Absolutely the best!

Our family has rented about a dozen places at Wild Dunes over the years but this home topped them all! We vacationed here for a week with four generations of family and friends and we could not have been more comfortable and pampered. The house has a wonderful floor plan, spacious and very well constructed. Even with a crowd, noise was never an issue and we absolutely loved the THREE different living areas (and the elevator). The furnishings were understated but oh so elegant and lovely. The home just exudes graciousness and quality. Even though the home is not oceanfront, the views of the ocean were even better than expected and the ample porches were perfect for al fresco dining, playing cards, rocking babies, or just watching the kids play on the beach. VERY short walk to the beach with no streets to cross. Sunrises from the huge rooftop deck were awe-inspiring. The pool was wonderful...very refreshing and deep enough that even the young adults in our group were happy to hang out there rather than making the short walk to the Wild Dunes pools. Everything we needed was available, from kitchen amenities to pool/beach chairs and toys. Plenty of parking (at one point we had five cars in the driveway) and an easy walk or bike ride to the Grand Pavilion area of the resort. The owner was a delight to work with, despite my many questions before our arrival! Fabulous house in a great location...you will love it!

This home is far more luxurious than the pictures indicate. Great for entertaining. We stayed during Thanksgiving last year and entertained a large crowd. There was ample room for everyone to sit and chat and eat. The porches provided additional space to relax and enjoy the closeness to the ocean. Loved the outside showers, the walkway to the beach, the top floor deck for watching sunrises, the open floor plan, well equipped kitchen, bedroom linens, master bathroom and walk in closet--all contributed to make this home an extraordinary value. Not much parking space and limited kitchen linens a bit inconvenient, but all in all, a wonderful vacation home. Would definitely return.
