Amerind Luxury Townhomes

The nine townhomes of Amerind were the first luxury townhomes built in Breckenridge and enjoy one of the premium in-town locations. Few other downtown locations have a direct view from the front deck out to the vista of the Breckenridge ski peaks. The complex backs up to the Arapahoe National Forest and the view from the rear deck is beautiful. The Blue River runs along the south end, and the trout can be seen from the ridge that borders our complex and the National Forest. The Peak 9 lift is a short walk of 500m the Maggie and Main Street shops are also a short 450m walk . No need to worry about parking. If you are not inclined to walk or wish to visit Peak 8, the Breckenridge shuttle stop is just outside on our street.

This has always been our private home and was only rented for two years, many years ago while I worked in Europe. With one child a freshmen in college and the second a varsity high school basketball player, we just haven't had time to enjoy our mountain retreat. So we are offering you the same family oriented luxury we have cherished in our beautiful Breckenridge. Our townhome was professionally decorated and has three master suites, one on each floor. The largest suite on the top floor is large and spacious with vaulted ceilings, king size bed and large chaise. It is completed with a large master bath with both a walk-in shower and a sunken Jacuzzi tub with a window looking out to the lodge pole pines of the National Forest.

The main floor has a large family room that looks out onto the peaks of Breckenridge and has two large leather recliner sofas, a large matching leather recliner, full entertainment systems with a 42" high definition LCD television, HD DVD player, VHS, and hifi sound system. It also has a good selection of DVD's, books, and board games as well as many DVD's and VHS tapes for children. It is furnished in a stunning combination of modern and mountain primitive furniture. We added the few nails and screws in the primitive pieces since each is more than 150 years old. There is a mountain stone, wood burning fireplace, with cords of seasoned wood stored in the single car, heated garage. It is complimented by a dining area (seats eight) and a fully equipped, spacious kitchen with all the options you would expect in a luxury town home. This floor also has another master suite with queen size bed, entertainment system of 42" HDTV and a HD DVD player, and a full bath with combination shower/bath tub. Each bedroom has its own telephone and humidifier and there is a large central humidifier and two telephones and FAX machine in the family area.

The master bedroom suite on the top floor is truly spacious with king size bed, large chaise lounge, and another 42" HDTV system with HD DVD player. The master bath is huge with a sunken jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The view from the jacuzzi tub out to the Arapahoe National Forest is truly spectacular.

The ground floor has a washer/dryer, full sauna, and the third bedroom suite with sofa, twin beds, and a game/entertainment system with HDTV LCD TV set-up, full surround sound and Nintendo/PlayStation gaming setup with a good selection of games. It also features a second computer linked to our high speed wireless internet which is available throughout our home. This system is suitable for surfing, facebook, Myspace, etc. It also has its own full bath with walk-in shower. This has always been the kids' hangout. There is a door out to the single car heated garage, with additional parking for a second vehicle by our front door, and additional parking in our guest parking area just a few steps away.

There are many original ski signs throughout our home that we bought when Breckenridge changed the ski signs several years ago and auctioned these for charity. These and the Biss paintings are expensive and inventoried on checkout.

The heated garage is home to four mountain bikes, (two adult and two teen complete with helmets and tire pump). There is also a good selection of skis (9 sets ranging from 4-6 year old size to a set of 203cm full out, expert only, Italian racing Squadra Corsa's), ski poles, and several sets of boots in various sizes for guests use. These are provided for your use AT YOUR OWN RISK and we recommend you have the bindings set by a professional ski shop according to your weight and ability. There are also two complete sets of golf clubs with pull carts for guests who wish to take advantage of Breckenridge’s premier 27 hole golf course. If you are a golfer, you are in for an unexpected treat. I consider Breckenridge Golf Course to be the equal of any of our high end golf courses in Florida. (And of course, your ball goes about 20% farther!) There are also various sleds, snow disks, etc for your use. These are provided for your use at your own risk, and we expect you to replace any item you might lose or damage. Our property manager checks the sports equipment. He is also available at all times to handle any problems that might occur. We want your stay in our townhome to be just like you were staying in your own mountain place, complete with all the things you don’t need to buy. (Spices, condiments, small tools, etc.) We only ask that you replace anything you use for the next guest.

  • Everything was wonderful, could not have been more pleased with the accomodations. You have a beautiful home. Thanks for sharing it with us. We rented from Alpine Sports and the owner gave us a discount and was truly a wonderful man. The kids purchased Tubes from a grocery store and went to Carter Park and had a great time. Very inexpensive and they loved it. Of course we have something similar that we pull behind our boat, so this was great fun. We left the tubes by the front door. Curt, your property manager was very professional, and anything we needed he responded. The pre-stocking is a wonderful idea; I did not need anything because we stopped at the gropcery store and purchased way too much. But I love the idea that if we needed something it was available and the market in town was close and wonderful to replenish. The only thing I can say is FUN FUN FUN AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. The Quick Silver Lift is right around the corner; town is walking distance, house backs up to a beautiful view. Very quiet neighborhood, I could go on and on, I truly have no complaints. We also enjoyed the Blues Bistro Club, great food and music; and fun atmosphere. Lots of nice galleries, and the Spa you suggested, truly magnbificent.   • My husband and I have stayed at this property several times and just love it. It gives you a warm feeling, very homey. We love the fact that it is close to everything-skiing in winter, golfing in the summer, we have visited at both times of the year and can't wait to go back. Since we live in Florida, it is the only place we would choose to stay when we are looking for a change in the seasons. It really is a great place to stay!!
