**Great Vacation for a Girls Get Away!! We had a wonderful time at the Sunset house...Beautiful home and decorated very nice...great taste!! We found the location awesome..close enough that we could get to the shops over the bridge and enjoy the gulf...found the pool and hot tub great...Lots of places to eat at the house..we all would recommend the house to our families and friends...and someday we hope to be all back!! Keith stopped in to make sure everything was okay...Thankyou for the use of the golf cart it certainly helped for myself with just having knee surgery...Thanks, again for a great vacation had by 11 women!!

I don't remember when I have been so relaxed. My kids and grandkids had a really fun week. The house was great. Sunsets amazing. My granddaughters loved the pool and my grandson fished on the pier everyday. The house had so many little extras that made it feel like home. The location was superb. Close to everything. Great House and Wonderful Location

We just returned from a week long stay at the Sunset House. Our group was two couples and two small children and we had a wonderful time. The house had plenty of the necessities: garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, and some great extras like coffee and spices. We enjoyed the sunshine and pool each day and were always on the lookout for dolphins (we saw quite a few). Keith was so nice and made us feel right at home during our stay. I hope we will be able to return. Suggestions: go to a local fish market and grab some jumbo shrimp, season them up and grill right at the house Bayside Grille has great pizza and cheap drinks Sanibel Island was a fun day excursion What a great vacation!!!

We were very satisfied with the house and its furnishings and accommodations and accessories and lack of too many rules. The owner came over personally and was very nice and informative and helpful. I only wish it had 4 bedrooms so we could invite another couple next year, which we would love to do. But the sunsets and flocks of birds flying overhead every evening were what aptly named the house. Wonderful!

Family Wedding Vacation

From beginning to end the stay was enjoyable. From the fully stocked kitchens & bathrooms to the pool & spa everything I had forgot to bring was already there (including the sunset). The sunset house exceeded all of our expectations! We enjoyed a family vacation as well as a wedding and could not have chosen a better location to host it all. Two thumbs up to this amazing place!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST FAMILY VACATION TO DATE. The pictures you provided via e-mail were so beautiful, we knew this was the place for us to "run away" to (if just for awhile). There was plenty of room for the kids and they sure enjoyed the pool. You did a marvelous job with the renovations. It truly reflects in the quality of your home. The location of the house was extremely convenient to everything. Shopping, Beach, Restaurants, Boating. Althought it rained (stormed) everyday, we still managed to do everything we planned on seeing and doing. Thank You for letting us stay in your beautiful Oasis....Until we meet again. Absolutely Nothing Disappointing About Sunset House!

My family and I can not express enough how wonderful Sunset House was. The pictures on the website do not do Sunset House and the surrounding property justice. The house was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. The pool was refreshingly clean and a blast for all of us. We loved the multicolor "disco" pool light at night. Everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation can be found in the house. Keith, the owner, even came by to check on how we were doing and to see if everything was going well, which was very nice. He was accessible 24/7, though it was not necessary to contact him because everything was perfect at the house. I took my coffee to the pier every morning in hopes of seeing dolphins or manatees, and I was NOT disappointed. I saw dolphins every morning just lazily swimming by the pier. What a wonderful site. The sunsets, from anywhere in the back of the house, including laying on a raft in the pool, were amazing. The house is about a 20 min walk into town and very close to outlet shopping, tons of great restaurants, Ft Myers beaches, etc... We even took an airboat ride in the Everglades which was only an hour away (just past Naples). What a blast we had on this vacation. Such a blast that we plan on coming back next year. Our vacation at Sunset House was simply the best! I spent several weeks looking for just the right place for our summer vacation and coming here blew us away! We are a pretty well traveled family and have stayed in many beautiful places; this was .... special. Everyday, one of us said - we're coming back here! Anything we needed, Keith had it covered from bug spray to fabric softner to yummy candles, gourmet coffee and chocolates! The house and landscaping are pretty, pretty, pretty! Sunsets, breathtaking! It was cool looking across at the city every night. And we had visits from manatee and dolphins EVERY single day =) A friend from Fort Myers come over and stayed a couple of nights in the totally awesome apartment downstairs, right away she was putting pics on Facebook. This house is close to everything - go to Doc Fords and Sanibel beach for sure! aaahhhh, I love it here! Next time, I'm bringing my Mom and sister's. Thank you Keith

Upon arriving at Sunset house we were amazed at how beautiful and well decorated the house was, also at how very well equipped it is. It is the perfect place for a family getaway or reunion. The sunset views were breath taking and we even got to see DOLPHINS swimming by!! If there is anything that you would think you need to make yourself feel at home this house has it and much much more!!! Keith thank you so very much for opening your beautiful home to our family for this very special occasion. Sunset House will forever be a part of our family. Incredible Stay - Do Not Miss!

If you're considering renting in the Ft. Myers Beach area, this is the place for you. Neighborhood feel, but so much room to spread out and soak in gorgeous views from anywhere on the property. Tasteful decorating, and the views speak for themselves. Perfect location on San Carlos Island to easily access the bridge to Ft. Myers Bridge without encountering much traffic. Several of our guests are looking into renting the Sunset House themselves - and they live in Southwest Florida. I think that says alot; locals wanting to rent this home!! We will be back and thank you, Keith, for allowing us to rent your home for our special occasion!

We were so fortunate to choose Sunset House for our vacation during the first season it was avaliable, so fortunate that we haven't stayed anywhere else since! The location is terrific and we are able to walk to many restaurants, shops and the beach within 15-20 minutes (some closer); although we have a hard time finding a place we'd rather be than out on the deck, grilling some fresh off the boat fish from the market down the street. The sunsets, pool, location and water views are exceptional and the house itself is upscale yet comfortable. However, what brings us back every year is the obvious care and attention that is lavished on this property, as well as it's guests. Each year we notice the small (and large) details that have been upgraded and tended to that are designed to make the experience just that much better. It is clear that the comfort and enjoyment of every guest is first and foremost and the only thing that surpasses this wonderful home and the many amenities it offers, is the warmest of welcomes that comes with it. Keith and Katie, we look forward to seeing you again next spring and thanks for allowing us to feel like your home is our "home away from home" for a little bit each year.

Sunset House is Phenomenal!

Our stay at Sunset House was exceptional! The house is perfect! We traveled with 6 adults and 2 children ages 2 and 5. It has amazing views and the sunsets were just phenomenal. We spent a lot of time in the heated pool even at 9pm in the evening. We were able to see dolphins from the deck of the pool and one of the kids caught a catfish from the pier. It was a perfect place for a family vacation and I can't wait to come back. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in this area. It was close to everything! We just stayed for a week at Sunset House and it was just as we had hoped. Very spacious, clean and a great location. We went with 6 adults and a child and it was perfect. Exceptional Vacation

Our two weeks at the Sunset House couldn't have been nicer. The property was exactly what is represented on this website. It was clean, well-maintained and well-stocked. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, deck, views, hammock and the dock. The wildlife was an unexpected bonus for us. Keith was very prompt in responding to any small concern that we had. We would definitely repeat a visit if there are enough of our family who have time to take advantage of the opportunity.

We had a party of 4 adults and 5 children ages 8-14. We had a great time relaxing and watching the sun set. The condo was so clean and everything we needed was available for us. We had a great vacation at the Sunset House! We had 2 families, totaling 4 adults and 4 kids, and was very comfortable. The downstairs living area was perfect for the big kids!! The house is gorgeous and the pool area looking out over the bay was unbelievable. We spent much of our time hanging out at the pool and fishing off the pier. Since the house was only 3 minutes away from Fort Myers Beach, we were able to fit a lot of fun activites into a day. I would HIGHLY recommend renting the Sunset House...it is a bargain!! You get way more than you pay for!

Sunset House

We loved our week at Sunset House!!! The location is great, house is very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well-equiped. Pool was awesome. Boat dock was the bomb! We saw dolphins and manatees daily. Really enjoyed watching fireworks from the boat dock!!! Owners were very nice. This was our first rental experience of many to come. Don't think I'll ever be able to go back to a standard resort hotel after staying here. The whole family loved the extra space!! And, of course, the sunsets....!!!! The house can COMFORTABLY sleep 8.... (We didn't feel the downstairs couches were sleepable.) Loved the separate living arrangement downstairs, although it smelled a tiny bit musty. My 20-year old son didn't mind a bit though--loved having his "own" place!!! The elevator made it possible for my wheelchair-bound mother to visit!!! It also made loading/unloading much easier! Thanks for sharing your wonderful house!!!

We agree that the futons downstairs don't sleep like beds at the Ritz, but feel they are suitable for overflow accommodations, especially children. The downstairs had not been used for a few weeks, thus the "tiny bit musty" smell noted. We have addressed this issue and assure future guests that the downstairs will meet or exceed your highest expectations....
