  I rented this cabin with the members of my wedding party for our wedding week. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the cabin! It was clean, spacious and perfect for our visit. The cabin is in a beautiful location and right on the river. This is a great rental for a trip with friends or family, old or young.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

  This house was in very good condition and our stay there was very relaxing. Much of the house has been renovated in recent years, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are quite nice. This is not a luxury property, but has everything a family would need for a great vacation. The kitchen is well-equipped. It is in a very quiet area, but is also only a few minutes from town, so there are some restaurants and shops nearby. But, if one wanted a completely secluded environment, he or she could find it here. The view of the river is very nice. We did not have a boat or do any fishing, so I can't comment on that. Also, the property does not have internet access, although our smartphones worked. All in all, it was a nice, relaxing weekend away and we would recommend the home to others. The pictures show that is somewhat dark, but with the lights on and the window shades open, the house has lots of light and is bright and cheery.

  When my friends and I found this property we knew it would be perfect for us. The rental process was totally painless. After arriving we found that the pictures do NOT do it justice. The home is even MORE charming than the pictures indicate, and the entire lay-out of the place is perfect for a small group. The living room connects to the screened porch, which allows a perfect view of the lake. One of the most relaxing places that I’ve enjoyed. The indoors were extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with more than you would need to prepare any meal. The full size washer and dryer were a bonus. The boat ramp was easily accessible and very close to the dock making it great to tie the boat onto. We sat around the fire ring in the back for hours telling fish tales and relaxing. The area is secluded but yet there was great shopping and good restaurants near by. It’s about 10 min. from the Top of The River, one of the best fish restaurants in the South. If a group of friends or family wants to visit The Gadsden / Lake Neely Henry area, this is THE place to stay!!

  My mother owned this property for several years and we had many, many happy family times here. The property is everything this listing says it is AND MORE! Fishing is great, very quiet and private, year round water is perfect for every season.
