Beautiful complete view of the Gulf of Mexico from the 11th floor of our condo. On the back side see the gorgeous sunrises over the Islands of Boca Ciega Bay, and inland to St.Petersburg and beyond. The view is breathtaking and at night you can see the lighthouse at Eggmont Key, and the Gambling ships anchored outside our territorial waters.
During the day watch seabirds, Dolphins, Tarpon, and the occasional family of Manatees coming up to the warmer waters. In season, go down to the beach at night and watch the huge sea turtles coming up on the beach to lay their eggs and return to the sea.
Just 20 minutes away from the best beaches in the U.S.,NORTH BEACH AT FORT DESOTO PARK,and is only a half hour away from the Number 1 beach in the US, CALADESI ISLAND PARK. Walk to John's Pass Village with its restaurants, fishing, boating, shopping and dolphin watching cruises.
The unit is completely furnished with appliances and furniture that are the latest available. All living room furniture is upholstered in leather and the floors are either carpeted or newly covered in skid-proof ceramic tile. (including the balcony).
Ocean sands is walking distance to all shopping, and restaurants of all kinds. Near downtown St.Petersburg and Clearwater. A Winn-Dixie Supermarket and CVS Pharmacy are within walking distance and free internet service is available at the public library just two blocks away.
There are 3 phones at your disposal, and we provide all the latest matching linens like you would use at your home. Change them at your convenience. We provide 4 beach chairs, floats and all bath towels at no extra charge. Free beach chairs are provided at poolside.
ALL LOBBY DOORS HAVE ELECTRONIC SECURITY AND THE GROUNDS ARE PATROLLED BY UNIFORMED SECURITY PERSONNEL THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.
On the recreation deck, there is a Tiki Hut, for entertaining, with a free separate grill for your use. There are bus and trolley services to John's Pass and all over St.Petersburg, Clearwater and surrounding areas. Near to Busch Gardens, and just a 90 minute drive to Disneyworld and its associated attractions. Limo service from the Tampa Airport available directly to the front door.
