My wife, daughter, and I recently stayed here and we had a perfect week in this beautiful home. It started with the easy communication with Carla and her willingness to make our family vacation one we’ll always remember. The home itself is in great condition. From top to bottom the home is equivalent to the gorgeous waterfront view. The pictures online look great but you really have to see it in person to get the full effect! The pool and jacuzzi were very nice and that’s where we spent the majority of our time. We simply did not want to leave the pool and the view! What better way to enjoy a pool and jacuzzi than being waterfront? The home offers many things to do for all ages. We enjoyed the pool table, DVDs (many children’s choices), and the kitchen for many of our meals. The outside grill is very nice, as well. The neighborhood is peaceful and very relaxing. It’s just a quick walk to the beach. If you’re looking for fantastic place for a vacation we’d give our highest recommendation to this vacation rental home. Thank you, Carla!

We can not say enough good things about this property and Carla. Everything was fabulous, the most tranquil vacation. Our goal was to do nothing and what a great place to do that, relax, eat, relax, drink, relax, read. We did walk the half mile to the beach a few times and that was equally lovely.

My family and I enjoyed this property while preparing for my daughters wedding. It was perfect -- comfortable, relaxing, roomy and homey, and features an amazing view. Neighborhood was excellent -- quiet, while not uptight. The landlord was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if the opportunity to travel to St. Pete Beach occurs again. We very highly recommend this property. Enjoy!

Beyond everything I imagined! Absolutely beautiful!

I was so thrilled when my family and I were able to book this home for our stay in Florida. I looked for weeks for a home/condo big enough for all my family members - boy, did I hit the jackpot! We arrived on a Wednesday and it was little rainy. Carla was there working on some weeds. She was kind enough to let us in alittle earlier than the regular check in time since the cleaning was done. We went out back and saw dolphins the first day. Right by the pier! This house is very special to me, because we did a destination wedding at the Tradewinds (hotel very close by). I stayed at this home with my parents/brother/sister-in-law for a few days up until the wedding. All my bridesmaids and I got ready in the house and it was just so beautiful and serene to get ready for your wedding here. The view is just unreal. Plus, there are many tropical leaves/flowers around the house. We took some great bridal shots! The house is in wonderful shape. Carla made sure to leave plenty of clean linens, towels, beach towels, etc. There were many pool toys and floaties for kids. The kitchen is huge and has plenty of cabinet space for your groceries. There is a grocery store (Publix) about a mile & half away. We actually walked there one day. There is plenty of space to sleep too. The bedrooms were exactly as seen in the picture. There is another little room off the garage with some bunkbeds. Its very tight in there, so I chose to sleep in the pull out sofa in the Florida room. It was just so wonderful to wake up to the beautiful bay. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The view is beyond words. The price is just right, and the owner is great to work with. Looking forward to hopefully returning one day :)

Awesome Property

We vacationed at this lovely home the last two weeks in September. This gorgeous property is spacious, very clean and well cared for. The kitchen has everything you need. The large sunroom is the perfect place to have coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. The pool area is beautiful "Million Dollar View" is right on. It porvided endlless hours of fun, rest and relaxation. We fished from the dock, watched the dolphins swimming through the bay in the afternoon and even saw a sting ray. The birds provided entertainment watching them dive for their dinner. Many evenings we chose to barbeque and enjoy the pool and view; however, there are many restaurants that are very close. There is a grocery store just down the street. There is also a great butcher/seafood store in Pass-A-Grille. It is located on Pass-A-Grille Way. I'm not sure of the name but is kitty corner to Sea Critters restaurant. Carla the owner of this home provides everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We would highly recommend this property and will be returning. Thanks Carla

This home has everything you need and more, we traveled with my 2 small boys and they had a great time. They immediately found the toys (legos, dinosaurs and trains) and their vacation was off to a great start. The home is clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. The pool, boat dock and ocean views made this the best vacation my family has had, ever.

Fun For the Whole Family

My husband, our four children (all under the age of twelve) and I had a blast. House is 2 min (by car) from a fabulous beach, has a panoramic view of the bay and has plenty of dvds for a weeks worth of family movie nights. Kayaks and paddles in the garage allowed us to venture out into the bay. We cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen after shopping at the grocery store right down the road. Some nights we grilled on the outdoor gas grill. Highly recommend.

The house was wonderful, everything we needed and more. The place was clean, well set up, and the location is absolutely ideal for what we were looking for. You are seconds away from everyone, yet out of the range of the hussle and bussle if you so choose. Carla was available if needed and made sure the place was up to par. She provides everything for your stay, including any kind of pool toy you can think of. We saw manatee's in the morning while fishing from the private dock, and dolphins in the afteroon playing in the Bay. Birds will be around cannonballing into the Bay chasing fish which is rather entertaining to watch while sitting outside on the patio. The pool and the view are out of this world. We had dinner quite a few nights sitting in the sun room while looking out into the Bay. Absolutely amazing. Our 5 year old son couldn't get enough of the pool and the games provided. There were more than enough items to keep any age child occupied and happy. The only thing to watch for is the bugs when the tide goes out! Depending on the season and the moon the water can get low during low tide and bring the bugs out. But Carla had us covered by providing bug spray in the house (something we didn't think of to bring) and it worked out just fine for us. You can not go wrong with this house, it is very well worth the stay! Just look at the schedule, it speaks for itself, getting in can be hard! If you see an opening I would highly recommend booking it! Thanks for the hospitality and we will definitely try to be back next summer!

We had a wonderful vacation over the 4th of July. The kids lived in the pool and fished off the dock. The bay view was pleasant and we enjoyed watching the dolphins and birds every day. The ocean was close enough to walk and the sunsets were brilliant. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare gourmet meals if you wanted to stay in with grocery markets in walking distance, and plenty of delightful restaurants in St. Pete should you desire dining out. We would love to come back!

What an awesome place to relax. We stayed there for a week in mid-March with our college age son and two of his friends. It was wonderful. So wonderful, there were days where we didn't want to leave to go anywhere else! The house is about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Shopping is very convenient, so you don't have to bother with traffic at all really. The pool and spa have heaters that heat up very quickly. The kitchen is very nice and the Florida room was a great place to hang out. Thanks again, Carla.

Better than described! Family reunion that even our teenagers want to return to!

The home is actually much better than described. There's a sofa/sleeper in the Florida Room (facing the pool) and another in the living room (with media center/TV). Our teenagers chose the Florida room and Living Room to "crash" so one could watch TV and the other could see the sunrise in the morning along with dolphins, and leaping "Pinfish" which fly out of the water. Everything was as described if not better. One of the few places everyone, including our finicky hard-to-please teenagers (19 & 17) asked "when can we go back?" We fished off the dock (one of the best places to catch fish) but did not use it for boating as I'm not that good of a boat "captain" to know how to navigate the tides and when its okay to come in and out. The only minor adjustment we made is we launched our leased boat from the marina to avoid dangers of the shoals/sandbars around Boca Ciega Isle but that's it. Beautiful place. Quiet. No noise at night. We didn't want to leave! Weather was blue skies and in mid to high 70's everyday. After a difficult year where we lost a family member - this was the perfect place provide us the solace and respite we all needed. In actuality, you can stay right here on the property and not go anywhere and still have a great time! Owner was excellent in every aspect. See you again soon!

We were there at the end of August/beginning of September 2011. This home is adorable in a private little neighborhood close to town. When you walk into the home it is warm and inviting. The furnishings are nicely appointed and add to the comfort and charm of the home. The back room of the home looks out over the pool and the bay with a breathtaking view. You could sit there for hours watching the Pelicans dive for fish and the dolphins play in front of the house. The home is in excellent condition and has been well cared for inside and out. The house is well equipped with just about anything you could want on your vacation. One of the things we loved about staying in this home is that we could get a free beach ride to any restaurant on the island, which we did every night. They come and picked you up within 15-20 minutes after you called and gladly returned you home at the end of the evening, free of charge [they work for tips.] We loved that we could bring our dog and he loved the fenced back yard! The owner Carla was wonderful to work with and very accomodating. We are already planning our next visit.

We stayed at this home the end of July/early August and loved it. It is very clean, nicely decorated with plenty of room. The open pool with view and dock makes this home spectacular! It is in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the public beach entrance of Lido beach and with plenty of things to do on Treasure Island. We loved it (4 adults and 1 child) and highly recommend this home. We will be back. The owner was always available and we had no issues with the home - everything was perfect. Thanks again for a great vacation experience and the view of dolphin's in the morning! :)

Our stay in this home was wonderful! Its convenient location meant little time spent in the car yo get to our favorite destinations like Fort Desoto, Sunset Beach, John's Pass and the Pier! Carla provides just about everything you need and the home was very clean and orderly! The pool and the dock provided hours of entertainment for the kids and during low tides, clusters of starfish can be seen. The morning sunrise and evening sunsets were spectacular!! We plan on returning for our next Florida trip!

Million Dollar View Indeed !

We loved our stay here and will be back ! The house is centrally located yet the neighborhood is quiet....the backyard pool area with dock on Boca Ciega Bay was just what we wanted......there is lots to see back there - fish jumping continuously, sailboats, kayaks, pelicans, cranes and one of the tour boats is a Mississippi River paddle-boat - really nice when returning after dark all lit up !! There are lots of power boats and sea-doos but they are always far enough away to not be noisy. The house is bright and roomy with a great view of the water from the kitchen and "Florida room". Carla is great to deal with - Thanks Carla !!!

As I write this review I am sitting by the pool watching the pelicans play on Boca Ciega Bay. My husband and I arrived on March 11th and will be here until the 26th. Our only complaint is that it will not be long enough! From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home. Everything is perfect!!! Equipped with all the amenities you could possibly ask for. The home is beautifully decorated; clean, comfy, cozy and well cared for. What really makes the house extraordinary is the view. The views are just breathtaking, sunrise, moonrise and glimpses of sunset. Daily traffic includes boats cruising by and the locals….heron, pelicans, diving ducks and dolphins! You feel as if you are living on a boat that’s how close to the water you are. The home is so conveniently located. It really is the best of all worlds. Out of the high traffic area but close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores etc. As if this weren’t enough you could not ask for a better owner to work with. Carla is so helpful and kind we feel as if we have not just rented a vacation home but made a friend! Thank you Carla for all of your help and for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend staying in this Boca Ciega Bay home. It was very comfortable. It was quiet, had a large kitchen and lights of light. The house is quite large with a great floor plan. The bed was comfortable, bathroom large and the setting beautiful. We were able to take advantage of both the pool and the spa. We have stayed in many vrbo.com homes in both the US and in Europe and this one was one of the nicer ones. We hope to stay there next time we are in St. Petersburg.

My wife and I and another couple just stayed at the home last week. We enjoyed the house very much.. The Florida room and pool area were especially nice and offered a great view of the bay. We saw dolphins swimming by about every night of our stay. The house is conveniently located near the public beach, shopping and restaurants. The owner was very easy to work with. We will definately rent the home again next year.

Great Home For a Relaxing Vacation

We just arrived home from a week's vacation at this home. It was just what we needed. Early morning sunrises with a great cup of coffee, and late evening cocktails beside the warm jacuzzi tub! Even our children (11 & 12) loved the slow pace. This property is close enough to everything you could possible want or need; but far enough from the hustle and bustle that normally accompanies a busy beach vacation. We spent a day and half up at Disney World which is only a short two hour ride from the home. The rest of our vacation was spent lounging by the pool and sharing evenings and meals with family who live close by. It was perfect. Carla is a delight to work with and the home far exceeds expectations. We have traveled and stayed in several VRBO rentals and this one is by far the best when it comes to value and surroundings. The dolphins swimming by and the hunt for lizards made my daughter's vacation! Thanks Carla for making your home available. We hope to return soon!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

We enjoyed every minute of our time at this beautiful home. The location is perfect for everything you desire. The beach, shopping, dining and anything else you could need are all within 5-10 minutes away. There is a boat ramp about a mile away and made it very convienent for us to bring our water toys. The home itself is private, very clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed watching both the sunrises and sunsets from the pool and the dock out back. The home has everything you need for cooking your own meals. Another nice feature about this property is the parking. The drive way is long and wide, great for parking all the vehicles with or without trailers. The views are amazing and we spent a lot of time in just simply taking it all in. We do intend on returning in the future. The owner is very helpful and easy to work with. It could have only been better if we would have had more time.

This place was perfect in every way and was even better than it looked in the pictures. It was in a great location, had a wonderful view and was everything we hoped it would be. It was very clean and provided all of the ammenities you could want or need. Everything was close by including the beach, groceries, great resteraunts and shopping. This was our second year vacationing here and it was AWESOME. The home is very clean with everything you would need. Our boys loved the pool and hot tub. We even fished off the dock this year. You are close to everything including the beach, grocery store, restaurants and the Tampa Bay Rays. There is even a nice little park at the end of the street. We came home from this vacation truly relaxed. We enjoyed the views of the bay and saw dolphin almost daily. We look forward to returning next year.

This home is truly Paradise found! The views on Boca Ciega Bay are beyond compare including sailboats, yachts, and dolphins. Fish can be caught off the dock and cooked on the outside grill. The pool and hot tub complete a day in the sun. The home was spotless upon arrival. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and the Gulf is only a few short miles away. The owner lives near-by and is responsive to every need or question. We hope to return here yearly and consider this our "home away from home.

Spent an excellent Thanksgiving holiday here. An extremely clean house with a huge open sunroom was perfect to look out across the bay. Very quiet neighbourhood, except for when our kids were in the pool which made sleeping at night perfect ! Two dolphins came right up to the dock three morning in a row..it was great !! Hope to be back soon.

The view from this house is absolutely gorgeous! We loved sitting in the hot tub while looking out over the beautiful bay! It is very clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here. My husband and I really enjoyed this house. The owner was very flexible ith check-in and check-out. The location was easy to find and central to everything on St. Pete Beach. And the view from the back room is worth every cent. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and having our boat on the lift out back. We highly recommend renting this house.

Wow! What a super place to stay. This house exceeded our expectations. Very nice and comfortable decor. Beds were very, very comfortable. Did not get to use the pool or hot tub, but they are very nice. Owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Highly recommended. Be sure to eat at The Reef while you are there.
