Among acres of cedar, fir and pine forest is this private park-like setting. Feel cozy and relaxed while you stay in our comfortable and well-equipped cottage with a fully equipped kitchen-livingroom, laundry/mud room, one bathroom and one bedroom with a queen size bed. The cottage accommodates up to five guests with a convertible queen size sofabed in the livingroom, plenty of extra bedding and an extra thick foam pad for the fifth person. Outdoors within close proximity of the cabin there also is space for the placement of small camping tents for those who also want to enjoy an outdoor living experience.
Cabina de la Koi is the great escape where peace and quiet is all yours if you wish. Gaze at the moon, stars and planets at night and take in the beautiful scenery during the day. There is a surprising amount to see, do and explore right around Cabina de la Koi. Or just feed the koi fish in the pond and count the turtles. Walk around the scenic property and become conscious of the true serenity that is yours here. Cabina de la Koi is where you can go to leave your cares and responsibilities where the pavement ends.
Other guests while staying at Cabina de la Koi have gone hiking in Lassen National Park, Broke-off Meadow, Bumpass Hell and Shasta Caverns. Summit Lake, Burney Falls, Reflection Lake and Kings Creek Falls are also popular destinations for many of our guests. Reservations canceled less than 2 weeks before arrival may forfeit deposit if
cabin cannot be rented.

We are on the edge of a valley of ponds, forests, vineyards, wineries and beautiful scenery, located within an hour of Lassen Park and only 45 minutes from the cities of Red Bluff or Redding - far enough to get away and close enough to get there.

Sitting on the dock outside the cabin with my favorite drink, feeling the warm sun on my face and body, smelling the clean fresh air and listening to....those gentle sounds of nature that you can only hear when all is quiet around you.
Owner's Map of Manton Valley
My husband, Nathan and I purchased this property in 2007 as a second home and for potential retirement in the years ahead. Later we purchase the parcel to the west, increasing the size to 20 acres of walkable rolling forest. We find the peace and tranquility draws us back often to rejuvinate and restore our well-being. We decided to make the property available to others to enjoy this very special place when we are not using it.
