It's been a year since we have stayed, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share how impressed I was with the owner. We had to postpone our trip due to my mother having emergency surgery. Phil allowed us to change dates with no hassel and went out of is way to accomodate us, even allowing us to arrive late (midnight) and stay an extra night. The place is just as beautiful as in the pictures. I regret that we only went down to the beach across from the condo once. It is easily accessible with elevator. Pool was wonderful, as was linens, towels, and kitchen. Only tip, if it is hot summer, you need to open all windows and use ceiling fans to cool place down. Dana Point is beautiful area with nice town, beaches, restaurants. We drove to LA way too much and got caught in ugly traffic. Next time we will stay in LA to do LA stuff and in Dana Point to see San Diego, LAguna, Dana Point. There is just so much to see and do in the area. You will not be disappointed in condo's luxurious towels, linens, flat screens, kitchen, pool, jacuzzi! Thank you Phil for wonderful trip! The very BEST owner to work with and we stay in many VRBO rentals!!

We have stayed at a few other condos in Dana Point and this is by far the best. When it says it has a fully equiped kitchen, it is true. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook a nice meal the same way you would at home. the condo was very clean. very nice linens, thick soft towles, very comfortable beds. It is an upstairs unit so it has high ceilings and has a very open floor plan. It also has new windows and doors as many other units do not. The owners were very easy to work with and very accomidating, our entire stay was stress free. We will definitely stay here again.

We were in the area to look into Southern California colleges for my daughter. The Coastal Chateau was such a wonderful "home" to return to after sometimes crazy days. My daughter nicknamed her bed "the cloud" it is so comfortable, we definitely missed it in our hotel room when driving home. Even the towels are luxurious and comfy. And you can't put a price on having a washer and drier in the unit or the ability to feel like you're at home even when you're on vacation. It was around 30 minutes from Disneyland area where we had a great couple of days looking at schools and shopping. My daughter and I also really enjoyed watching the surfers down on the beach in the morning and evening as we got a great walk in. Very peaceful and wonderful... and we are definitely missing it as we came home to rain and snow.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your condo. The location is great, the condo itself is beautifully furnished, and the decor is outstanding. Your attention to detail, and service is nothing short of outstanding. This condo will be our first choice on any future trips to the area. This condo was absolutely wonderful! We went down over the Holiday's to visit family and everything was in place and ready for us. We felt so welcome and relaxed. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more!! The location was perfect. We were just steps to the beach and not far from the pool area which was also beautiful-well cared for and clean. Dana Point is also a great place and very close to most attractions. We were at the San Diego Zoo in about an hour and had a great time going up and down the coast visiting all the piers and popular beach towns. There was nothing that we could have needed that wasn't available for us to use. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit down to California to see family!! Hopefully sooner than later. This condo is beautiful and offers everything you will need for your relaxing California vacation. Our Family of 4 recently spent 2 fun filled weeks in Dana Point and this condo was the perfect home base!! Clean, spacious with all the extras. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!

We loved the comfort and upscale decor of this beach condo. The beach is a short walk away and beautiful, not crowded, very safe and clean. The condo has everything you could need and is family friendly.

"We had a great time in California made all the better for the place we had. When we arrived the Condo was very clean and well equipped it had all you could want, it was home very quickly. To our surprise and delight all you needed for the beach including towels was there and the beach is wonderful. The owner was very helpful he even arranged for our Tickets for the Lakers game to be on the side the day we arrived. Any problem we had he sorted immediately for instance we are not used to cable so could not work the TV a quick call and the problem solved (we had pushed the buttons in the wrong sequence) and my son and daughter were happy. There are plenty of shops near by but you do need a car and I would recommend Sat Nav (GPS). If you go to LA for the Parks Universal is a little drive but worth the extra time in the car. The Condo has a folder with lots of information also broad band available. We visited when the whales were migrating and went on a boat trip recommended by the owner it was great and we did see a whale. I would love to visit again and would recommend this Condo to friends without hesitation. Chris"

If you’ve never rented off of VRBO before, put your skepticism to rest. We found peace, privacy, and paradise in this immaculate condo, with more amenities than any hotel can offer. Ideal location in a beautiful town with everything you need just down the road…grocery store, pharmacy, Starbucks, many pristine beaches, the harbor, restaurants, easy access to the major freeways. Less than an hour to Disney, Hollywood, and Legoland. Never slept in a bed as comfy as these, our kids enjoyed the beach toys and game boards for our use, loved having an internet connection for our laptop, and with a washer and dryer right there we returned home with zero laundry to do.
