  • We just spent a wonderful week in this great apartment. What a location! The Blue Line from O'Hare is two blocks away. So is Millennium Park. Red Line and numerous bus lines are right outside the door. Lots of restaurants, Art Institute and all the river attractions are an easy walk. The apartment is spacious, well-furnished and quiet, and the owners are gracious and responsive. Just for fun -- half-price tix for "Jersey Boys" (just around the corner) go on sale at 10am.

  • What a perfect weekend in Chicago. The condo was very inviting and had everything we needed. Great location, within mintues of some of Chicago's best attractions, including the theaters, shopping, Millenium Park, museums and the Navy Pier. Also lot's of good restaurants within walking distance. Thanks Sally and Al for sharing your wonderful place!

    I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your loft this weekend. The location was absolutely ideal. It is so close to shopping, restaurants, drug store, museums, parks, and public transportation. The loft itself was equipped with everything we needed (including the feather bed for the sleeper sofa and fully stocked kitchen, laundry, and toiletries). Most importantly, your customer service was impeccable!

  • Awesome place to stay! Location, location, location! Loved walking out the front door with State street shopping all around, super restaurants and easy walk to Michigan Avenue as well.   • Wonderful location. Right in the middle of some of the best shopping in Chicago. (Macy's is one of our favorite stores) Michigan Ave is so close with the Art Institute and Millenium Park. A little further down and more shopping and great food is right there. Do not miss Macs hotdogs on Adams, on your way to the Art Institute. The best hotdog that I have ever had. The loft is perfect, has a wonderful city feel. Decor is perfect and we really appreciated there being a little coffee to get started on our first morning. The gym was also a great feature, my daughter used it several times. She said the equipment was first rate. Public transportation is outside the front door and very easy to get used to. But walking is still the best way. Thanks Sally! We enjoyed Chicago and your loft made everything a lot easier. It will be hard to go back to Hotels, now.

  • Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! My husband and I rented this apartment for the 4th of July week and we fell in love with the place. The apartment had everything we could possibly need i.e. clothing detergent, linens, closet space, dishes, etc. including an extremely comfortable bed. We walked to Dominick's which was only 15-20 mins. away in order to grocery shop and picked up items from Walgreens which was right around the corner. In addition to having everything we needed, we loved the decor; it inspired me to redecorate my own home:o). The location was also very convenient. We've been to Chicago several times and have always stayed out by O'Hare airport which is a huge inconvenience because we would have to catch the "L" into town everyday versus this time being in the midst of everything. We were able to fully enjoy the city due to it's convenient location. I did a lot of shopping right on the block the apartment was located on (New York & Co., Macy's, Old Navy, etc.). We were also minutes from Michigan Ave./The Loop. We did not want to leave. The owner Sally was also accommodating and easy to work with. We definitely want to return and would highly recommend this unit.

  • Comment Text: Stayed here with my family for 5 days, we were all pleasantly surprised! We automatically felt at home. The place was clean and spotless! The interior design was gorgeous and well thought of, from the lighting to the paint on the walls, to the decorations around the loft, to the furniture. Everything was both beautiful and functional. This loft was fully equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. My mom was very happy it had a hairdryer (that’s the first thing she looks for in every hotel we stay at!), my sister was very happy with the featherbed that came with the sofa bed (she ended up falling asleep every night without changing and wakes up in the middle of the night, drag herself out of bed to wash up and change. That’s how comfortable the sofa bed was!), my dad was happy with the comfortable chairs that had a place for him to put his feet up at the living room and the flat screen TV which made watching his favorite NBA games more pleasurable, and I LOOOVED the free internet connection and the cozy office that was complete with pens, notepads and three binders full of food menu! The linens, towels and sheets provided were of excellent quality. Supplies for the washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and other cleaning supplies, was provided as well. The location was to die for. Everything was within reach and easily accessible. Although the red line was under renovation during our stay, it wasn’t a problem at all. All we had to do was use the blue line around the corner. Bus stop was just across the street a short block away. Walgreens around the corner made buying for groceries and carrying the groceries less dreadful. Last but not the least, Sally, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with. Communication was excellent and super fast, and everything was simply smooth and hassle-free. This was our first time in Chicago and it wouldn’t have been as memorable if we didn’t stay here. Staying here was an experience in itself. I can assure all of you, if you’re planning to visit Chicago, stay here!! You will NOT regret it! It’s worth every penny! Location, comfort, style, value, convenience, accessibility, everything a traveler needs is here. No detail is left unnoticed. As for me, I will DEFINITELY stay here again! To summarize, our stay was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Thanks Sally!

  • Just leaving this lovely condo! What a great stay we had!! Thank you Sally & Alan - the place is so well furnished, so comfortable - I didn't even need a blow dryer or curling iron! Perfect location for us to visit our downtown kids who live here, we had an awesome stay and will definitely return!!
