  This condo was the perfect spot for my vacation in New Smyrna Beach. The photos in the listing are a true representation of what you will see when you arrive for your stay. The condo is well stocked and is close to amenities with a grocery store directly across the street from the condo. Don and his wife were very helpful as I arrived after the office had closed for the day. I have to say that the view from the balcony was my favorite part of the condo. Spectacular waking up and having coffee while watching the day unfold over New Smyrna Beach. I would highly recommend this condo for your vacation stay. Jackie Kenniston

  We spent the Thanksgiving week at Don's condo in NSB! This one bedroom condo was VERY spacious, we had 7 people for Thanksgiving dinner and had PLENTY of room! The view was AWESOME! Very nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with! Don was very easy to work with (VERY prompt on the deposit return) and we will deffantely be returning to stay at his condo. It was like staying at a friends place. We have always stayed at hotels when visiting NSB...NO MORE! We had even left a couple of things there by mistake and he emailed us about them and returned them ASAP! Thanks Don, we had NO idea we had left them! Everyone from Don, to the office staff to, the housekeepers were very nice! Oh, and the housekeepers do a great job, everything was very clean andwell stocked! You will VERY much enjoy your stay here and we will ALWAYS stay here on our return trips! Thanks Don for making our holiday such a success!!! Barb & Kelley

  This was our first time arranging a condo rental and our first time in New Smyrna Beach -- WE WILL BE RETURNING both to Don's condo and NSB!! Thank you to Don Horan for making this experience such an easy and stress-free one. Upon arrival we are provided an area map and a condo map making it a "snap" to get one's bearings. We found the condo is very well appointed - The kitchen is FULLY equipped for cooking and eating - BEAUTIFUL view of the (heated) pool/ocean areas from the balcony .. (the photo is true to form) - We found this location/town to be a very peaceful location .. calm .. and slow .. If you're looking for "night life" .. head north to Daytona .. there's no Mickey or Minnie here! :-) In terms of outside conveniences - there is a liquor store and restaurants immediately across the road with a "soon to be opened" Dollar General Market, but for now the Publix is a very close 2 minute drive. Just a short 5 minute drive away is the TurtleMound nature reserve .. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL place to wander and lose oneself ... the Indian River on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. The "Space Coast" at Merritt Island is another wonder to be seen -- all of this is a very easy drive away. The bottom line here: If you're looking to enjoy the ocean in a peaceful and tranquil environment then THIS is the place.   We stayed here over the weekend - condo was beautiful and well-outfitted. We were slightly off-season, so it was very quiet throughout the facilities and not crowded at all on the beach. Would totally recommend.

  This was the perfect break in every way,from the initial contact with the owner to the end of our stay which was all too quick,communication was excellent with very fast response to our questions and booking,the property is exactly as described and shown in the photos and is maintained to a high standard,the beach is beautiful and our day started off with an hour long walk before breakfast,this is the perfect time to visit as the offseason has just started so we had all of the good and no traffic or crowds. There are many excellent restaurants close by,SONAPA is about 5 minute drive and our favourite was The Garlic which was excellent and about 10 mins by car,the nearest food store is a Publix about 7/8 mins away. I highly recommend this for a vacation,everything great and nothing to regret,we will return.Our deposit was returned within days.

  This is a great condo with easy access to a fantastic beach. Don's condo is furnished very nicely and in very good condition, with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The complex staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the balcony patio which looked out over the courtyard and out to the beach. We could have our coffee in the morning out there and a glass of wine in the evening, just relaxing and enjoying the view. There are many fun restaurants in the area from inside dining to dining on the dock, watching the pelicans and porpoise. Not far is mainland New Smyrna, a quaint town where there are many lovely shops to visit when you want a break from the beach. My husband and I have been going to this beach for over 30 years and we never tire of being there. Castle Reef and this condo is for all ages and we would highly recommend it to anyone for a great beach vacation. The owner, Don, is very easy to work with and answered all of our questions before renting.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  My wife and I stayed in this condo for a week and loved it. It is perfect for a single couple, but also has 2 sofa beds if you have any guests. It is very well maintained with a great view of the ocean and very easy access to the beach. The beaches are very clean and there are lots of little shops and restaurants around the area for a very unique experience at the beach. Thanks, Don.

  This was our third year at Castle Reef in Don's condo. It has all the amenities. His condo is in beautiful condition. The view from the balcony is perfect - pool, beach and ocean. There are many excellent restaurants in the area and it is convenient to shopping and numerous activities. We're looking forward to our return stay in 2013.We have recommended our condo at Castle Reef to a number of people.

  Don's condo was everything as advertised. It was quiet, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Access to the beach was easy, with my wife and I enjoying numerous walks at sunrise. The view of the ocean from the condo balcony was a great way to end a day. What was especially nice was Don's phone calls to make sure the condo was prepared for us and that everything was going well. We had a very enjoyable time.

  I stayed here with my family in September 2011. We had great time. The condo is located very close to the pool and beach access. We have small children and the condo was clean, fully stocked with necessities and we overall had a great stay. The owner was very friendly and very fast return of deposit. Great vacation and definitely will rent again !

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
