This spacious chalet style home overlooks an 18-hole golf course, 8500 ft up in the mountains of Angel Fire. Home is five minutes from the ski lifts and only a couple of blocks from the tennis courts, park and country club.
It sleeps 15 people in beds. The huge, wraparound deck is ideal for enjoying the beautiful mountain and golf course views.
This three level home features a living room with stone fireplace and satellite TV, kitchen, two bedrooms and one full bath on the main floor. Two comfortable armchairs face a second TV with an X-Box system.
The second floor has a large loft complete with a stone fireplace, home office with full size desk and master suite complete with full bath.
The combination game room/fourth bedroom is on the basement level and has a pool table and satellite TV. Perfect place for the kids, it has three queen beds and three twins, a 1/2 bath and a large capacity washer/dryer.

Let's face it, rental homes are never as nice as your own. But, having stayed at two homes found originally on Home Away, I can honestly say I'm done with this as an avenue for vacations. These homes are rented week after week, month after month with no time taken to refresh and repair. Over time, they look as good as a fraternity house at the end of a semester. Specifically, this house, during our stay, had the following problems: - LR furniture is worn and old. Saggy cushions, no back support, very uncomfortable. Lighting was poor and not conducive to reading - of course, who would try to read on that horrible furniture. - Kitchen had very limited supplies including ONE SPOON (how does that accommodate a possible 15 people), old pots/pans with teflon flaking off, dishwasher that did not clean (we just used it to sanitize dishes we washed), no hand washing materials available like soap, sponges, dish drainer. - Bedroom on main level was very cold. Finally figured out dresser had been placed over HVAC vent so room was getting no heat. Had to rearrange furniture ourselves. Dress had 7 drawers but 3 were broken, so we just laid our clothes in our suitcases on floor. Clothes armoire was also broken. - Bedroom on main level had door knob hanging by a screw, barely worked. - Bathroom on main level had clogged shower head and very low water pressure. Towels were old, ratty and mismatched. Towel racks had been removed in bathroom and none were provided in bedrooms, so we hung towels on doors of broken armoire. - Fireplace in LR did not vent properly causing smoke to collect in LR/Kitchen. Even with fan/vent running, smoke would come into room. - Lack of sufficient cleaning supplies and tools to simply help us keep the place in decent shape. Broom, dustpan, sponges, cleaners were nonexistent. - 3/4 Bath in basement is a stretch. Shower head is so low, only children can use it. Head is also clogged with mineral deposits and essentially trickles. And, with water temperature hard to regulate, we did not use that bathroom at all. So, 6 people shared bath on main floor. I would not recommend this house to anyone nor would I be inclined to work with the management company (Kokopelli) in that area again. These houses MUST be taken offline from time to time to refresh and repair otherwise reviews like this will become more common.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Mountain Views is the perfect space for our group. Our 3 families had plenty of space and the layout was right on. The property was wonderful and very convenient to all the activities in the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: My name is Mike Seder, and my wife and I bought this vacation home 2006, and we have had many repeat renters over the years. It's fantastic for several families to vacation together and all the kids love the basement "dorm room" where they can watch movies, play pool and have a blast while parents enjoy some quiet time or partying of their own upstairs by the fire!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Angel Fire is so charming, the people are very friendly and there's so much to do! In the summertime they offer some of the best fly fishing around, golf, horseback riding, hiking and the mountain biking can't be beat! There's also white water rafting nearby and beautiful parks for the little ones. The winter offers snow boarding and skiing, of course, but also tubing, ice skating and snow mobiling. The leaves are brilliant in autumn--the Aspen trees are bright gold and will take your breath away. Spring offers wildflowers everywhere, and the wildlife are so wonderful to catch a glimpse of: prairie dogs, elk, deer and lovely birds.
