Looking for a quiet peaceful getaway while remaining close to town? This property is located on the Coosa River in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Gadsden, Alabama. The property has nearly 400' of waterfront on a private cove with deep water just off the main channel.
The private boat ramp is adjacent to the dock which has water access year round. Enjoy fishing, water skiing, and tubing or just watch a beautiful sunset from the screened porch.
Inside, you will find sleeping accommodations for 10, with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a private bathroom. A second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. There is a third bedroom with a queen bed, a top bunk bed and a trundle.
Other amenities include a large-screen cable TV, fully equipped kitchen with automatic dishwasher, washer and dryer, and central heat and air. The cabin has a two car garage. THERE IS NO LOCAL PHONE SERVICE.
Multiple attractions are available just minutes away. Gadsden is home to World Champion Bass Fishing tournaments, Speedboat Drag Racing, Riverfest, and numerous outdoor concerts and festivals. Noccalula Falls Park, Robert Trent Jones golf course, Twin Bridge golf course, Historic Downtown, and the famous antique shops of Attalla are all just a short drive away. Come to Gadsden for an economical and relaxing vacation on the water.

When my friends and I found this property we knew it would be perfect for us. The rental process was totally painless. After arriving we found that the pictures do NOT do it justice. The home is even MORE charming than the pictures indicate, and the entire lay-out of the place is perfect for a small group. The living room connects to the screened porch, which allows a perfect view of the lake. One of the most relaxing places that I’ve enjoyed. The indoors were extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with more than you would need to prepare any meal. The full size washer and dryer were a bonus. The boat ramp was easily accessible and very close to the dock making it great to tie the boat onto. We sat around the fire ring in the back for hours telling fish tales and relaxing. The area is secluded but yet there was great shopping and good restaurants near by. It’s about 10 min. from the Top of The River, one of the best fish restaurants in the South. If a group of friends or family wants to visit The Gadsden / Lake Neely Henry area, this is THE place to stay!!

My mother owned this property for several years and we had many, many happy family times here. The property is everything this listing says it is AND MORE! Fishing is great, very quiet and private, year round water is perfect for every season.
