This newly remodeled riverfront cottage is the perfect setting for a Russian River getaway.
The cottage has new beds, linens, kitchen goods, and furnishings. The master bedroom features a king bed and French doors to a river view deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The living room has a gas fireplace, pull-out couch and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with new pots and pans, dishes, etc. There is a gas grill and table on the deck. There is also an adjacent studio cottage with a queen bed and full bath, as well as a small but fully stocked kitchen. The cottage/studio combo sleeps 6-8.
The cottage has a large river view deck as well as a front porch overlooking the front lawn perfect for volleyball or badminton. The back yard slopes gently to the river deck and dock. Enjoy barbecuing on the back deck after taking a float or swim off of the dock.
The house is minutes from the charming towns of Guerneville and Monte Rio. It is located in Sonoma County, famous for its vineyards… drive ten minutes to the nearest wine tasting. The house is only 20 minutes to Salt Rock beach where the Russian River meets the Pacific. Armstrong State Park, with its towering Redwoods and hiking trails is minutes from Guerneville. The area abounds with special events, recreational activities, gourmet restaurants and shops.
