is spacious, incredibly clean and had everything we needed to make the stay a good one. The building is very secure and the location, practically on the seawall, is a definite plus. Kenn and Nancy were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here the last week in October. The condo is spacious and comfortable, and having the bikes is a great perk since the seawall is right across the street. Kenn and Nancy are very friendly and helpful, as well. Overall a very positive experience!

A fabulous apartment with fantastic owners! We had an excellent week at this apartment in late July, which had everything we could have asked for and more. It is immaculately kept and the location was excellent for all areas of Vancouver, including walking into downtown. I would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Kenn and Nancy!

August 15 to August 19, 2008 A special thank you to Nancy and Kenn for their hospitality and the fantastic condo that they own in downtown Vancouver. Everything was perfect. Nothing was missing. The situation could not be better. Just in front of the skytrain and the aquabus, few step from the bus and train terminal, walking distance from all points of interest in Vancouver. I recommend it to everybody that likes to stay in a home away from home. Thanks again, Isabelle and Dominique, Montreal, Qc

The family (including 2 kids) stayed during the period 5 – 14 July 2008 and I should say that we are very satisfied with the accommodation. We miss it. It is nicely decorated, adequately furnished (from WiFi to the variety of kitchen utensils) and maintained in an excellent condition making us comfortably feel that it is “a home away from home.” The accommodation is centrally and conveniently located to skytrain station, main bus routes, train and greyhound bus station, and Chinatown is just within 5 – 10 min walk. The accommodation is situated in a quiet setting, and the condo is well managed My sons highly appreciate the provision of bicycles (even a small one for my kid of 8) and the superb cycling path near Science World just opposite leading all the way to Stanley Park.Ken and Nancy are very kind, considerate and helpful, and thanks for keeping a good place that makes our trip to Vancouver so wonderful.

We spent a week in Vancouver. The condo was perfect! The owners are fantastic. It is nicely decorated, near everything and made us feel at home. We were able to really relax. It was nice having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Do not be nervous about wiring the money for the deposit to them. It is better than them having to deal wiht the CC companies. You will be very happy with your choice in condos. We will be back!

Here are the best things about this place. 1. It is immaculate and well-maintained. 2. The owners care. They want you to have a good time and they want you to love staying there. They do lots of little things for you like juice in the fridge on arrival and coffee and cream and sugar, and even a book suggesting activities and restaurants. On top of that, they are super friendly and helpful. We felt like we were a guest in their own home. 3. Location is great. Bed is great. Neat sunroom/den is great with sunshine streaming between the trees. Building is classy without being ostentatious. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Location, location, location. Isn't that what most of us look for when we're searching for a place to stay on our vacation? Well, this is the place for you if you want to be within easy walking distance of every form of transportation in Vancouver: Skytrain, Aquabus, Pacific Coach lines (which will take you on the ferry to Victoria), city bus, and rail service. This suite has everything you have come to expect from a private rental and it has more, the knowledge and expertise of the owners, who are both lifelong Vancouver residents. They have assembled an informational notebook with restaurant recommendations, sights not to miss, transportation schedules, etc. And they also have at your disposal bicycles, helmets and maps for a "not to miss" ride to/through Stanley Park. We would highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Vancouver. We had a wonderful week there and look forward to returning.

We spent a wonderful Christmas and New Year in Vancouver. Your suite was very comfortable and lovely. Close to everything and yet quiet enough to chill out after full and exciting days in the city. We will definately come back.
