AMAZING Home! Best vacation in P.C. ever!

Far Far Away was simply amazing. It was the perfect vacation home! We've vacationed in P.C. for the past 5 years in some very nice homes, but never in Carillon, so we weren't sure what to expect. It definitely exceeded our expectations. I can't tell you the difference it made to stay in a quiet, gated community where we felt safe and at peace all the time. The owners are wonderful, honest people - great to deal with. We can't thank them enough for accomodating our families. Far Far Away is a spacious house that provided plenty of room for my husband and me, his parents, my mom, and one of his brothers. It's in a wonderful location directly across from the pool, so you don't even have to bother with sandals when you want to step out for an evening swim in the heated pool. SO nice! It's about a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, where you have a reserved beach chair set up wherever you want it and have the most unbelievable views imaginable of the sunset from one of the many walkover/gazebo areas. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, and there is a cute little grill and patio area out back. The community has a chapel with Sunday services located at the end of the brick promenade, which runs directly beside the house. The promenade also leads to the little community shopping area. SO convenient. Oh! And Publix is just across the road from the community. Everything in Carillon is within walking distance, and we enjoyed just strolling around looking at the different homes, several of which we had actually looked at while researching the trip. I can't tell you how happy we were about our final decision. If you're considering a vacation in P.C., Far Far Away is the place! A BIG thank you to the owners! This was the best family vacation we've ever had!

Our family had a wonderful time at Far Far Away. The location was perfect for us, within a short walk to the beach and right across the street from the pool. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful Carillon Beach community and its closeness to area attractions.

Our stay was wonderful. The house is comfortable and great proximity to the beach and pool. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. It was a very easy drive from our home in Atlanta to Carillon Beach. A trip we will definitely make again.

Far, Far Away was headquarters for the week leading up to our daughter's dream wedding. We arrived on Sunday to this ultimate home and were pleasantly surprised that is was all we were hoping. The home amenities were as written in the online review presentation. Clean, well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, every square inch of the home was used. The photographs were applicable pictorials of the actual home. The one part not revealed in pictures is the comfortable, home-felt atmosphere experienced while we stayed there. Far, Far Away was conveniently located as it is the first house on the left as we drove into the property.There was ample parking for the several cars and golf cart for the bridal party. The long driveway provided shade for the cars parked there. We were directly across the street from the swimming pool which gave many hours of relaxation and fun memories. The Promenade (next to Far, Far Away) provided amazing backdrops for the wedding day photographs. The convenience to the bell tower and to Walkover #3 where our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding was greatly appreciated. Beach access was definitely manageable for even the lightest walker. The area provided picturesque running, workout areas. We look forward to our next Carillon Beach, Florida vacation and to our Far, Far Away stay.

Far far away met and exceeded all of our expectations. The home is beautiful and convenient to the city and beaches. We plan to return every year.

This is our second time at Far Far Away and once again, we loved it! We ventured out of Carillon this time and saw dolphins and lots more at the pier oppoiste Pier Park, enjoyed the excitement of the "Everglades Style" boat ride at Gator Country, and had a wonderful time on board the 3-hour cruise with "Island Time" where we swam, collected marine creatures, and enjoyed being on the water. We also celebrated a special birthday at "Georges of Alys Beach", only a few minutes drive and thoroughly worth the visit! Most of all though, we relaxed at the beautiful white sandy beach of Carillon and of course the pools too! Thanks Jack and Jane for the use of your beautiful house!

Twice a year we since 2004 visit the FL panhandle and enjoy the wonderful beaches from Pensacola to Destin. This is the first house that we can stay we truly enjoyed and felt right at home. Quiet resort with all the conveniences within walking distance. We will make every effort to only rent this house going forward.

What a wonderful house! We had an AWESOME time! Everything has been great but now we are sad that we have to leave. We have rented five houses in Carillon and by far this has the most space for five little children. Thanks for renting your house to us... we will be back!

-What a great week. Love the home, cant wait to come back. -A beautiful, peaceful place. The location is exceptional. So tastefully decorated. Love having meals on the porch- no insects to speak of. There were 9 of us including a 2 month old infant- had plenty of room. -Such a great week! So many memories were made here this week! Suggest the beach pool to all future guests, best of both worlds. Hope to return soon! -This was exactly what I needed! A little family time mixed with some best friend time! Our family, consisting of two 70+ great grandmothers, a 2-month old, 4 1/2 year old, kids' parents and of course us, the grandparents stayed at Far Far Away!! We didn't know what to expect, but boy were we in for the BEST SURPRISE! The home, grounds, location, location, location far exceeded our expectations! The beach and pool access is amazing. The main pool overlooking the beach was absolutely perfect for us. We toted everything the infant needed to the lounge area where everyone could take turns watching her as well as enjoying the pool or the beach. EASY ACCESS, CLEAN, FRIENDLY neighborhood. The walking paths to the beach areas are astonishing. THANK YOU for letting us "borrow" your home for the week. I'd recommend to everyone, especially if you love the beach, but don't like having the beach sand in your vehicles!! Thanks, again.

What a great vacation! You ahve a beautiful home with all the comforts anyone needs. The location to the pool and beach is great. Whoever decorated did a fantastic job. We found everything nice and clean, with more than enough utensils, plates, etc. You really made this house into a "home". This is our first time to Carillon Beach and we will be back for sure. We've stayed at a number of houses in Carillon, and this location is THE BEST for our family. Being right across the street from our favorite pool and the greenway (with playground) is perfect for spur-of-the-moment games of soccer/kickball/whiffleball......And we could watch the older kids playing from the porches......

The layout of this beach house was perfect for our big family. Grandma came with us, and the ground floor bed/bath was great for her (tucked away and quiet). Plus, we appreciated having the bonus nook of bunk beds upstairs. Tons of kitchen and dining space. We also enjoyed dining on the front porch. The house was clean, well-appointed and beautifully decorated. And, we LOVED the feel of Carillon. Such a well planned and idyllic beach community. It felt like a real getaway. We'd love to stay in this same beach house again. Thank you so much!!!

New to this area but everything was easy to locate.Sometimes when seeing pictures so beautiful you become a little leary but it was even better than anticipated. Loved the sugary white beaches and the lights outside at night made me feel like I was in dreamland. We knew as soon as we entered the gated community that we were safe and welcome. The home had everything we needed and will know next time that we can pack lighter. My grandkids were running from room to room and floor to floor just excited about staying in a home like this. The furnishings and artwork were straight out of a book. Very spacious ! My favorite was the bathrooms. All 4 were awesome!! Many details-didn't miss a thing, right down to the outside shower that the kids used every day. Could watch the kids in the pool while relaxing on the big covered porches, just had to decide what floor I wanted to watch from. Will definitely recommend to anyone and cannot wait to visit again. The owners were excellent in making sure that our stay was remembered! I can't say thanks enough!

What a beautiful house! This is our 1st visit to Carillon, and we had a wonderful time. Staying in a house is so much more preferable than a condominium... plenty of room for everyone. The teens and the 4 year old really enjoyed the "upstairs upstairs" and the foosball table =) Your home is well appointed and beautifully decorated, and its location across from the pool is perfect, especially for young children. The weather this week has been perfect, and the beach has been pristine-- no oil to be found. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.. we'd love to come back!

We absolutely loved Far Far Away and Carillon Beach! The house is beautifully decorated and is exactly as described in the online listing. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was included in the house. Location is great...right across from the best pool in the community and just a couple of blocks from the best walkover to the beach! Having the lounge chairs available on the beach was really nice too. We had 4 generations of family with us, from age 4 up to age 86, and everyone had a great time.

You have a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us. It had everything!! This was our first stay at Carillon and we loved the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful community. The pool across the street was a plus, tennis court and playground was great for the kids. We rented a golf cart to go to beach, but just enjoyed driving it all around the area. Kids loved that! We will definitley come again!!!

Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us. (The colors inside the house are beautiful..) We enjoyed the peaceful, friendly community- especially the area where the house is located- which reminds me of Charleston. It was also nice to be so close to the pool. All week long we worked on the puzzles, completing one and almost completing another. I've been coming to Panama City since I was 5 or 6. The beaches here cannot be surpassed anywhere in the US. Thanks again for sharing your home.

We had a great time. The neighborhood was perfect to ride bikes in. We even had the pool, tennis court, and basketball court right across the street. The beach was fun but there was some seaweed. Thanks again, and we loved the beach!

We loved Far Far Away and we loved Carillon! The house is beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of room for all. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the lovely white sandy beach and right across from the heated pool. Many happy times were spent at both! I just wanted to say we all loved our stay at Far Far And Away. This home was lovely, warm, very clean and well decorated. We loved the porches the best. We felt at home every min.Just like being in a home neighborhood but with a backyard pool and the beach not too far away.Thank you for sharing with us. It was a wonderful time. We loved the privacy, the bike rides and the walks to shopping. We felt very safe there and the neigborhood maintenance workers were polite and friendly and I need to include the front gate guards too. This is an exceptionally run community. J Tolleson

The resort and your vacation home was wonderful. We enjoyed having access to pool right across the street. The pool was lovely ... made it out for an evening swim even though it was in the 60's the pool was nice and warm. Also really nice was having the tennis courts so close. They were in wonderful condition and we played almost daily. The access to the most beautiful beach in the world (I have been to many) was very convenient as well. As for your vacation home ..it exceeded our expectations. Super clean and modern. We had guests who all enjoyed their rooms and state of the art bathrooms. My favorite was listening to music while in the bathroom. We had 12 people over for a dinner party one evening so the dining room was perfect for entertaining. The kitchen had everything we needed and now I want new appliances since returning home as yours were beautiful to use. A big thank you for the brand new stainless steel Bar B Que. .it was well used . Great memories with friends and family. When we make our plans to vacation in the area again we will definately be in touch to stay at Far Far Away. I felt like we stumbled upon a "Best Kept Secret"...was so tranquil and beautiful ... hope the area stays that way for years to come. Cheers Charlotte and Richard

What a beautiful home and community. We had a wonderful time at Far, Far Away . We highly recommend this home to have a memorable vacation. My son was able to ride his bike around and I did not have to worry. The facility staff went over and beyond with his new fishing gear. They helped load his new reel the proper way and told him where to go fishing. My parents also enjoyed their month long stay. They felt very safe and enjoyed meeting other guests at Carillon Beach.
