Only 10 minutes easy walk from some of the Marathon Coasts best sandy beaches and just 20 km from downtown Athens. Villa Artemis is the ideal place for those who wish to mix a relaxing beach holiday with spectacular sightseeing. The port of Rafina is 5km away so the Greek Islands are within easy access. Day trips are offered to several islands including Andros, Tinos, Mykonos and Paros. Shops restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Villa Artemis is easy to reach from Athens airport.
The spacious first floor of Villa Artemis is in open plan style with a modern fully equipped kitchen, lounge with open fireplace, dining room, wc and storeroom. Balconies lead out from the entrance, kitchen and dining room.
On the second floor you'll find two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a storeroom. Both bedrooms have balconies, one with an ocean view. Marble steps lead from the balcony to the roof terrace where the view of the ocean and mountains is terrific.
On the ground floor you'll find another lounge, kitchen, full bathroom and three bedrooms.
There is air conditioning and central heating throughout and hot water is unlimited.
The fenced in garden offers sun and shade, a barbecue, ample garden furniture and secure parking. This is a quiet safe area with very little traffic, ideal for children. Help yourselves to fruit from the trees and vines!
Loutsa/Artemida is a lively little coastal town with a small harbor for private boats and yachts and is famous for it's long sandy beaches which are never overcrowded. Surfing is excellent. Along the coast road you'll find traditional Greek taverns offering local dishes for very reasonable prices. The night life is good with bars and discos open all year round. Supermarkets and bakers are all within 10 minutes walk from the villa. The town center is 30 minutes walk through the beach park. Here you'll find boutiques to browse round and beach side cafes to relax in. During the summer an open air cinema shows the latest films in English. Athens has an excellent zoo nearby - nice for children and adults, too.
Athens is just 20 km away and very easy to reach with bus and metro. Athens is not only rich in history, famous for The Acropolis and much more, but offers traditional markets, elegant shops, parks, museums, churches, exhibitons, concerts, galleries and restaurants of all kinds. Athens has something for everybody all year round.
Other very interesting trips are Corinth, Cape Sounion's Poseidon Temple, Mycene, Epidavros, Delphi, Marathon and many more places. From the nearby port of Rafina day trips to the islands of Andros, Tinos, Mykonos and Paros are offered.
Athens airport is easy to reach with public transport, taxi or hired car. It's just a 30 minute drive. We can also provide airport transport to make your journey easier.

Cynthia, I want to thank you for the rental of your villa in Artimeda that my family and I enjoyed from May 26 to June 1. It was a perfect fit for us. We enjoyed the village of Artemida and explored the beach and the restaurants and cafes. The internet café worked out well for everyone, and it was quite inexpensive. We were also able to make several trips into Athens to see the sights and visit with old friends there. Once I mastered the road system travel by car was not difficult. Dear Cynthia Just writing to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Artemis. The house was perfect for us - very comfotable and well-equipped and all your careful directions and instructions were so helpful. We went into Athens on bus and metro two days and then were out in the car going over to Argolis for about 4 trips and up to sites to the north of Athens a couple of times - there was so much to see that it was impossible even to dent the list, but we certainly fitted in as much as we could while having some "down time" on the beach as well. We loved the different terraces at the house and places to sit and eat or chill out, and eating supper under hanging grapes was an experience I won't forget in a hurry. How perfect! With limited ability to communicate, we managed to get the local shop owners on our side and they were very helpful. And as for the beachside tavernas - wonderful! We thought Loutsa was a lovely place to stay - everywhere was family orientated and quiet. I really appreciated the fact that I felt my daughter in particular was completely safe on the beach as everyone seemed to be on holiday as family groups. I would certanly recommend both Loutsa and Villa Artemis to any of my friends who were looking for a holiday in Greece and may well be in touch for a return visit ourselves! Thank you again for your many kindnesses over the past few months.
