This stunning modern, large home is located right off McGregor Boulevard in the historic area of Fort Myers. It is close to the Edison Ford Winter Estates,15 minutes to Fort Myers Beach, 5 minutes to the Red Sox Summer Training Stadium, 25 minutes from the airport, golf courses and much much more. Enjoy a short walk from the house to the McGregor Cafe which is a local favorite restaurant with an outdoor dining patio.
Have fun in the privacy of your own heated pool in a large private fenced in backyard with tropical gardens. Enjoy cocktails or a beer as you lay out on the deck and relax in the privacy of this very cool relaxing home. The swimming pool also has a child safety guard around the perimeter of the pool for peace of mind with small children.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with a tropical down comforter and duvet, antique nightstands an attached master bathroom suite with cherry wood vanity, double sinks,granite counter tops, glass walk in shower and marble tile floors. French doors off of the master bedroom open up to the pool. The master bedroom has its own TV with cable.
Two other bedrooms have queen size beds and the 4th bedroom has a twin bed with a desk and computer with internet access.
Enjoy cooking in an all new gourmet kitchen with granite counters, maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar. This kitchen has been fully stocked with all your cooking and entertaining needs.
The family room has a large 40 inch flat screen TV with cable, DVD, stereo, large movie library, games for the kids and puzzles.
This home is called the Studio House because a local well known artist used the house for a studio and office.
We provide paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, organic soap, organic shampoos and conditioner.
This private home is well maintained by its owners and not rental agents. Owners greet you upon check in with garage door opener, house keys, local maps, golf guides, and other information that you may request upon your arrival.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We originally chose to buy the house to use as a studio for Debra. As Debra worked from the house it was continually being remodeled. We decided to turn it into a vacation rental in 2007. By then, we had remodeled and upgraded every square inch of the house. It is a nice house.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I would say there are many unique benefits to this house... It is in a great location, close to all the beaches, shopping, golf courses, shelling, dolphin watching, boating, tennis and more. Laying out by the pool or floating on one of the rafts is one of the most relaxing things for me to do at the house. It is so private and quiet.We personally love contemporary furnishings. The house has new upscale furnishings with a mix of some cool antiques. I am also a clean freak. Guests will love this house because I keep it up to my high standards so they can enjoy a comfortable house during there stay in Florida.
Thomas and Mina Edison spent the winter months at this home. Edisons lab is across the street from the main house.
This is a local favorite. It is a short walk from the house. Enjoy the outdoor dining patio. I recommend breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.
My friends own this great spa and salon if you would like to treat yourself to a day of pampering. My other friend has a fabulous boutique store right next door called SHE 3.

My husband and I live 2 miles down the road from our vacation rental. We love the historic charming neighborhoods off McGregor Blvd in Fort Myers. We both are working professional artists. My husband is an award winning metal sculptor and his work is collected all over the US. His work has been published in New Art International 2009 as one of the up and coming new contemporary atists. Some of his work can be seen around the house. Jim made one of the queen sized bed frames from steel that he designed and welded, the garden gates he made from wood and steel and the coffee table in the family room he made in the 1990's. I work as a muralist and paint very large scale canvas paintings. I am also a pilot. I love to fly all over Florida in a Cessna when I am not in my art studio.
