The studio worked great for us (a couple). The village was close by (within walking distance) with I small plaza with tasty restaurants and bars. Nice beaches and close by supermarket came in handy. Condo complex has a nice pool as well. A great place to relax within a reasonable distance of many fun excursions and sites while far enough away to not feel like you're in a tourist trap. A great way to see Puerto Rico!

This was my second time staying at the studio apartment and I enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoy it the most because it's not that far from the beach and I had everything near me so travel time to every location wasn't unbearable. I enjoy the studio apartment because of the terrace and the awesome view of the beach. It has everything that you need and it's well maintained. I love the location and the security of the condo complex that I feel safe. It's a good place to stay for yourself or with another person and to enjoy the peace and quiet time of the apartment. Kimberly and husband always make sure you are comfortable with your stay at the studio. I think this will be my place stay every time I travel to Isabela, PR. I highly recommend this place to stay if you a couple or a single person who is just looking to relax and enjoy the quiet moments away from the busy city.

This is a great setup. One thing I liked in particular is that there are windows on three sides, so it is very bright and breezy. It comes pretty much as advertised. As others have mentioned, it was quite clean and since it is part of a gated complex it seems very safe. Kim was great to deal with and quickly resolved some small issues we had (the surge protector popped on the WIFI unit that is located in the condo downstairs). We would definitely come back here. Although we visited some of the more well known beaches during our stay, we ended up spending most of our time on the beach adjacent to the apartment complex. On the weekend there were maybe a half dozen people on it, but during the week it wasn't so crowded:) It was plenty beautiful, though you have to walk down a little ways to get to the swimmable (not rocky) part. BTW, just to give you a little better picture of the setup: The gated complex is a set of 5-6 story buildings arranged in a rectangle with parking in the middle. This unit is in a building on one of the sides of the rectangle; it doesn't directly face the beach though you can see the ocean a bit. Kim owns a 3 BR condo that is on the 5th floor of the building as well as this studio apartment that is directly above the condo. This studio is sort of on the roof -- very cool -- surrounded by a sizable terrace. If you have more than two people or want to do much cooking, you should consider renting the condo (we looked at it -- very nice) or the combination of the condo and the studio.

We didn't want to leave. Everything is there that you need for a great vacation right by the ocean. The place is clean, well maintained and incredibly well color coordinated. Everything seems to really belong there. The owner did a really nice job with the interior decor. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is of an excellent size and has constant hot water (very unusual for Puerto Rico :-) It is nice to have a large terrace like this too. We used it a lot. The view out to the ocean is beautiful. Looking forward to going back. Thank you for a great time.

My wife and I stayed at the studio apartment for the second time and it was just as nice, if not nicer, than the first time. I noticed that the metal railing around the rooftop deck had been replace with vinyl railing which looked a lot nicer. There is also a new umbrella for the patio table which reminds me of a tiki hut. As before, there is an ice chest that we kept full of our favorite beverages as we toured the island. Kim also furnishes a couple of folding camping-type chairs if you want to walk across the street to the beach and admire the beautiful blue water and listen to the crashing waves. We plan to return as often as Kim has availability and I don't think you can find a better deal for a private getaway with less than hotel prices.

We spent one week at this charming place in Isabela. For the most part, the studio suited our needs. We appreciated the use of beach towels and privacy of the space (it is on the top floor of a complex with a view of the ocean). The set-up is nice, with a bed and full sized pull out futon. Of course, the beaches there are amazing and there's a square with some food options - not very high quality from our experience, but they are right there. Note that the water in this area is better known for surfing, so some people could find it a bit too rough. In terms of food, I think we would have done better making a grocery run and preparing our own meals (the kitchenette has only a mini-oven and microwave, but there is a grill right on the porch). Overall, we'd be happy to stay there again for a quiet vacation away from the 'action'.

What can I say, that I had great time in Puerto Rico with the rental apartment. I was happy with space and the availability to so much places with the short distance ride from the complex. The security of the place was great and the cleanness. The apartment had everything that I needed plus a little bit more that I really didn't need to worry. Kimberly and her husband were great when I needed something and they tried to help every way possible that they made my stay more comfortable. They provided full instruction in how to get to the location even places where to eat and shop. So in overall I had a great time and I will rent again the apartment because it was comfortable for my needs and it provided a home away from home feel.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week in June and it was great! The apartment is across a small street from a very nice swimmable beach. We ran along a dedicated running/biking lane by the beach almost every day. The little gym in the complex was just enough too. The outdoor shower on the rooftop was my favorite, but it also has a very nice pool area. Only thing I kind of missed was a bigger fridge and a washer/dryer. There was great security in good area, and I never felt threatened or unsafe once. The owner was very professional and available at all times. The directions were a little confusing only because there was road construction and the detours threw us off. I would definitely recommend this place to any couple wanting to relax. The only thing I would caution (and not having to do anything w/the apt) is get a jeep or suv, the roads in town are very bad with big potholes. I got 2 flats with a bent rim and lost a hubcap from them. All the extras like the beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and umbrella were appreciated. Thanks so much for letting us stay, we will be back!

My sister and I rented the studio condo for 9 days. We were soooo pleasantly surprised to find that this property is EXACTLY as it is advertised. It is absolutely gorgeous. It has the most comfortable relaxing home-like feeling. At the end of our rental time, we did not want to leave. The property is pretty much pristine, which was very important to me. Cleanliness is the most important factor for me to feel comfortable staying away from home and this property was by far the BEST placed I've ever stayed while on vacation. No hotels come near to what you get in this rental. Kim and her husband Manuel were both the most gracious and helpful hosts to work with. Kim has to be a perfectionist, :-) because everything was exactly on point. She was so professional and thorough in all of the transactions, dealings and arrangements. She was very helpful and always available for any questions we had. Manuel, was on site if we needed anything and was just a gem. I highly and completely recommend anyone looking for high quality comfort at a most reasonable cost, to contact Kimberly and Manuel. You absolutely WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. That's a guarantee!!! Thank you Kim and Manuel. God bless you and your family. I will definitely be contacting you again, whenever I return to Isabela, P.R.

As advertised, the condominium complex is safe, well maintained, and located in a lovely oceanfront setting. The studio is private, clean, and offers all the comforts of home. In addition to enjoying the laid back seaside atmosphere of Isabela, we were able to sightsee and dine in nearby rural communities and the west coast beaches. We particularly appreciated the delicious criolla meals, early morning walks on the beach, and lazy balmy evenings on our rooftop patio. The owner and condo personnel were graciously attentive, and the people we encountered everywhere we went were welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this condo and look forward to renting it again. A very relaxing get-away.

What can we say the condo was great. Everything we needed was there. Spacious even for five people. The beach life was wonderful and the kiosks (cafe/restaurants) fantastic. Everyone to a person truly and honestly friendly. Made friends, danced the rumba, ate chicken on a stick. Sunday night was a blast. Didn't try karioke (didn't know any songs). Local markets had everything we needed. Will come back - soon!

Having this been my fourth time to that part of the island and being the avid surfers my girlfriend and i are, staying in Isabela is our best case scenario. We were not expecting the "extras" that were included in the studio such as the cooler (VERY important for beach life) the chairs, the surfboard wax!, the tennis rackets, and extra beach towels. It felt like a home away from home and was perfectly private and quiet. I don't think we saw more then 5 people on our way in or out who were also staying there. The gym facility was a surprise and we were able to work out the overeating and drinking we are accustomed to on vacation. the nearby restaurants on Rt. 110 are delicious and the beachfront bars at Jobos beach are fun (awesome jukebox at Happy Belly's and Country Pizza)...One Ten Thai has the best beer in Puerto Rico (if that's what your in to) and all this is within a 15 minute or less drive. I recommend this place to a couple who is looking to avoid the rat race and attitudes of noisy Rincon but still want the quality of restaurants and entertainment.

This place is exactly as described, it's super clean, nicely decorated and it's the perfect size for 2 or even 3. The owners thought of every little detail as far as what one might need, like pots/pans and dishes, beach towels, hair dryer, tennis rackets, there was even a pair of tweezers, just in case! The ice trays were even filled. Being on the top floor made for beautiful star gazing at night while listening to the ocean. Better than staying at some hotel, that's for sure. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Perfect studio for a small family or a couple. We really enjoyed the large terrace...did some rooftop sunrise yoga; did some grilling! The studio is clean, well maintained, nicely decorated, great quality linens, snorkel gear, tennis rackets, a cooler. There was not one thing lacking! Great overall complex too. Felt very secure with the securtiy guard and gate. Pool was awesome and well maintained. The staff at the property was very helpful as well. We were always the first ones in the pool in the morning. Sometimes there were a lot of bugs in the pool from the overnight, but the onsite staff got the net out and throughly cleaned it up for us when we requested. Recommeded.

Kimberly was a great hostess during our stay in the studio apartment! If anything went wrong she would help us fix the problem, weather it was the shower or the refrigerator. My sister and I stay at the studio and we had my niece stay for a few days with us. It was a great place to sleep, have a BBQ, go to the beach or just plain relax. This studio comes with just about everything you need. The property has a pool and we forgot all about it. I loved the Village Shops in Villa pezquera. The food that was served was great! When you visit Isabela all you want to eat is Crilla food. The food is great, the people relaxed and lay back. Shopping was a breeze. Other places to eat while in Isabela would be Three Brother Freeze on road number 2 pass the Wal-mart on your right. Other places to eat was Mr. Mofongo in Aguadilla. There is also a lady that sells frituras off of 4496 heading towards Villa Montana. Great people, great food and you can't ask for more when you are having fun on the beach. Thank you Kimberly we had a blast! Rebecca

Many places promise a beach paradise but thanks to Kim this place delivers. We were a little worried at first as this apartment seemed too good to be possibly true but after looking around it was without a doubt the best decision we could have made for our stay in Isabela. Kim has thought of everything that might be needed on a trip to this area and the location is outstanding, there are many restaurants and a grocery store within just a few miles. There is outstanding beach access directly in front of the beach court with a calm pool to swim in just a short walk away, and excellent snorkling opportunities along the rest of the coast. If you are considering a stay in the Isabela area you should give this Studio Apartment serious consideration you will be very happy you did.

My 5 nights and days were very enjoyable. Owner was there while i rented the place and she was very helpful but did not bother me. Was only there for when i had questions. Beaches are clean but pretty rough for swimming near the condo. But there are areas to swim within walking distance. Studio was clean and well kept. Every thing you would need for 1-3 people. Eating area is walking distance from studio for lunch and supper. Ate at restraunt called El Anzuelo @ Villa pesouera which is about .1 or .2 from the studio. Place is very safe to walk and do things. Really enjoyed my stay and hope to go back. Was everything and more than what was stated in the ad.

Had a great time in Isabela. This was my first time to Puerto Rico. The studio was perfect for my boyfriend and I, he really enjoyed the outside shower. We ate at Happy Belly's right down the street for dinner, which I would recommend. Also, if you like horseback riding, Tropical Trail Rides is right down the street from the studio as well. Had a great time riding the horses on the beach. The studio is not far from Old San Juan either. Great pool. Overall had a great vacation here!

We were very pleased with the studio apartment. It was spic-and-span clean and was outfitted with everything one needs to have a comfortable and stress free stay. If you need something, the local woman who takes care of the apartment is only five minutes away . Even though it was a holiday weekend, we especially liked the quiet setting just a few steps from the beach. We played tennis on the well-maintained tennis court, walked to the beach, and enjoyed sitting outside on our private terrace for morning coffee and breakfast. We spent one afternoon hiking in the nearby Bosque Estatal de Guajataca (Guajataca State Forest) and visited the Cueva del Viento (underground wind cave) located deep in the heart of the forest. On Friday morning we went to the mountain community of San Sebastian for the Farmer's Market where we bought the sweetest mangos and pineapple we've ever tasted.

My wife and I wanted to get away from city life so opted for Isabela instead of San Juan. My main mission on this trip was to explore the interior of the island since we tackles the majority of the coastline on a previous trip. I would recommend driving the Cordillera Central which is a panoramic route through the highest elevations and beautiful scenery of Puerto Rico. When they say "off the beaten path" they were not kidding. On the map what appears to be major highways are not much more than alleys. My wife kept thinking I made a wrong turn and way in someones driveway. The studio apartment we rented from Kim was perfect for the 2 of us. It had every thing we needed for a relaxing time at the beach and a great place to come "home to" after a long day of driving and exploring. It is right across the street from the beach and Villa Pesquera which has a variety of kiosks and small restaurants serving for favorite mixed drinks, puerto rican favorites of even hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza. I would highly recommend this apartment for a couple or couple with a child or friend. Correspondence with Kim is effortless and informable....and the price beats the heck out any tiny hotel room you can find.

Just got home from the Studio and what a great experience. The place was even better than the pictures. The view from East to West was wonderful and the breeze was almost always cool due to being at the top of the complex. The beach chairs, cooler and hair dryer were more than expected also. The place is totally clean and comfortable, it was like staying at the Hilton (without the expense). We would stay there again and its perfect to just get away or make it the " look forward to return place" after day trips away from the area. Kim made all the arrangements easy and was very prompt to return our security deposit, thanks Kim.

My husband and I spent 7 days in this beautiful stuido apt. We had everything we needed. It is very clean, nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. It sits on the rooftop (we were the only ones up there) and it so open with nothing but the sky overhead when you walk outside the studio. Beach towels, a cooler, children's toys, books, a puzzle among other items are provided for entertainment while indoors. Also, an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, extra sheets and pillows are provided. The condo and all common areas are very well maintained. The Villa Pesquera across the street was one of our favorite places. There you will find great latin music and wonderful people. There is also a convenience store located in the middle of the square owned by the nicest people ever! The weekends are really fun with several different bands all playing in different parts of the square. Just on top of the hill in the city of Isabela you will find all your shopping needs. The beach is just steps away, very beautiful and very safe. We cannot wait to return. The owner of this studio is very friendly and responsive to all questions and concerns, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She provided us with step by step details of how to enter the security gate, where to go and how to get retrieve the keys. Everything went so smooth! The security guards, the ground keepers and the manager of the property were always so helpful, very polite and very nice. I really just cannot say enough nice things about this place. It is exactly as described and then some. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying themselves while staying here. I'm ready to start planning my next trip and this is where I want to stay and do it all over again!

We stayed in the apartment last month and had a great time. Kim, the owner was very nice and accomodating with our travel times. The apartment was very clean and nice inside. I'm glad I found this website because the penthouse apartment beat a hotel hands down. We were fortunate enough to not have to run the AC for the entire trip. With the vented windows and a consistant breeze it was perfect. Also the terrace was a great place to relax in the evening and watch the sunset. There are many places to go and things to do within 15 minutes of the apartment. It is a great location and we hope to be coming back soon.

WOW! What a wonderful place Isabela is. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much for making your unit available to us! It was the perfect size for us, although after seeing the 3 bedroom apt. below that you own, I wish we could have stayed there, LOL we would have loved to watch that big screen TV. You have a beautiful apt and it was well kept and very clean when we arrived. Thank you for accommodating us for an early check in, although we didn't actually get there til 2 PM . I really appreciated having a guarded community. Although I felt extremely safe there, it was comforting to know there was a guard at the gate 24/7 and they checked who you were every time you came in. It was helpful to have my own opener to the gate, but they always made sure they knew who was coming in and out.The terrace was amazing, the view was surprisingly nice considering we are on the side of the building. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sun was always shining!. I loved the fact you had an outside shower. My daughter loved it, and it kept sand out of the apt.to a minimum. The furniture on the terrace was so comfortable and there was plenty of chairs. The beach decor on the interior of the apt was in keeping with the Isabella flair of fun and beach all at the same time. I would though have liked to have had a full kitchen with the sink in the apt, it was a bit cumbersome to continually go out side on the terrace to wash dishes, but we dealt with it. The pool was beautiful, nice lounge chairs to sit on and it even had a baby pool, a bathroom etc. it was very nice. Thank you for accommodating us! It was fantastic! I'd recommend it highly!
