"Lemonade Stand" is a 12 bedroom house/duplex consisting of two sides, each with 6 bedrooms, 6 full & 1 half bath spread across 3,400 square feet and 3 floors.
Outside of peak weeks & holidays, you can rent just half of the duplex.
Each half of "Lemonade Stand" has 6 bedrooms, 6.5 baths. Everyone has some space of their own. Convenient West Beach location 2 miles west of Highway 59--close to everything but away from the condominiums and crowds. Located on the north side of Beach Boulevard, directly across from the beach with easy access. House/duplex has its own private pool (with shallow layout area), large deck with for lounge chairs, tables and chairs, and covered areas for reprieve from the sun--perfect for relaxing.
Each side of the first floor has a family room with HDTV/DVD, video game player and board games, plus two bedrooms, two baths and a laundry right where you come in from the beach or pool. Each side of the second floor has large living and dining areas, plus a kitchen with a big island and two dishwashers, double oven, ice machine, over sized refrigerator and beverage fridge. You will also find a powder room plus bedroom with private bath here. Each side of the third floor has three bedrooms each with private bath. All floors have private decks on the Gulf and pool/Little Lagoon sides.
This house/duplex has luxury details including granite in the kitchen and baths, tile floors throughout, and lots of windows. Each side has 2 full laundry rooms. Kitchens are fully equipped, bed and bath linens provided--just bring your beach towels.
Other amenities include: HDTVs in each bedroom, large HDTVs with DVD players in living and family rooms, video game players with games, Wi-Fi connection, outdoor showers, pool toys, pool lounge chairs, beach chairs and beach carts, grill area by the pool deck, and lots of covered parking.

Why the Owner Chose Homes, Single Family
We had two family friendly duplexes in this stretch of West Beach that we love, and ended up with an opportunity with Lemonade Stand to build another. By this time we had discovered how much we enjoy working with families who want to come vacation here, and we love having projects each year on the houses to keep them looking fresh. Having the houses close to each other makes it possible to care for all of them.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the layout deck (shallow area) in the pool--this is the first time we've built one in one of our pools. Lemonade Stand also has a huge covered area under the house with long picnic tables we had made to seat everyone. One family that gathers here has an annual square dance in that big space.
We also like that you can walk to the corner market, seafood shop or eat at West Beach Grill.
Watch the tides roll in and out, fish for speckled trout & flounder, hunt hermit crabs

Owner's Map of Homes, Single Family
We are a family with school aged children. We discovered Gulf Shores, and unexpectedly had jobs that brought us to live here. We built our first "family reunion" house, Dream Big, and discovered that many more families were looking for nice large homes in which to gather their families. Life brought us lemons when the recession ended the jobs that brought us here. Our leap of faith in building this big house and focusing our efforts on our vacation rentals and those of neighbors, was how we turned it into Lemonade--thus, this house was dubbed Lemonade Stand.
