But don't get too comfy! This is a great base for all the fantastic outdoor recreation opportunities Colorado has to offer. In the summer, consider the many hiking and biking trails, explore one of the nearby mining ghost camps, or try horseback riding, swimming, fishing, boating and rafting activities.
If it's winter in Colorado, it's time for skiing at the world-class Summit County resorts of Keystone, A-Basin, Breckenridge and Copper. There are also cross-country and snowshoeing trails, and Vail is a short and scenic 45 minute drive away. If shopping and dining are more your style, you'll find the nearby villages of Keystone, Dillon and Breckenridge are wonderful places to explore.
