Executive-Level Home on the Lake! We rent peace and quiet, complete with deer, owls, and stars. Be prepared for a relaxing and fun vacation, away from it all, year-round!

Open the base level door on our 3-story home, walk under the covered deck and jump in one of the clearest and cleanest lakes around (mildly difficult trail walk to the water). The morning sun view on the lake is worth waking up for!
Greers Ferry Lake has 40,000 acres of water; a fisherman's and/or water-sporter's paradise. Our home is on the north-east side of the lake, within a cove, miles from daily life; bring a cell phone if you want (they work) but tranquility is served 24/7!
Policies: Must be 25 or older to rent; no smoking; reservation/damage deposit of $500. This deposit is refundable after checkout if no damage has occurred. Two, small, house-broken pets only are allowed with a $50 non-refundable deposit. Full rent is due when reservation is made. NO refund for Cancellations. However, we will attempt to re-rent and refund accordinly. There is a one time cleanning fee of $80.
Check in time is 2 pm/check out time is 10 am; Quiet hours are from 10 pm To 8 am (no exceptions, no loud parties, etc.); No Sat to Sat weekly rentals.
Important Notice. The Corps of Engineers owns Greer Ferry Lake and they control who receives a boat dock permit. For those who have them, the corps strictly forbids any rental of the boat dock and they require boats on the lake to be registered with them. We are constantly asked, as are ALL owners of rental property if we have a dock. Our reply to that question in NO manner indicates that we are renting a dock as part of this rental agreement for the house.
We cannot offer any discounts even for military (we are 26 yrs retired AF and have priced our rental competively). Once you agree to rent through email (in writing) and we block the dates, there is NO Cancellation, regardless of a signed contract or not. The opportunity lost from blocking the dates to others requires payment in full.

Just getting too busy kept me from writing this review in August when we stayed at this home. I say "home" because we truly felt at home here. We had a great, relaxing weekend. So much so that while we were discussing our summer plans the whole family want to go back and stay here again. Working with the owner was simple and he was very friendly. We highly recommend this property! Just don't rent it when we want it - that's still up in the air depending on the kids school schedule!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Have you ever felt truly comfortable in a strange place? Well, this place feels like home...but on Greers Ferry Lake...with excellent access to the water...and without the mortgage note. My family had a great time and found everything just as advertised. Of course, the owner worked closely with us to ensure that all our questions were answered before we left our home and that everything was in perfect order when we arrived. We had such a great time, we are looking forward to a return trip next summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This property is very well maintained and clean. Beautiful lake view and attention to detail with the new decorating and the cleanliness. This property gives you the full feel for the lake with it's views and convenience. My family and I plan on being long term renters of this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Lovely house on the outside with nice landscaping, spacious and comfortable inside, plus two refrigerators, two decks and a patio made it very convenient.
