A very cozy, private and cute log cabin in the West Shore next to a conservancy land, 5 minutes drive to skiing at Homewood, less than 30 minutes to Alpine or Squaw skiing and less than 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach. Walk to many hiking trails and enjoy the secluded West Shore trails. The cabin is 15 minutes to Tahoe City and is a perfect winter or summer vacation home.
Features include a hot tub on the large deck, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining/living area, a very large deck for outdoor entertaining, a large master bedroom on the second floor with a king size bed, a second very large room on the 2nd floor with a queen size bed, a toddler bed, and a full bath on the 2nd floor. The first floor has the third bedroom with a queen bed, the 2nd full bath and a laundry room.
The cabin has a 2-car garage with an automatic door opener.
There is a wood burning stove in the living room plus a gas burning wall heater on the 1st floor.
The two bedrooms on the 2nd floor have electrical wall heaters.

We have stayed in this cabin both for winter & summer and LOVED it! It is a really charming cabin. The two upstairs bedrooms are huge, and the one on the first floor is just the perfect size. The kitchen is fully stocked and the linen closet is full of fresh towels. It's very clean. I love the wood burning stove in the living room. This cabin's location is perfect! It's very private ( in the woods), yet very close to attractions such as Homewood ski resort, Sunnyside restaurant and Fire sign restaurant (a must do for breakfast lovers!). I can't wait till we go there for our next family vacation.
Recommended for:Families with young children.
