Dear Sumner Family, We lived here a dozen years ago, and it was so sad when we had to say goodbye to the beach. This has been a wonderful week spent with family, old friends and new friends. The kids had a great time with Crystal South surf lessons. The beach was wonderful – the weather divine. The house was spacious and comfortable. We wanted to bring our grown boys and their 2 best friends to Wrightsville Beach for a celebration graduation trip and UNCW orientation. When we knew we needed 4 bedrooms, the rental choices became limited as they were too prohibitive in their cost. We didn't need anything fancy, but we needed room. We were lucky to find this beach cottage in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Loved the layout and it was great for the six of us. The short walk to the beach was totally manageable, even with carrying boards and beach chairs. Parking was great too for our 3 cars. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Wrightsville Beach, thanks to a place that was big enough and had the amenities we needed.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Great Beach House for a Family!

Our family spent a wonderful week here, with family members arriving daily as the week progressed to a big family event - our son's - wedding which took place south of Wilmington. The location is great - easy to get to major higways in and out of town, just steps from the beach and ocean, the home is open and spacious - perfect for a family gathering, and the owners are so nice to work with! We loved every minute and were sorry to leave at the end of the week. We'll certainly be back!

We were a party of 6 who spent a wonderfull week in this home. The house and the location were fantastic. The beach was a 5 minute walk at most and had the finest sand I have seen in ages. All 6 of us loved the beach and the water and the fact that the nearby area is unspoiled. One member commented about iit was what was not there that counted i.e. no shops to ruin the beauty and no sellers of various wares. This lead to a beautiful beach that could be enjoyed without interruption. The home itself, surpassed it's description. If anything the listing does not do it justice. It was spotless and fully prepared on our arrival and we had no cause to contact anyone due to any difficulties. I would strongly recmmend it for families or groups.

Watching the 4th from the rooftop was a highlight.

What a wonderful time we had with our family and friends at this relaxing beach home! Since we had never been to Wrightsville Beach, we weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised! Just a nice stroll and we were at a perfect spot on the beach and not far from the pier. The home was relaxing and the kitchen was great for fixing meals in. The covered porch was a great place for having outdoor meals. ]The owners were so helpful in answering questions and giving us info on the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this home to others. We will be going back there!

We moved Camille’s things out of her “soccer girls” suite Q down to Lily’s Seahawk Landing apartment. Now it’s our time to relax and enjoy your lovely place. Beautiful week of weather. During my stay my daughter, Kristin was cast in a commercial and also in a local fashion show. Her boyfriend Trevor works at a restaurant downtown called Deluxe. 8-15-08 Sumner Family We cannot thank you enough for sharing your serene and spacious home with us. Our oldest son participated in Surfer’s Healing for autism, it was a magical experience. We took a ride to the NC Aquarium, took the ferry at Ft. Fisher. Our whole family played in the waves under the setting sun and full moon, enjoyed the warm breezes as we ate outside under the shade of the porch, and experienced the bliss of the sunrise over the ocean. We have been going to Wrightsville Beach for the last 30 years to visit family, but we have not had a more enjoyable stay than this one. Stephanie bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The beach house was wonderfully located, more than ample parking (which is always an issue there, well-furnished, clean, spacious, and so well equipped that there is not enough room to mention all the extras. Thank you for sharing your home and making it a truly memorable family visit.

We had a great time at 10 Bermuda. Neal and Stephanie are the best, they made sure everything was just right for our stay. The house was spacious, quiet and a quick walk to the sand, ocean water was some of the best I've seen, beach was very clean and the people in the neighborhood were charming.
