Silver Shells Resort is a little piece of heaven. There is no other place like it. This is a up scaled resort in the heart of Destin. Very close to water, parks, shopping etc. So much to do or just relax on the beach and enjoy the view. There are grills off to the left of the unit, and Tiki Bar on site with drinks and food. My wife and I stayed at this property for a quick 4-night getaway at the end of August. The studio is as advertised, just steps from the pool and beach and next to a few restaurants and shops. If you're a fan of the Back Porch, it's within a 5 minute walk and Ruth Chris' Steak House is on the grounds. The studio was clean and well stocked with towels. The property overall was well maintained. People looking for an inexpensive rental on Destin will be hard pressed to find a better deal than the one that we got. The owner, Diane, is professional, courteous, and responsive.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this studio at Silver Shells. It was a last minute get-away, and we were struggling to find a place for just the two of us that was: on the beach, affordable, and with a nice pool and full kitchen. We hit the jack-pot with this one! Only seconds from the beach, and right outside your door is the great Silver Shells pool (my favorite in all of Destin). The kitchen also has everything you need for a home-made dinner for that night in. Diane helped us get squared away in the short amount of time we booked it to arriving. Very easy and comfortable. She is so sweet and willing to help with anything. Just a phone call away. I have already recommended this studio to several friends and will definitely be returning in the future.
