I found this hidden piece of paradise at Shacks beach. The property was very enjoyable, clean and comfortable. A true steal for the price, I actually told the owner that the pictures of this property do not show the amazing beauty, quaintness and appeal of the apartments. I definitely recommend this property for anyone who wants a truly relaxing, romantic, enjoyable family oriented beach vacation. The owner and her staff are very professional and sweet as pudding. We will be back with family and friends very soon. Thank you Lorraine and Magalia for making our vacation unforgettable, the kids are still asking when are we going back to the beach to see the tropical fish. Great job.

First of all, I want to say that I had a great vacation. I went there from March 13, until March 21. My friend and I rented this apartment for a week, and let me tell you that we had a wonderful experience. We have no complains about the apartment it felt like home....I loved the kitchen and the master bedroom was very comfortable. We stayed in the apartment upstairs and everything was nice and clean. We went food shopping and we cooked. It was very relaxing; the apartment is like 30 seconds from the beach. The beach was beautiful and I love it. It’s a private beach and you feel like you have the beach for yourself. I can’t really ask for more, the apartment is like 5 minutes from the airport and they have great restaurants around....I’m not agree with that previous comment. It was the opposites, my friend and I are considering to definitely going back pretty soon and with more friends....oh also the price was very affordable compare to other apartments around the area. We also went horse riding & it was great so with that being said this is a great location to go and relax with family, partners, husband, wife with the kids. Im actually thinking on taking my parents in law so they can have a great and relaxing time...

The location is superb, the beach is an absolute dream and piece of heaven. The towels, linen, kitchen and bathtroom were very clean and that was so important for us as parents, with small children; we hope you found the apartment the way you left it. Place was clean. No oven, fan in BR only one working. No running water at times. No hot water except in shower and that was very sporadic. No cable, no wifii connection. No successful contact with management. No one to meet us and give us key- we had to find a local to contact management. Management did NOT respond to our needs and requests AT ALL. No two dishes matched and kitchen pots were scratched no-stick finishes and as such were toxic.Had to purchase water and boil it to wash and rinse dishes. Bed was uncomfortable, set on concrete blocks. Light outside window all night. The place is in a great location and the beach is fabulous and there is a good restaurant and grocery store near by. We would return to this location but not to this apartment. We were in upstairs apt. People in downstairs apartment left after 3 days as they could not manage with poor amenities and 2 young children. Water at beach is rough and not suitable for young children and non-swimmers. You can do a lot better for the same money in this area. Definitely would not recommend. It was like camping as we had to shower downstairs and outside in cold water brrrrrr.

In the 10+ years we have been servicing our many guests we have managed to build some wonderful relationships with guest from all parts of this great universe the Lord has given us to enjoy. Fortunately for us, all our reviews are that of 5 stars, but we do understand that needs are not always met by cleanliness, services, amenities, comfort or location. In the above matter, Ms. Joane from Canada, was obviously not as content as all our previous guest, but then again after investigating this matter we found that some local individual purposely shut down our main water line??? The Dish network antenna that supplied the wifi and cable were unplugged and Ms. Joane did not have a cell phone to be contacted, therefore (Rosa) a wonderful local maintenance woman assisted this elder couple in finding the keys when they arrived 4 1/2 hours late, and contacted us to let us know that our guest arrived and that they found everything to be just fine. I could not understand the comment of "" The place is in a great location and the beach is fabulous and there is a good restaurant and grocery store near by."" to then be contradicted in same paragraph with ""Water at beach is rough and not suitable for young children and non-swimmers."" Then again, we can't accommodate everyone’s discomforts; therefore one bad review will help us with the curious tourist that would want to discover the great adventures of such a wonderful location like Shacks Beach in Isabela Puerto Rico. And since we own multiple apartments in various beach locations in the Island of Puerto Rico, like the guest that departed after 3 days, you to can come and enjoy a split vacation stay within our many wonderful properties.

If you just want to relax; hear the wonderful tunes of the birds singing; the warmth of the sun; and waking up to a crisp sound of the waves then this is the place for you. My friends and I rented the entire house; 2 apartments for a week ( not enough I wish it was 2 weeks). The apartments were always clean; the natives were friendly; the resturants have delicious food and especially the Beach, just walking distance very clean and snorkling was fun. The owner and the cleaning ladie were very hospitable and professional. I highly recommend taking your vacation at Shacks Beach-Isabela and children are welcome

We really had a wonderful family vacation at this location. The Apartment was very cozy and welcoming, a true home away from home. Shacks beach is a hidden paradise. I recommend this villa to any family or couple that wants a peaceful romantic hideaway.
