Winding Hill is situated at the end of a quiet and peaceful winding lane, along the shores of picturesque Greenlaw Cove. The home backs to expansive shore front and views over the cove, where an inlet wraps around one side of the property, further extending those impressive views.
The home is surrounded by forest, offering ample privacy, and often visited by a variety of birds and wildlife, including a mother deer who brings her young to nibble in the grassy yard.
Abundant windows capture the surrounding beauty of the property - carrying nature in to this "soft" contemporary home. The interior is laced with quality furnishing throughout, exuding a casual comfort and warmth. The layout is versatile, with bedrooms on three separate floors, and a separate in law "apartment".
A master suite is upstairs (complete with private bath with Jacuzzi tub, walk in closet, large picture window overlooking cove), 2 spacious bedrooms on the main floor (each enjoying A+ views, main floor full bath), and 2 more sleeping areas on the lower level floor (with two queen sized futons with privacy divider, and 1/2 bath) laundry room, and storage room.
A newly built bunk house/apartment has been added to the garage and provides sleeping for four, a sitting area, and a full bath. This home easily lends itself to both smaller and larger parties, cozy enough to be romantic, but spacious enough to house larger families or groups.
An oversized back deck covers nearly the entire back of the home, and provides a nice place for larger groups to gather. Outdoor table seating and cushion-covered lounge chairs will have you soaking in the sights and sounds of this incredible setting.
When you are ready for activity, the shore front is gently accessed, and perfect for slipping in to a kayak and exploring this picturesque area, or dipping in for a summer's swim.
