Welcome to the Cowlitz Riverfront Mountain Cabin!
The Cowlitz Riverfront Mountain Cabin was completed in September. In this custom Craftsman log retreat, the warmth and beauty of rustic wood surrounds you. The cabin boasts an array of amenities to ensure an experience of comfort and enjoyment in every way.
Inside the two-story home you'll find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms -- plenty of space for up to 6 guests (and, one flat rate covers ALL your guests).
There's a kitchen with all-new appliances, living room with cozy gas stove, flat screen LCD TV with HD DVD, 140 DirecTV channels, DVD library, surround sound stereo system (with CD player and an iPod docking station), a laundry room with washer and dryer, and even an office area too (free wireless DSL service as well).
Outdoors, the covered spa overlooks the Cowlitz River and nearby wildlife. The covered porch offers views of the mountains and river, along with a gas BBQ and patio table and chairs. Located in a Recreational Community Association called Timberline Village, you'll have full access to the association facilities, including the tennis courts, playground, playing field, club house, and seasonal swimming pools. The club house is also available for rental for special events, such as weddings and family reunions.
Get out and enjoy nature at this year-round recreational paradise, with fishing, hiking, climbing, golf, winter sports (sledding, skiing, snowboarding), snowmobiling, horseback riding, four wheeling, mountain biking, exploring mountain meadows, waterfalls, and volcanoes, wildlife viewing, and more.
It's just a short drive to White Pass Ski Resort, an uncrowded, family-friendly ski area. Visit the natural wonders at Mt. Rainier National Park (just a few miles to the southeast entrance). Shop and dine in quaint mountain villages like Packwood and Ashford.
The cabin is also conveniently located near Mount St. Helen's and Mount Adams, and Mayfield, Riffe, and Rimrock lakes. Whether watching the wildlife by the river while soaking in the spa after a day of recreation, or relaxing by the fire, you can be sure there will be something for everyone.
