I wanted to thank you so much for the use of your lovely vacation home. My husband and I enjoyed the comforts of a “home” environment MUCH more than a high rise hotel. We also loved being able to walk to “town” for a cup of coffee in the morning, and the thrice weekly farmer’s market at the little shopping area was a delightful way to buy fresh vegetables for dinner. My son spent almost the entire time snorkeling off your beach. There were so many huge green turtles swimming right off the shore! Of all the places we went snorkeling, “our” beach was the highlight. Thank you, again, SO much. It meant a lot to our family to be able to spend this time together at your lovely property.

What amazing views from this condo! You'll see surfers along with sea turtles and whales as you face the islands of Lanai and Molokai. We had a fantastic time.

This condo is in a superb location right at the ocean and maybe 5 minutes from the airport. My wife and I have never been to Hawaii and it was simply beautiful. Being able to swim with the sea turtles was just as advertised. They come to the deck every morning and evening and are wonderful to look at and take pictures of. I highly recommend Polynesian Shores and I would love to stay here again on my next trip to Maui. Thanks Arnold and God bless.

my wife and I stayed from Jan14 -21. after a long plane trip we arrived late and exhausted. we were thankful Arnold had provided exact directions to the condo as finding any place in the dark for the first time may have been frustrating. the pre-trip instruction sheet provided the week preceding our visit proved to be very valuable and removed all pertinent questions. the condo itself is very comfortable and CLEAN. the tile floors and marble countertops give that rich atmosphere of mexican all-inclusve hotels. the king size bed was wonderful and the breeze flowed from the bedroom windows throughout the condo to make the evenings very refreshing. all immenities were provided as listed along with the beach chairs and towels which were greatly appreciated as we used the pool and the small beach area daily. the grounds were immaculate with daily cleaning and othr maintenance being carried out. the beach area was small, not great for swimming and not recommended for little children - rocky. there was a fair amount of street traffic noise - especially from 5:00 am on.as people went to work, tour groups picked up, garbage collection, etc. quiet time is from 10:00-8:00 and is generally observed -- not a major problem I will be recommending this condo to friends and relatives for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. don't believe those who say there is nothing to do on Mauii. every day we had there was full, with beautiful weather and friendly, smiling people. hard not to smile in paradise.

We stay at this property in Christmast time and it was the best vacation ever. The complex of property are very quiet and nice, and mostly the location are very convinient. This unit is very clean and neat, we both are very satisfied feel like home. Our favorite things were turtles swimming in the morning in front of our complex. We would recommended this unit to our family and friends.

Maui could not be a better place to vacation as there is so much to do. Polynesian Shores is a perfect place for families as it is a small complex with perfectly manicured grounds, pool, and beautiful patio overlooking the ocean. Before you book this condo , give the complex a call first as there prices are a lot lower that this unit. One thing is that if anything goes wrong , the complex is there is fix the problem. The owner of this unit does not live in Maui. When we arrived, there was constuction going on in the unit beside us. They did inform the owner but we were never told .Also the bedroom window faces the road , so it can be noisy at night with cars going by. When you rent from the Polnesian Shores directly . they have a welcome basket with essentials to help you out for a day or two. There was nothing for us when we arrived. Nothing can take away from a wonderful family holiday, but I do recommend you do your homework on the condo you want to stay in.
Owner response:I'm not quite sure what to say here, but after receiving 4 separate emails on the day of their arrival about things they were unhappy about, I knew these folks were destined to be dissatisfied with anything we could do for them. It's tough sometimes to please everyone all of the time, and sometimes you just can't win. I wish them all the best of luck and satisfaction on any future vacations they may experience.

Re: Condo #112, which my husband, son and I stayed in for over a week this summer... Polynesian Shores is located where I would consider the most wonderful area of Maui. There’s plenty of sun, but not too hot and the trade winds are perfect, just enough to keep you cool. It’s close to everything, snorkeling spots, beautiful beaches, Lahaina, and the best restaurants and stores. Although it felt as if we were just one of a few around us, it took hardly any time at all to hit the hot spots. The condo itself is very clean and doesn’t have bugs. It’s bright and cheerful with plenty of windows, and the three of us fit comfortably. It’s fully stocked with amenities like what you’d find in a hotel along with all the comforts of home too. The sofa bed is so comfortable and the tile floors were a plus, we didn’t have to worry about an accidental spill ruining anything. The view from the condo is dead center in front of the ocean, so we were able to enjoy the ever changing shades of blue and an occasional boat passing by. The atmosphere is very safe and peaceful, the neighborhood is nice and it isn’t noisy like we’ve come to expect because of the time of year we vacation. The grounds are well manicured; the pool is clean as well as heated, and not crowded. The parking spot and laundry room is close to the condo, and the barbecues steps away on the ocean deck are clean. It was fun chatting with people barbecuing and enjoying the sunset. We will definitely be returning as often as we can, this condo made our vacation much nicer than we ever dreamed, what more could we ask for?

My wife and I just completed two weeks on Maui, at this condo. It is just as pictured. It is not large but is very adequate for two people. It had all the necessities for a two week stay. The grounds of the complex are beautiful and the sunsets are magnificent. We must have taken a hundred sunset pictures. The owner was very helpful and accessable when we ran into a problem with the in room safe. The previous occupant had locked it when they left. The condo location was convenient and very easy to find the first time. The Old Lahina Luau is only 10 minutes away and if you only do one luau, this should be the one. Safeway and Riteaid are also only 10 minutes, as is old town Lahina. This is a vey good Maui vacation location.

We stayed at this wonderful property in April 2010 and I must say it was the best vacation ever. The Condo was immaculate and the view is breathtaking! Prior to arrival we received all the details of the condo and once we arrived everything was perfect as expected. The area is quiet without all the hustle and bustle of a busy resort yet we still felt like we were at an exclusive timeshare. The property is superbly maintained and the guests/tenants were fantastic. Watching the evening sunset at the property is a must do! Each morning we awoke to the sound of chirping birds and enjoyed our coffee overlooking the ocean. We were there for the end of whale watching season which was spectacular to see from the condo property. I highly recommend booking this condo for your next Maui Vacation! We are looking forward to returning in the next year or two and definitely plan on booking this condo again! Cheryl and Erich-Maui 2010!

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were home! The Condo far exceeded our expectations, and the owners went out of their way to provide extra ammenities that made our stay perfect! Weather you want to bask in the sun and enjoy the serenity of the Island, or take part in thrill seeking adventures, you will love Maui! I lived on Oahu for years, and the magnificent sunsets on Maui far surpass any other Island. The local neighbors that live on the property are very nice to all who visit, and you will even meet the "Captain", a man that has lived there for many years and will share his knowledge of the culture with you and give you a daily weather report. Every morning, we would sit on our Lanai and could see the Whales "tale slapping" and splashing in the waves while we planned our day. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the Honu (turtle) riding the waves in front of the condo on our own private beach; if you are bold enough, you can swim along side them~just respect and don't touch!! I highly recommend the day and night time ziplining adventures and a day trip to Lanai if you have time. Within walking distance, there are various shops where you can buy unique treasures made by local artists. You will love your stay!!! Enjoy

Awesome! We loved staying here! The view/sunsets are absolutely incredible. My favorite thing were the turtles swimming in front of the complex! We snorkeled right alongside them. We found the complex to be very quiet. A lot of the other guests seemed to be repeat guests-- and it's no wonder because it's a great location. The condo itself was very clean and tastefully decorated. Gotta love a King-sized bed! I liked being able to stop by the Costco and stock up the fridge with drinks and food. Great area and nearby restaurants-- Sanseis and Merrimans. I will definitely be recommending this condo to anyone going to Maui!

We had a wonderful time in Maui. The condo was very nice and clean, and had a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The view was terrific; we especially enjoyed the sunsets and the rainbows. The owner was very helpful. A highlight of the week was snorkeling at Napili Bay just north of here and being surprised by giant sea turtles swimming right next to us!

The condo was fantastic! The view from the lanai was incredible. The condo had everything we needed and the location was great with easy access to the farmers market and grocery stores. The beach was great and we really enjoyed snorkeling with the sea turtles right off the beach. It was a great place to stay and enjoy all that Maui has to offer.
